“We had a wonderful experience and have returned a few times. All of our dishes were tasty except for the ninebark salad. It was delicious although for the price they were extremely skimpy with the lettuce, and I finished my salad and watched everyone else enjoy their dishes. If you charge that price point for a salad I believe you should be generous with the foundation of the dish which is lettuce.“

“Extensive vegan menu, delicious for a date night! Vegan does not equal healthy so come expecting fried, salty, sugary (yummy!) food. I had the steak frites which was really delicious, and a side of cabbage slaw which I was on the fence about. The only word I can think of to describe the texture is “viscous”. Hubby got the blue plate special which was tamales. He wasn’t blown away. But of course the deserts at Veggie Galaxy more than make up for any disappointment about dinner! Never ever in my life I tried something like this before. There is so much flavor to explore in the noodles: the peanuts, the peanut butter, the mayo, the tofu, the spicy peppers… you don’t get the flavory-mixed paste covering everything, that would be homogeneous. But no, the ingredients come by themselves. And that’s the pure joy of vegetarian food: when made right, you don’t get repetition. You’d discover how rich in flavours those ingredients can be. I was hugely satisfied upon completing my meal. 100% recommended.“

“Food and service were outstanding (way better than a year or two ago). Ambiance is somehow slightly lacking. Could use a warm it up decor update but we had a great meal. All four in our group care a lot about good food and all agreed it was excellent. Don't be overly influenced by how much they suggest you order. We are hearty eaters and ordered considerably less than they suggested and felt it was perfect.“

“The food and drinks were excellent. 5:30 reservation right when they opened-probably wouldn't do that again. Everyone got sat at the same time and made for a long wait. Didnt get drinks until 5:52. Total dining time was 2 hours. Found street parking but I can see where this wouldn't be as possible during busier times of year. Bar is first come first serve and people start lining up around 4:30.“

I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. “Shu DaXia’s hotpot was a surprising hit and my friends actually prefer it to Liuyishou or Qiao Lin now. The main reason is that they offer a vegetarian version of the spicy Sichuan pepper broth, which the other places didn’t have, I really enjoyed the Shiitake chicken broth as well. The crispy fried pork appetizer was delicious, and I loved that the restaurant felt clean and had a coat check. It wasn't too crowded when we went, which made the whole experience even better.

“We hosted our small wedding reception here in a private room. It was so lovely- everyone had enjoyed the wedding but the food and atmosphere was really a lovely way to celebrate the event.
Tommer was incredibly responsive and helpful in selecting food and wine and explaining how the day would go. Rebecca was a helpful server and even brought out extras to the car at the end of the night.
Our families are still talking about the food, especially the bacon-wrapped plantains and the churros. We loved that instead of a wedding cake we had churros and the incredible chocolate sauce. The salads were delicious and I especially loved the tortilla Española.
My mom is planning to go back again very soon and my partner and I are excited to return for another meal. We would recommend this to anyone.“

The only downside is the waiting area. You are packed like sardines in line to place or pick up an order.
