“Capers did the catering for our wedding on 10/8. Our previous caterer had to cancel on us and Capers stepped up and blew us away. We had duck for dinner and lamb for appetizers! We had vegan and gluten free guests and they loved their options as well, don't worry. Their tasting room was fun too!“

“We honestly didn't know what to expect with the Four Handed Illusionist Show, however, it was beyond our expectations.The comedy mixed with the magic and illusions was so exciting. We were there for my brother's birthday. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess named Rachel and the unbelievable top notch customer service from the barmaid's Alyssa and Bau. All three of those ladies were amazing and I love to bump into them again. Rachel was super accommodating and always had a smile.The barmaid's had wonderful drink suggestions, smiles, customer service and told us how much we would enjoy the show.Well, the main attraction was the 2 gentlemen that put on an unbelievable show. I remember magic since I was little and you don't see that anymore. I would come back to the see the show with other friends or family members again and again.I love that it was required to dress up because when you look good, you feel good and what else was nice...It was a very intimate show that was super interactive with the audience. “Cool Cow Ice Cream is incredible! I am on the Tufts Graduate Student Council and we have worked with John for many events over the years and every time has been a pleasure. John is amazing to work with - he is extremely easy to reach, is very communicative, and has always been flexible for all of our events. The truck and ice cream are very well priced and full of fun flavors that all the students love from their childhood. I would definitely recommend Cool Cow Ice cream!“

We had a relatively good sized graduation affair and with many discerning TX barbecue connoisseurs in the house I was a bit worried...but boy what a hit this barbecue was...everybody loved it. The quality of the food, the sides off the hook, the cooking technique was superb (you can tell by smokiness, tenderness and juiciness of meat) The care they took in how it was prepared and packaged for pickup. “Amazing deli sandwiches, but glad we got here early as the lines form for lunch super quick. The person who I was with and I both had pastrami sandwiches with half sour pickles. I couldn't believe how quiet the restaurant was. We were able to find a seat no problem and our sandwiches came out about 5-6 minutes after we ordered it. When I say that the pastrami melted in your mouth, it was just so flavorful and juicy. Where we live, we don't have places like this, so this was definitely a treat.“

“This place is fantastic. We’ve been dinning at the Wellesley’s store for about one year now and have no complaints. Staff is super professional and amicable. “We have used La Bonne Maison twice. The first was for our wedding in 2016 and our guests raved about the food. Even our DJ said it was the best wedding meal he had ever eaten. The second time was for my graduation party following my master's degree in 2023. Same thing! Even the presentation for a backyard picnic meal felt special. “Visited this place on a sunday and was not disappointed! It runs like a well oiled machine. We got hot lobster rolls and the chowder. It was wonderful. The owner came out and made sure our sandwiches were on point, replacing one (fried fish) that was a little bit overcooked. He came back multiple times to make sure we all loved our food. “Ok so first point is the food was awesome. Friendly staff, and good location. The price is good, a little less than typical for bbq. We had 3 meals which consisted of brisket, ribs and half chicken with the sides of Mac n cheese (which to me could use a little smoke flavor or cheese with a little more flavor. Could just be a personal preference. ) baked beans and Brussel sprouts.Overall fantastic meal for good price.They need a bigger seating area but for a new BBQ place in New England they are on their way to becoming well known for great food. Fruit platters are always fresh. If you want an assortment of sandwiches, any pasta, stuffed shells, meatballs or a garden salad, you will not be disappointed. The presentation is superb! “The perfect ending to the perfect wedding. We had Frosty come towards the end of my son's wedding reception as a surprise to everyone. After a fun night of eating, drinking and dancing it was the perfect ending. What fun so many guests posted pictures having an ice cream. The attendant was fun and helpful and moved quickly. Basil Tree has great locally sourced food and take incredible measures to reduce waste. They are always responsive, friendly, and an absolute delight to work with. “We loved working with Julian and his team for our summer 2023 wedding! We were excited to serve paella because the bride's late grandfather was known for making celebratory paellas for large events, and this felt like a good way to remember him on the big day. Julian honored that sentiment and then some!Julian was very helpful and friendly throughout the process. He helped us understand what was possible with our budget, and he helped us make selections when it came to our table settings. He was friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process, and he had everything handled when our wedding venue coordinator left her job and someone less familiar with the venue took over.On the day of, Julian and his team were on it! The cocktail hour spread and food were both amazing, and Julian made up plates and had waters ready for the bride and groom right after the ceremony, so we had plenty to snack on while we were having our couple's portraits done. He and his team were cooking up a show, and even let the ring bearer mix some of the paella, which our family got a real kick out of! He also took candid photos throughout the day, which felt like an added bonus. Even now, six months out from the wedding, people are still commenting about how amazing the food was. “The Serranito sandwich is the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had. We were in Boston for 3 days with a full food itinerary, stopped in here on day one and had to come back a second time before we left. The sandwiches are big, easy to split between two people. Freshly sliced ham, incredible cheese, crispy toasted bread, garlic aioli…this is our favorite place we ate in Boston. A must eat!!!“

“Great local Italian shop with wide selection. I came a few days before a holiday and I was still able to get a couple trays of Eggplant and lasagna when no one else could accommodate. I am so glad they couldn't because the food was so great. The service was quick enough considering that it was right before holiday and a "small" shop. From the other customers I can tell this is a Gem and loved business that I can imagine goes multiple generations.“

“I tried the plain bagel, muffin, chocolate croissant, danish, mixed fruits, and yogurt fruit cup with granola.- Plain Bagel: Subpar. Too chewy.- Muffin: Fluffy, moist, and tasty. This was my favorite of the things I tried.- Chocolate Croissant: Good but nothing special. Quality is comparable to supermarket-bought croissants rather than a fresh croissant from a bakery.- Danish: Too sweet so I wasn’t a fan.- Mixed Fruits: They weren’t that sweet, but you can never go wrong with fruits to balance out the heavier foods.- Yogurt Fruit Cup and Granola: The portion size was good. The yogurt was very smooth. I would have preferred plain yogurt. The granola was very crunchy and good.They have a lot of different menus to choose from for catering.“

“Vibe Food Truck is the best! Paul and his team are amazing. Booking process was easy with so many great options to choose from (the Mac & Cheese is a must). We had them out for a house party, and of course it was the one day that week with the worst weather but Paul and team made it work, serving delicious food with great service throughout a crazy wind/rain storm. The food was so good that my guests didn't mind going out in the horrible weather, even going back out for more. “I cannot say enough good things about Wildfire Catering. They catered our wedding and the whole experience was absolutely seamless. Our venue did not have a kitchen so they prepared everything from the Amigos Locos food truck. We had a traditional happy hour with stationary and passed appetizers, and then our guests went out to the truck to select their dinner. They served our 100+ guests in no time. The food was delicious and people are still raving about it – my one friend commented that ours is the only wedding she’s attended where she left very full. Beyond the amazing food, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Bryan. He is very knowledgeable and has a ton of experience in the industry so he helped to craft the perfect menu for our event that gave everyone a choice of several options and accommodated all dietary restrictions. He also worked directly with the city to get the appropriate permits. Trust them with your next event and you’ll be in great hands!“

“This was quite literally the best meal I've had in months. The jerk chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender and absurdly delicious. The rice and peas are perfectly seasoned and cooked and the fried plantains are some of the best I've ever had. Don't sleep on this place! It's primarily a take-out spot, but there are a few seats at the counter if you want to eat in. The service is warm and welcoming, and the food is fantastic and made with love.“

“Came here for a late breakfast, since it was close to our hotel. Can't say enough good things about the place. Prices were reasonable, especially for being in the heart of the city. Portions were generous and everything tasted great! I had the traditional breakfast with bacon and it came with a heaping pile of home fries, and a couple. nice slices of sourdough toast. My only complaint is that the bacon wasn't thickly sliced. My daughter had the Challah French toast and gave it two thumbs up!“

No one would make it, others offered a lemon filling, but no icing!! I called Arthur’s it have been a decade correct more since I had been there, the baker was sweet, agreed to make this cake! And WOW JUST WOW!! It was incredibly fabulous, the cake was outstanding but the icing was not screaming lemon, it had the perfect level of lemony flavor ! I cannot thank them enough! Fiona, though very busy (holiday season) was so supportive throughout the process. The food was AMAZING!! Everything was tasty - no salt or pepper needed - absolutely flavorful. The apps were great - tequila lime chicken skewers, beef skewers, crab cakes, shrimp and charred corn, citrus scallops - all delectable! For the main dish, they recreated this sea bass dish with bouillabaisse, clams, and potatoes! Again, super tasty!! Would recommend them for any small or large gathering - true professionals!!“

“I have been enjoying Chicken and Rice guys since it was a line of food trucks!Whether you order from the kiosk or the counter the food comes out immediately - they know how to move the lunch crowd along. I always get the chicken on rice. And I usually get the garlic sauce, the barbeque sauce or some mix of the two. It's consistently good, but your other options are tofu or gyro - but I've never had either. They have cans of soda (coke company!) and some house made beverages. Always a delicious meal. This is the only brick and mortar location I've ever been to - and though I liked the Cheeseboy that was here years before, Chicken and Rice guys is a step up. (The cheeseboy lives on in a rectangular garbage slot in the center trashcan console that is the exact shape of the cheeseboy sandwich boxes)My less favorite things.The Kiosk is right in front of the door, so if a customer is slow at the kiosk, folks queue up and block the door. I'm also not a fan of the hard plastic to go containers.“

“Have ordered from here multiple times throughout the pandemic but finally got to visit in person. Cute cafe vibe rather than a restaurant! My coffee was good. For food, I highly recommend the arepas (like with sweet plantains), cachapa con queso (which has the best cheese and sweet corn flavor like I cannot explain how freakin good it is), and yucca fries with the dip.It's a lil cramped inside and so we had to wait a bit after ordering for a regular table to clear, although they do have a bar-like seating too.“
