“SHIRLEY has been a bright light in my life since it opened a few doors down from me. Kat is a one woman show and cares deeply about where food comes from & her customers!! Her menu is based on fruits and veg that are in season, and rotates frequently. Whenever I come in to pick up an order, she always takes the time to point out new vegan items on the menu, tell me about her plans, and even chat for a few minutes, all while she's prepping orders. The bread is famous for a reason. It's versatile and so comforting! “Happened upon the Square Deli when a friend were in Chelsea for a medical test. OMGOODNESS. It was amazing. The menu was huge and so were the sandwiches. We had a Reuben and Paisano with lotsa fresh ingredients including yummy fresh bread. Served with homemade chips and pickles. Enough for 2 meals or to split if we agreed on the sandwich, lol. The owner was SO nice and friendly and accommodating. We opted for take out containers for another meal and the chocolate chip (homemade & huge) again with a great balance of soft in the middle and crispy on edges. They have been working on their cookies for a while, so they say, I think it's by far the best cookie I have ever had! hopefully don't have to go back for medical tests but would definitely field trip for their pizza next which has won many awards.“

“I will be honest, I didn't have high hopes for a place called BEST Sandwich Company in a sketchy strip mall on Rt.1. Turns out they make a really really solid Itailian. Was it The Best, no but I will definitely be back. Extra Point for the chip and drink selection.“

“Everyone has been raving about this place so while I was getting a sticker across the street I went in and got a small Italian. It is very hard to get a real Italian Sub anymore. This sandwich was amazing and their bread tasted very good. I ate half of it there and took the other half home. While I was eating the owner gave me a small piece of Sicilian pizza and a meatball to try out! They make their own meatballs. Both were great. I can't wait to go back and I will definitely be ordering take out from them.Parking: There are a few spots in front. The parking lot is behind the building.“

“The 2 dudes behind the counter were working so freaking hard to get orders out. I felt so bad, made me want to apron up and help! They had a good number of tickets, people walking in, and the other customers were getting annoyed, maybe not verbally, but the symphony of sighs spoke volumes. Get them more help, cause they definitely needed atleast one more person. I'm a General Manager and it was lowkey upsetting to watch them get wrecked like that.Foods always amazing!!! “My aunt gave me her leftover fries I didn’t even order from here-so I got them after she finished her meal and couldn’t finish the fries-and it was a small so that tells you how big a small is-and let me tell you they were the BEST fries I’ve ever had. Not a single one was overdone or inedible or even ugly-they were all crispy and delicious-that’s a difficult thing to achieve-crispy fries 30 min after leaving the counter! If their fries are good I can only assume the rest is too! My aunts been a customer for years I only wish she shred her fries with me a long time ago!“

“Best breakfast place in all of Massachusetts I'd say. So many different varieties of sandwhiches and subs I haven't tried any so far that I've disliked. My favorite menu items are the bacon bboy and the clogger. The sauce that comes with these sandwiches the jacobs river is actually fuckin fire I could prolly drink that shit . Definitely recommend. “This specific location was by far my favorite experience EVER! The staff was smiling from the moment my son and I walked into the building. We were greeted with positive attitudes, and taken care of as if we were the only customers there. Which by the way, the shop filled up immediately during a lunch rush and the vibe stayed 100% perfect. Richard went out of his way to show how easy it is to spread joy! “Stopped by here to grab some sandwiches to go for my son and myself on a busy, activity packed Saturday.We got an Italian and a Roast Beef and Turkey on heroes. Very generous portions, packed with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Nice pickles and hot peppers too, upon request.Very satisfying sandwich.There were 3 families seated enjoying sandwiches and the sandwiches all looked delicious. The pastrami also smelled delicious. I have to go back there to try it next time. :)“

“We got there at close to closing, as we had been shopping all day and needed supper. I had told my bf how great Papa Ginos was and if it's open we need to go. (We are from Canada, but Papa Ginos has always been a stop in my visits)The lady working was soo friendly and turned out a pizza quickly. Crust was amazing, as was the sauce. “The subs are really good. The bread is soft baked. We got the steak and cheese, grilled chicken, and the Mediterranean with falafel in it. The highlight for me was the cinnamon bun though. It was one of the best cinnamon buns I've ever had store bought. Soft baked, nothing crispy or dry, generous amount of frosting. Could use more cinnamon sugar mix, but still, the best.“

“There's a special thing about the highway stretching the length of Saugus, MA. There's food from every chain or stand-alone kitchen you can find and yet one side of the highway has always held my attention more than the other. I've never eaten at a Jersey Mikes before. So my girlfriend and I finally went the other night after I saw a trending Instagram post with a guy explaining how to make the best combo sandwich on the menu and where to substitue for other ingredients or modify "Mike's Way" (several staple toppings). I've heard and tried so many of these posts or Top 10 lists on the best sandwiches in and around Boston. It's nothing new to me and I try not to pass on a chain because of its namesake. So we go in to try it, judge it, and move on with our evening. Unfortunately, things didn't go exactly as planned. The staff knew exactly what I was going for, the influencer sharing the secret sandwich, and even catered some finishing dipping sauces just before we sat down to dine in. The scene was set for a decent meal. So I took my first bite, sat with it for a moment and then looked over at her. We hardly spoke the rest of our meal. I'll leave you here to say that this sandwich has caused some problems for us. We're now struggling to decide which day and routine were breaking to squeeze in a weekly trip to Mike's. Yeah, it was that good.“

So when my granddaughter, JAH’NYAH introduced me to Super7, their open kitchen and cleanliness of the restaurant, coupled with their kindhearted servers got me! “I used go to there in the 1980s when I was in high school. Just went there today after 35 years to show my daughter and still the best deli. The store is now much bigger than it was 35 years ago with a lot more variety of things. So happy it is still there.“

“Was working in the area one day and I saw this place , I was hungry so I figured I would stop in. It turns out this place is a hidden gem disguised as a roast beef shop. The owners are Greek, and being from NY , and a bit of a food snob, I know from experience that Greek restaurant owners make some of the most delicious food you ever taste. I ordered a gyro , boom blown away. I haven't tasted a gyro this good since I left NY then years ago. This is the real thing.“

This is a rare 5 star review for an indiscript sandwich shop serving what might be the best Italian Sub I have ever eaten. Top quality Italian meats sliced perfectly thin and assembled on a perfect sub roll with veggie and hots marinaded in a tangy vinegar dressing. I really don't know how it could be made any better.
