“This was the best night out I’ve had with my husband in a long time. The food was spectacular- I suggest the mezze platter so you can try everything, and of course the koshari. The mushroom fritters they had as a special were divine. The atmosphere and quality of service were top-notch and we will absolutely be coming here regularly.“

“We eat at Eddie's often and enjoy the food and service. This last time we enjoyed the food again but service was not up to par and it was terribly loud. Our server was either new or unfamiliar with our drink order so she asked another server to ask us again. My glass of ginger ale was skipped and so weren't my husband and his friend's after dinner drinks. 90% of the time we go and there's never a problem. This time was different. It was my husband and his best friend's birthdays.“

“The tase of the food was amazing , but portions are very small. Even a dinner is a tapas appetizer. The drinks were good too. But $15 for a margarita is stupid. $8 is reasonable
The service was tops and quickly. Friendly and kind, but language barrier. Is an issue. I spoke English and Spanish and no one understands anything? I’ve had much better in oriental de Cuba, which is NO LONGER in JP.

“I started going here in 2020 and slowly became obsessed. Best bakery and cafe in Somerville. The vibes of the staff are phenomenal but additionally the food and tea are to die for. I always get the London fog with vanilla and the vegan egg cheddar sandwich. Don’t forget to try to banana tajin muffin!!“

I have been to many Iranian restaurants, from LA to Watertown and this place was magnificent. Nice clean place. The food was great. But if you are in a rush to eat, you better get some patience. It takes time for that good food to come to your table, but when it does, you better take a deep breath and enjoy it.

“We LOVE Ithaki. I call it my “happy meal”. We celebrate every special occasion here. Drinks are great, all the food is amazing although we have our go to order with little variation. Cheese Saganaki and Youvetsi every time and sometimes we will add another app or finish off with galaktoboureko and ithaki coffees. Christos may be our favorite waiter ever but all of the waitstaff is great.“

“I live in Bar Harbor, Maine, and one of my guests staying with us offered me a homemade bagel from this establishment. It's one of the best poppy seed bagels I've had in a long time, and the homemade chive cream cheese pairs so perfectly with the smoked salmon. It made my day eating this bagel after work. I love lox. It's one of the sweetest gifts a guest has ever given me. 💕 When I travel the coast looking at lighthouses this winter, this bagel shop will definitely be on my places to stop. Alan is a great supporter and saleman! I'm happy to have met him and have him as one of my guests. Great memory, I'll keep with me. Thanks Alan 😊😊“

“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“We love bagelsaurus! You certainly have the market for bagels in this area. Others just don’t compare. Best bagel sandwiches. Please bring back online preordering for sandwiches on weekends. Online ordering was time efficient for everyone and child friendly in a location that is generally very child unfriendly.“

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“
