“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

“This was incredible. We came here for a late Valentine’s Day dinner around 9 and the place was still pretty busy. We did have a reservation so we were seated downstairs promptly. The only thing we could even think of being a negative is the time it took for the waiter to approach our table initially but it’s a holiday and they were busy so we weren’t pressed. The drinks were great (Mojito and Hotel Nacional) We really weren’t ready for how AMAZING the food was. We had the Jamon Croquettes, Chicharrones de Invierno, Costillas and Taco del dia. Just try it all. They had a passion fruit mousse chocolate tarte special for Valentine’s Day, also amazing. The AGM (I think?) came to chat with us and he was so animated and friendly. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. “Update 22 Mar 2026: Another awesome meal and this time we enjoyed it with our friends.We are huge fans of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the waitlist timer is still way off, which makes planning to get there on time a bit challenging. The first time, I joined the wait list, it showed 30-60 min but our table was ready in 10 min or so. the next time, it showed 30-60 min but our table was not ready within that time frame.

June 2025:
Since we discovered this restaurant last month we have already eaten here twice. The food, the atmosphere, the seating is so amazing and so authentically Japanese. We loved the ramen, takoyaki and pop corn chicken. Make sure to reserve in advance as they get busy even on a working Tuesday..“
