“These guys have been consistent throughout quarantine. Always prompt, always correct, always made well. I really appreciate this location. I've never bought from here before quarantine and now it's my go-to with 10+ options. They're also conveniently by Rt 95 so they can get to different places quickly.“

“This the small trendy neighborhood cafe that Brighton so desperately needed. Such a welcoming space that I always note is filled with coolest looking people. Went into today and found that it was the busiest id ever seen it, line to door, every seat filled and I have to say the staff was absolutely crushing it. Friendly and polite, hustling to get orders out but not seeming flustered in the slightest. I expected to have to wait a while for my sandwich and coffee based on the number of people in there but it surprisingly took less time than usual. Great spot and great service.“

“Tiny shop with big flavors!!! My oat milk matcha with strawberry was delicious, and I had a fluffy, rice-flour (gluten-free) chiffon cake filled with red beans and a topped with a matcha cream. Delicious!!!

They also have tiny cookie samples of their shortbread cookies.

There are two seats along a bar at the window.

The place is wholly accessible and local people post their businesses here so it has a very neighborhood feel to it!

I do think, friendly advice, that the pastries would be more visually appealing with a touch of color. Everything was brown.

Maybe include a few items that naturally have some color: berries in a muffin or scone, lemon bars, seven-layer bars, macrons, etc, or decorate the case with some fresh picked herbs or flowers.

It just…everything on the counter was brown. As a baker and former cafe owner, I saw possibility :-).

The matcha with almond milk was good. I definitely would add honey next time as it was very not sweet, but it was good.

The cake was sponge like, butter cream & strawberries were amazing. Just hands down the best cake & not too over priced either! “Went in to try their Banh Mi and came back the next day to try their pho! I got the BBQ banh mi and it was delicious! If you don’t like a spicy kick then i suggest not getting the jalapeños. The crispy rolls were a really nice side too. Came back the next day for the brisket pho and it was light, tasty, and the portion was just right. The service and the vibe were perfect too. Down to earth people and great instrumentals in the background. I don’t live around here but if i did i would come here all the time! On top of everything the prices are cheap“

“The place is a whole vibe . Super friendly I wanted to stay ! The chocolate is high caliber , pastries and coffee . Thus far , for the quality it’s reasonably priced. The great music is an added plus. The bathroom is super clean as well as the place as a whole . They have indoor seating . They have one seat outside as well . There is limited meter parking but it’s across from a whole lot of metered parking . It’s also in front of the Greenline , Newton center .“

Not to be dramatic, but their Pumpkin Spice Latte will change your life! Not the garbage 'pie spice' you get from other coffee shops, made with real pumpkin, this has a deep real-pumpkin flavor with a dash of pie spice making for the perfect fall beverage!

A friend had recommended it and I went in last Saturday and was so blown away, I met another friend there on Sunday! She is not a big pumpkin fan and even agreed how incredible this was! We both ordered avocado toast to go with it and that was delicious as well!

The staff here is so kind and helpful. We sat for a while and caught up and it was such a great vibe there.“

“This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite dessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I was truly surprised as I didn't just take a bite BUT finished the whole thing in less than a minute (once again, a pretty big feat for someone who doesn't prefer sweet treats). It wasn't overly sweet like normal donuts and the texture is far more delightful and chewy as much as it was moist. The flavors were potent and quite addicting. “I've been buying La Manita French Roast by the pound for years - it's so smooth I can drink it black. Since moving, I order online for delivery to Vermont, and they are always prompt and accurate with order fulfillment.“

“I have never been to Honey Dew before and I had a great first experience! I pulled up to the store at around 4:58pm not realizing that the store closed at 5:00pm because Antonio did not make me feel rushed at all. It wasn't until I got home and checked the receipt for the correct address to leave a review that I saw on the Google listing that this location closed at 5. I checked out at 4:59:19 PM ?. Antonio was so nice and made me the best Iced Chai Latte. I also ordered 5 Dew Drops so that I could try each type of donut. I have tried a couple so far and they are so good! (And I'm picky with my donuts).

“The decorative work on these pastries is 5 star. I tried the gluten free hazelnut chocolate cookie and did not like it. It was overwhelmingly cinnamon-y and the texture was like an oatmeal bar rather than a soft cookie. I also didn’t enjoy the vegan oat bar, which tasted overwhelmingly of coconut oil.

I DID enjoy the rooibos tea, which was a French tea brand I had never heard of: mariage freres.

It was a lovely subtle flavor, and the tea bags looked unbleached (though I did not verify that).

I would love to come back and try some of the not vegan or gluten free items, as my bakery impression was that things look amazing but have one controlling taste, but I know there was far more here than I tried.

Orders are always ready on time—*do* note that I exclusively mobile order—and the stuff tastes good (as it should), but what really sets it apart from other Dunkin's I've been at is that it has this really comfortable interior. Lots of tables. Some seat two people, whereas others—like the one in the pic—can seat a group of three or four. It feels cozy, but not in a "god, this place is small" way. Sometimes, I'll place an order, come collect it, and just eat in.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance area after you pass the first door is a ramp with a railing to grab on to. No steps, as far as I noticed—and the inner door at the top of the ramp is kept open. The outer door is closed; not sure how wheelchair accessible it is because there is no button (that I saw), but it has a door handle on the outside instead of a knob, and a bar handle on the inside for someone heading out, so people leaving with drinks in both hands don't have to pull. If you've got someone to open the outside door, you should be fine? (Disclaimer: I'm not a wheelchair expert.)“
