“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!“

“Love the homey atmosphere! You can tell everything is homemade with love patty melt on rye was delicious as was the hash skillet and eggs over hash. The seasonal pumpkin pancake was also great 10/10 would recommend and come again. Street parking only so keep your eyes peeled for a spot.“

“Love the vibe of Notch, and of course, the BEER! The owner and staff are great, attentive, and always there with a smile. Yoy got to try the pretzel and look for special events like the monthly meat raffle! I appreciate their policy of 21+ at night, kids are great, but sometimes not all the time! Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!“

“We met some friends to celebrate our friend's birthday. We sat out on the deck with a lovely view. The waitress was very accommodating having made a suggestion when I could not eat the vegetables offered due to dietary restrictions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only negative was that it was a very very warm evening and there were no fans or AC on the deck or even in the inside dining room. So we were all a bit uncomfortable. However, we managed to enjoy our meals and would return again on a cooler evening.“

There are so many dining choices in Salem, and we return here time after time. Classic Italian with some interesting additions mixed in, like the Chicken Miguel. The eggplant rollatini is the best I’ve ever had. Large portions and reasonable pricing. Generous pours on cocktails. Even in October, when the city is incredibly busy, the food and service remain top notch.“

“The view and ambience can't be beat. We always like the fresh grilled fish and sauce/spice options. The same potato and vegetable sides grow tedious after frequently dining here. Some more options for sides would be a great addition to a favorite spot.“

“I want to hear with a big group of friends after work. I think we had 12 at our table and our server was so accommodating with making sure that we had enough seats, menus, and utensils. She also knew the menu so well and was able to recommend something for me to eat because everything looked so good.

I ordered they're spicy margarita which was just spicy enough. I think I ordered a cheeseburger too and it was good, but I wish I got seafood. Someone at the table ordered musseles and they were amazing, so good that I had to make some for myself that weekend. I also got to try the corn ribs and those are a lot of fun to eat. One of my favorite things was their style of french fries because they are puffy and crispy.“

“Anytime we are traveling North we have to make a stop here. I LOVE their themed ciders we came in October specifically for their Pocus flight and this past July for their Shark flight to celebrate shark week. We never leave without taking home a pack or two. It is kind of hard to find parking but we make it work. There is no food here but sometimes they have food trucks or you can bring your own food and eat it at the patio.“

“This place is such a treat. We stopped in on a whim after much deliberation about what to eat in Salem, and we’re so happy we did. The owner, Ray, acquired Adea’s a few years back and the addition of Jamaican menu items to the mediterranean offerings really is the highlight, in my opinion. My boyfriend got the Jerk Chicken plate and I got Escoveitch fish. Both dishes were incredible, and you can obviously tell the passion and appreciation Chef Ray has for his food. It was all so good: Crispy fish skin, peas and rice, and delicious house-made jerk sauce that blew us away. Places like this are few and far between, so do yourself a favor and sit down in this place!“

“Their food is always great. The service is good right down to the happiest delivery person i have ever seen. Everyone there seems to be happy and glad to serve you always with a smile. I have also found the prices to be more reasonable than most other restaurants. I gladly order from there because I know it will be delicious and reasonably priced.

What I have ordered in not on the list provided. Cheese steak sub, pizzas, haddock subs, fish and chips, haddock sandwich, Italian sub, tuna sub, and BLT wrap. Those are what I usually order and all wonderful.“

“Came during a ladies trip in August. On our first day, we stopped by for lunch and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were cold and were made perfectly by the bartender. (espresso martinis were 💯) The next morning we tried their breakfast and it also did not disappoint. We sat outside both days, but the inside is beautiful and has murals on the walls. Staff were attentive and polite, I Highly recommend!“

“The ladies were so quick, even quicker than us realising what we wanted. The food was delicious (soft and warm inside, perfect outside) and we didn’t wait long at all mid-day on a Monday, and they still had some of my favourite bagel left - egg - that I struggle to find outside of New England. The bathrooms were clean as well.“
