“We just started ordering from Gold Chopsticks because my daughter recommended them. We’ve ordered delivery from them 3 times! Their food is really good compared to other Chinese restaurants. We ordered a PuPu and it was juicy and delicious. The egg rolls are larger and not dried out. The beef teriyaki was the best. The meat was thick and juicy and the sauce was not too salty or greasy. The same with the boneless pork that had no fattybits, not over cooked and not greasy. The meat was meaty and not dry. They delivered to us in Chicopee too despite the restaurant is in West Springfield.“

What caught my attention on this place was that everyone kept saying the rice was brown & not yellow, which is my preference because that’s what I grew up on. I ordered chicken fried rice & chicken and broccoli. I did not order the wings because I saw that they just fry the wings with no flour or anything to make it crispy which is what I prefer. When I got there I ordered a small order of chicken fingers to give them a try. Some places have too much batter and they’re soggy. I’m glad I tried theirs because they were perfect! Golden & crispy! “Went with my daughter and we got to plates and two sodas. Paid over $50 for food that was ok but not great. The service was fast but its really more of a take out place. We dined in and it felt like we were eating in their back pantry. The table was so wobbly we decided to make a game of it to see who could eat without spilling. Would not go back again.“

“I have been patronizing New King Yen for at least twenty years, and truly enjoy their food. It has been consistently delicious, and of quality. One of my favorite dishes is the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. I also enjoy their Wonton and Egg Drop Soups, and seasonal Shrimp and Asparagus. Yesterday I ordered a chicken chop suey. Talk about bland. The number one reason why businesses fail is because of their lack of consistency If you want keep customers, you need to be consistent. Not great one day and blah the next.
. The only downside to this restaurant is the look on the inside. It is not a sit and dine in place. Order and leave only. This is the small size Shrimp Chop Suey. Delish...a little smaller than most but it was cheap at about 7 dollars.“

“This is the finest Chinese restaurant, I’ve ever been to and it’s really underrated and people should come here more often and the prices are really good and you get good portions.
Food that is really popular is:
Pork fried rice; Lo Maine; Chicken wings; beef broccoli.
I’ve had tried these and they really hit the spot, really good and leave you wanting more.
On the other hand the only dish I didn’t like was the dumplings they were not Pleasant and very bland and too mushy but besides that everything is really good and always on point! (Keep it up!!)

“Every now and then I have a dining experience that moves me beyond words. I placed a a pickup order with New King Yen Too earlier this month. I arrived to retrieve my food and was so enraptured by the atmosphere of the restaurant that I asked, “Would it be permissible if I ate here?” I was granted this honor and allowed to choose my own table. Typically, a meal like this might last ten to fifteen minutes, but on this day I sat and savored my meal for hours, ordering additional food. Another culture’s story gradually unfolded with each new exotic dish that was prepared. As the night wore on and the smell of rare spices filled the air, I questioned this reality, finally giving in just as one would whilst riding a wild horse. Euphoria rose and receded in waves until my mortal attachments began to fall away. One singular thing remained: my love for Lorraine.

That morning I watched the sun rise. Sitting on the roof of my car, the rays of a new day carried with them an assurance I could not ignore and I knew, without a doubt, I was a changed man.

“Just like the Chinese restaurant experience I remember when I was a kid in the 1980s.
Friendly service, hot tea, crispy noodles with duck sauce and hot mustard. We went out for my mom's birthday. She ordered Pork LoMein, I ordered the vegetable fried rice which come without egg or butter (vegan friendly), tofu vegetable soup which was filled with fresh vegetables, and the fried tofu in creamy peanut sauce (also vegan friendly). Everything was excellent. We really enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend dining in or or take out.“

“An affordable family-run take out Chinese food.
I stopped by to pickup some Chinese food. Beef noodle for my kids and general Tsao’s combo for me.
Everything came out hot. The egg rolls took the longest. It was crunchy and I could tell it was home made.
The noodles was OK. It was a bit light on ingredients but at this price point, that’s fine.
General Tsao was interesting. Small pieces of chicken, individually thickly coated, and sauces generously. No broccoli but at this price, can’t ask for it. It had a nice crunch and flavor was good. It came in a smallish container but it was packed full of food.
They put in utensils I asked for along with sauces.
When I was there, bunch of kids were there and they were helping out. It’s nice to see family run shops. The woman taking order was super friendly and asked about my kids.
If you want an affordable and generously portioned meal, these guys are great.“

Everything tastes great - general t’s chicken is spicier than i remember or would prefer but that’s a me thing and they do advertise it as hot and spicy. Still sooo good. Id suggest grabbing a menu for discounts and perks. “I have been here a number of times and they have yet to disappoint me. This is solid, tasty take-out Chinese food, yet there are a few booths if you wish to dine in. Food is always prepared in a timely manner. They have great crab rangoon, beef satay, and I love their fried rice. The young women who answered the phone was so polite I was not mad at all that she had to put me on hold. I knew they were busy. We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious the crab ragoons were so yummy I wish we had ordered two large containers instead of one. The food was ready right when we picked it up and even though you could still tell they were busy the two people behind the counter had amazing attitudes.
