“The food was great!! The service, I should say our service was very poor. We waited over 47 minutes before we were served our meals. The problem was not the kitchen because a couple who came in after us was served before us. It was the wait staff.“

“Stumbled into this restaurant today by accident, and left wondering how soon I could get back there. Absolutely the best-tasting food I have ordered in most of New England. The servings are generous, the menu extensive, the ingredients fresh and perfectly seasoned. One of our group is a picky eater and she couldn’t get enough of her veggie burrito. My grilled eggplant sandwich was to die for, and another at our table ordered the portobello sandwich, which she declared superb. The owner/host and a new employee could not have been more accommodating. This is a very clean, unassuming place, a real gem. Coming down from Vermont - the land of vegetarians - I went back wishing we had this great place where I live.“

“The food is great. I always get the taco special. The ingredients are fresh.
The only downside is the waiting area. You are packed like sardines in line to place or pick up an order.
I would definitely suggest calling ahead and placing an order for takeout over the phone.
There are a few tables for sit-down dining but the room is very tight and crowded.“

My fave breakfast joint is on Vancouver island in Canada. My second favorite to this point was in Tucson. I have had a lot of breakfasts. I have had a lot of corned beef. If you aren’t ordering the corned beef here, you will be judged. It’s why people don’t consider going vegetarian. When you pass away, whether or not you had this corned beef will be factored in to how your life is measured. Get the hash.“

This particular time, I made a reservation for Father's Day but I accidentally booked it for a week prior - the manager was so incredible and could hear the desperation in my voice, so squeezed us in and made it work by his own kindness, even though the restaurant was fully booked. Our waiter was amazing - the service was incredible from beginning to end and our meal was absolutely delicious and so freshly homemade as always! We cannot wait to come back, thank you Spiga!!“

I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. “We went to cook on a Sunday for brunch on a table of 5 with 3 kids. Our server was Johnny who not only had everything on point but did absolutely everything to make sure we felt welcome, the kids were entertained (with extra drawings and crayons requests) and all that while he was training another server.

The food was really good (so much so that we plan to come back soon), we had draft and cocktails and we just didn’t try dessert, but the ambiance was nice, wasn’t too full and is definitely a great location to come back to.“

Service is so friendly and communicates very well on ETA on food and expectations.
I got the shrimp stirfry udon and my wife got the crazy maki, both incredible.
The udon is fresh and flavorful, and has a generous amount of small shrimp throughout the dish, no tails!! A lot of similar places around here give you maybe 4-5 medium shrimp, tails on. This was perfect and exceeded expectations. I'm not sure why I can't find how to add the photo I took of it to my review, once I do I'll add it asap.
The crazy roll was perfectly wrapped and presented well even for a ToGo box, and was delicious as well.

Definitely regret not finding this place sooner. A new favorite for us ♡“

“Nino’s atmosphere is nice! Pretty casual, but a cute place! The chicken parm was DELICIOUS but the short rib tortellini was disappointing. This dish consisted mostly of tomatoes and broccoli with tortellini and short rib being the after thought- there was also not much flavor to the dish. Our server was nice and quite fast!“

“Easily our favorite Cuban restaurant in New England. (And my Mom was born in Cuba, so I am both intimately familiar with & very picky about good, authentic Cuban food!) The atmosphere is cozy with dim, soothing, easy-on-the-eyes lighting, high ceilings, and vintage “old Cuba” inspired artwork/ambiance. For apps: yuca frita, empanadas, croquetas de jamon are our go-tos. The ropa vieja & puerco asado are our favorite comfort food meals; if you’re doing apps, the meals are definitely big enough to share. Their mojitos are exceptional and refreshing with just enough mint. We’ve never had room for dessert, but one of these days, we’re dying to try the churros because they look to die for! All in all, we’ve been to Gustazo’s a few dozen times over the past six years, both for intimate date nights and also bigger gatherings like birthday/grad parties, and the food and service are always stellar. Grateful to have a Cuban gem like this in Massachusetts!“
