“We had a wonderful experience at Oro. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so pleasing. We celebrated two High School graduates. One from Michigan who is going to Stanford and the other from Utah who will be attending the University of Utah. Everything went as planned. We especially want to thank Tatum who planned everything out for us. She answered all our questions and helped make the evening such a success. We also want to thank Robin King, Chef and Owner, for the delicious meal. If you are thinking of hosting an event please contact Oro. You will not be disappointed!!“

“My wife and visited Sam’s and were happy to discover that club sandwiches are on the menu. We noticed that many harbor restaurants have removed club sandwiches from their menus.
The food, service and people were great and we will be coming here more often.“

“A cozy, small restaurant tucked away within downtown Cohasset. I especially wanted to give an enormous shoutout to the extremely generous jumbo lobster sandwich that they sold during this time. It was expensive, as expected, but it did not disappoint in terms of its mass. It was huge, delicious and presentable.

The atmosphere is, as I stated before, cozy, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It was definitely more on the quieter side--which I preferred that day--though that may depend on the time and season when you visit.

If you're walking or driving around town, I strongly recommend stopping by here, as it is an easy 5-stars for me.“

“Very good meal and drinks“

“After doing a lot of work around the house on Saturday we all decided to go out for dinner. Decided to try Liv. This was our first time trying the restaurant. Basically, food was good. Cocktails need work. Atmosphere was nice. Service was great.
We ordered the charcuterie board as we sat down. Good but it was a bit on the pricey side for what we got.
Drinks were subpar. Coconut margarita was ALL lime juice and just a hint of coconut and couldn’t taste the tequila. The pride day drink special was missing something which we couldn’t put our finger on.
For dinner we ordered fish and chips. Good except the fish was thin and dry. Fries were good.
The buffalo spaghetti squash Mac and cheese tasted good but presented as a plate of orangey brown pile of slop. We took most of it home. Yesterday I put it in a pie crust, mixed in a simple egg custard, covered it with cheese and baked it. It turned out delicious!! My suggestion would be to work on the presentation of this dish. Serve it in a crock or bowl with melted cheese on top or in a simple pie crust. The last thing we ordered was the veggie wrap. It was simple but delicious.
Will we return? Of course. We will try it again.“

“The Square Cafe is now my go-to spot. Their bread pudding is the star - I'm still dreaming about it. The holiday cocktail menu is fun creative and festive. The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! Whether you're coming for the amazing bread pudding (which you absolutely should) or the delicious food and cocktails, their warm hospitality made our visit extra special. Five stars, easily one of the best dining experiences on the South Shore.“

“Great food and atmosphere. My friends and I sat upstairs played pool and could hear the live music being played downstairs. They have a patio and on nice days the music is out there. My girlfriend really likes the haddock fingers and stuffed avocados. I usually get the bbq, but the bar burger rocks too. There’s a special on Thursdays $9 for the burger special!“

“Michelle took excellent care of us despite having an insane number of tables to manage. Her personality combined with *the best* breakfast dish I've had in MA (Sweet Baby Ray Charles) made this a memorable experience.

My wife ordered the cinnabon pancakes with the frosting on the side, and that was the right call. The pancakes were amazing, improved marginally with some butter, plain old butter on top. The included frosting or maple syrup would have overpowered them and made them too sweet. They were amazing just as they came.

The Sweet Baby Ray Charles was an experience that, in the words of our waitress, will change you. Sweet, spicy, salty, savory, hallucination inducing... My new life's mission is to replicate their cornbread so I can put my own sweet and spicy chicken on top.

Do yourself a favor and get down here. Prices are reasonable despite the egg controversy plaguing Us in 2025, the coffee is good and plentiful, people are fantastic, and the food is wonderful.“

“We went in at 5:45 on Saturday and got seated right away. Our server, Marina, was very friendly with a great sense of humor. She brought our drinks quickly and took our orders and brought our food out hot. We got the Smash burger and Cowboy burger and they were cooked just the way we asked. “I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

“One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the South Shore is Mia Regazza in Marshfield. The restaurant is spacious, featuring a bar, dining rooms, and outdoor seating during the summer. The service is friendly and professional, and the dining rooms maintain a pleasant noise level. The food is excellent, with the chicken Parmesan being a standout dish. Parking can be challenging during dinner hours, so it's recommended to arrive a bit early. It is definitely recommended.“
