“We were so lucky to find Mary and Victor Alsobrook and La Bonne Maison for our fall brunch wedding reception at Olio. They were so easy to work with and genuine and accommodating - it was a dream to work with them. From our signature cocktails (blood orange prosecco cocktails, fall spiced sangria, hot toddy) to our food (biscuits and sausage gravy, lobster grilled cheese, fried chicken and waffles, French toast soufflé, Greek orzo salad, seafood salad, apple cider doughnuts, mushroom pastry purses, pear gorgonzola stars, and more!) to the beautiful spice wedding cake - it was absolute perfection. We love La Bonne Maison!“
“We had a wonderful time with Chef Jason! We were impressed from start to finish. He was professional and a good human. He had menu selection google meet up w/me prior to my husband's birthday surprise as well as a kitchen walk through to make sure I had all the necessary equipment. Anything I did not have, he offered to bring. The food was delicious, each course built on one another and left us wanting more. Anything we did not eat was packaged up so there was no food waste, which I really appreciated. Leftovers heated up nicely as well. What I loved about this was it was a total surprise to my husband and he kept saying how he never would have gotten this experience and felt this special in a restaurant. Chef Jason made that happen. For the quality of food and professionalism, I thought the price tag was fair and well worth it. I can't say enough good things about this experience and loved working with Chef J! I hope to book another dinner with him in the future!

“We had an incredible experience with Sensational Paella! We worked directly with Julian, and he made planning our event and preparing the food an absolute breeze. He was so easy to work with and incredibly helpful, guiding us to create the perfect menu and overall experience for our private event. His team was equally wonderful—friendly, kind, and clearly passionate about the food they were cooking. We enjoyed two large paellas and a beautiful grazing station with endless options. The quality of the food truly stood out: the meats, cheeses, and garlic butter shrimp were phenomenal. Our guests loved every bite and savored every moment. I have been involved in many sports organizations in Malden and can tell you first hand, he is a gem! On a side note the people of the city of Malden, will miss his son Craig on the Malden city council!“

“My favorite pastime in Boston is coming to one of the Vintage Tea and Cake locations. This location is a small storefront. Very cozy and a little tight so not the best location if you’re claustrophobic. All locations are very flexible if you have allergen restrictions, and let them know ahead of time so they can keep gluten-free products on hand. Nice-casual is great attire but some people take on a more “date” slash “tea party” attire.“

That's how things work when monopolies take over Society. Every meal I've ever had from them on a plane has been satisfactory, but then again, no choice, so you get what you get! Also, you've no reason to visit here. It's a warehouse. Not a tourist destination.“

“Hiring Capers for our wedding was the best decision we’ve ever made! The people were great, and the food and drinks were out of this world. Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They guided us through the daunting task of designing our menu and beverage program, as well as assisted in our furniture and linen rentals. We always felt like we were in good hands. The food was absolutely stunning! Capers has a wide variety of interesting menu options, far beyond your typical wedding dishes. We ended up going with BBQ, Asian, and fall seasonal stations, in addition to an assortment of fun appetizers, plus gourmet donuts for dessert. The food was unique, gorgeous, and most importantly, absolutely delicious! They were also able to make special accommodations for our guests with dietary restrictions, so everybody left with a full belly. Many guests told us that this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We definitely agree! For the bar, Capers was able to handle all of our special requests and provided a unique selection of craft beers, ciders, seltzers, as well as plenty of wine and liquor options. They did a great job of finding cool, local brands that gave the bar a much more upscale feel without breaking the bank. The signature cocktails that they designed for us were both beautiful and delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! P.S. Get the cake pops, you won’t regret it!“
