“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. “Can’t say enough good things about our experience at Capri! We came in to celebrate our friend finishing her cancer treatments, and they made an already incredibly special night even more unforgettable.

The restaurant was busy, but we never felt rushed for even a second. Everyone was so warm and genuinely engaged with our table, and they even surprised us with champagne to celebrate our friend, which meant so much to all of us.

Randy was our server and he was absolutely exceptional. He was fun, attentive, so personable, and somehow made the whole night feel really personal and special. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience.

“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“One of my favorite steakhouses, for special occasions especially! I've had the tomahawk for 2 before and it was delicious! Definitely a splurge but the table side carving is a great touch. My most recent visit me and my boyfriend both got the bone-in ribeye and it was phenomenal, cooked to perfection!!! Our waiter, Sean, was also excellent! Attentive without being overwhelming and when he heard I was going to order the roasted bone marrow add-on, he made the wonderful suggestion of getting the appetizer portion of 2 boats so we both could enjoy. It also came with bread (different from the delicious salted one in the beginning), sauce, and a roasted head of garlic for $26 vs $15 for just the add-on, great deal! The manager on duty, Carolyn, stopped by the table as well and was so personable and pleasant to speak with. She wished me a happy birthday and wrote a lovely follow up email. The drinks were delicious and well balanced, spicy marg and an old fashioned. Overall, a lovely experience and will definitely be back again.“

My filet mignon and lobster tail was cooked very well, the truffle risotto was one of the best I had. “Went here for my birthday. Wasn't cheap, but I got what I paid for. They did have a price fixe menu available for $60, but I went a la carte. Steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the seafood (my meal featured shrimp, crab, and lobster) was all delicious as well. 10/10 would recommend strongly.

We didn't really need the reservations that we'd made, as the place was pretty quiet on a Thursday night. I can't speak for the weekends, though.“

“I haven’t been to Yard House in so long. I was starving so I decided to get dinner and go for a drink there. I ordered Lobster Garlic noodles, and for a drink I got a Twisted Tea. I was disappointed that they took Chocolate Cake off their menu that was always the best! But I got this big Oreo cookie brownie and it comes with Ice Cream on top with Caramel. It was very delicious. Also, the bartender lady with glasses who severed me was an excellent bartender! She was super sweet very friendly. I hope to come back again soon!“

“Popped by yesterday after walking by this place for 40 years. Saw a handmade sign advertising a meatball sub for $10. ok,,ill try it. It was homemade and actually pretty good BUT in my 60 years of eating meatball subs, this is the first one that was just meatball and bread..(with a sprinkle of parm out of a Kraft container)..no sauce or cheese (although i can do without that) some sauce would have made it!“
