“This very small Dunkin location shares the building with a Mobil convenience store but it's still a full service Dunkies with the usual coffees and sandwiches and donuts. Tiny parking lot with only six or seven spaces,The shop is located on US-20 (Boston Post Road) just before the offramp to I-95. To access it from I-95 is supposed to require that you drive for a bit to make a U-turn but the guy in front of me was able to make the turn across the double yellow into the lot. I wouldn't recommend stopping to cross the traffic but if there's no one coming from the opposite direction, give it a shot.[Review 15208 overall, 710 of 2021, number 1071 in Massachusetts.]“
“If you're on the hunt for a hidden breakfast gem, this place is a must-try! Not only is the food delicious and visually appealing, but their extensive selection of flavorful teas and robust coffees is sure to impress any caffeine aficionado. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, making it a perfect spot to get some work done or simply enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. When it comes to the menu, you can't go wrong with the grilled cheese – it's a savory delight. And for those with a sweet tooth, the waffles with ice cream are an absolute must – truly to die for! Additionally, the pricing is perfect, making it an excellent value for such high-quality offerings.I highly recommend you check this place out; it's a real treat. My favorite new coffee spot.Parking: It's in the mall so there's plenty of parking“
“Undoubtably the best coffee I’ve had in Massachusetts. Jejes does NOT disappoint. If you are a coffee fanatic this place is a must visit… & soon that visit will turn into a regular trip. The natural flavors that come from the beans are top notch! Thanks so much for the great pour over & espresso!“
“The service is good could be better the main problem I had was when you ask for a breakfast taco and they give you a chicken now if under the breakfast taco it says between this time and this time then I would under stand but I ordered three orders of breakfast tacos and I got three chickens “
“this place is so wonderful, a cozy interior that you can meet the owner, Peter. he is so knowledgeable and kind, their coffee is outstanding and delicious. for food their tuna wrap is my go-to but i am going to have to try all their snacks!“
“weirdest thing to me is when food establishments don't have restrooms and glasser is one of them. A small place with limited seating, usually taken up by WFH or possibly students. The matcha rose latte i had was on the powdery side but with that being said, the flavor was still nice- not too floraly while still maintaining the green flavor profile of matcha.“
“Best banh mi I’ve ever tasted! We tried the shrimp and the fried chicken versions, both were very fresh with flavorful sauces. The bread had the perfect amount of crunchiness on the outside and soft butteriness inside. The ube taro boba tea and ube taro iced lattes were also phenomenal. This place is a real gem!“
“?☕ I was presently surprised by how delicious the iced latte here was. This is one of the best lattes I've had in a while. So far I've stopped at 7 coffee shops in the Boston area and this one had the best coffee. Update: stopped in one more time before heading out of town. Excellent.Hole in the wall third wave coffee shop, for taking your coffee in the go (but two stools remain if you want to take a seat). The espresso was a lighter roast with excellent notes. Fresh made pastries was very good as well. Blueberry lemon scone and banana bread are great.Vanilla lattes use simple syrup with some vanilla bean powder. Unique and great.“
“The muffins, other baked goods and empanadas are great. The atmosphere is very friendly and modern. Service is great. I had a hot chocolate and it tasted like a grocery store hot chocolate. That was disspointing. All in all, I would try this Cafe again.“
“I loved the vibe. Soooo much quieter and calmer and friendlier than a Starbucks or Dunkin, even though the place was filled with people coming in and out. Everyone spoke quieter. You could actually work here. Also, the food options were so creative, and the server got excited with me about experimenting, and we made a peach blossom lemonade, which was divine :-).I think one mark of a good cafe is how they let their customers enjoy and customize foods and drinks, and this place gets 5 stars!!!“
“First time here. I happened to be in the area and I just ordered a cappuccino and pastry. From that small order alone I was impressed. The quality of the cappuccino and the coffee is fantastic and exactly what is lacking in many places in the US.The pastry was pretty good. Not mind blowing but moist, not dry and stale like many coffee shops.Lastly, the ambience is great, South American music playing and vibe, reminding me of the ones I've visited in Peru. I'm so tired of every coffee shop here being over the top hipster, woke, virtue signaling wicked expensive place with mediocre quality. This place was modern and clean but exactly the right vibe for a coffeeshop.“
“This bakery is a gem! I stumbled upon it and was greeted by mouthwatering scents and friendly staff. Their chocolate croissant was heavenly, and the tart cake was pure perfection. Can't wait to return for more delightful treats! Highly recommend!“
“Cafe Fresh is amazing! I am obsessed with their bacon and egg sandwich. It’s so simple but so delicious. The way they cook the egg hits in such a good way. The staff is awesome as well! Yes, it’s chaotic but it’s an old school bagel shop. It gets busy, but in the end I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here.“
“We used Ovenbird Cafe for a catered private event in Belmont. The catering manager was super friendly and easy to work with. The servers they sent to our site were professional, friendly, and knew how to work such an event. The food was all high quality and delicious, and our guests raved about it too. Thank you, Ovenbird Cafe catering, for helping make our event a success.“

“This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite dessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I was truly surprised as I didn't just take a bite BUT finished the whole thing in less than a minute (once again, a pretty big feat for someone who doesn't prefer sweet treats). It wasn't overly sweet like normal donuts and the texture is far more delightful and chewy as much as it was moist. The flavors were potent and quite addicting. I know I will now be visiting quite a bit as the price is also really decent for what you get.Wishing you the best for the rest of the year and an even better 2024! Cheers!“
“Popular ice cream spot - first visit it was later in the evening 9pm Small waiting line - employees appeared busy. Plenty of happy faces sitting enjoying their cold treats of ice cream I don't often order a Sundae, this was that rare occasion. I ordered a grape-nut ice cream Sundae with chocolate fudge topping and this did not disappointment They offer small, medium and large portions Below is a medium- a small would be enough Go pay them a visit. I am positive that you will come back again ....“
“French Press Bakery & Cafe is an absolute gem that not only surpassed our expectations but left an indelible mark on our private event. We hosted a company cocktail hour-style gathering, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food at French Press is outrageously delicious. From meticulously crafted charcuterie boards to sumptuous salmon platters and delightful veggie assortments, every bite was a journey through flavor paradise. The dessert selection was equally impressive, providing a sweet crescendo to an already remarkable culinary experience. The curated menu, customized with the expertise of French Press Bakery & Cafe's owner Jay, showcased the commitment to meeting our specific needs and preferences. French Press recently underwent renovations, which has catapulted the establishment to the next level of sophistication. The glorious outdoor seating area is a testament to thoughtful design, offering a delightful atmosphere for patrons to savor their culinary delights during sunshine seasons. Whether you're seeking a quick coffee pitstop, a laid-back happy hour, a romantic date night, or a venue for private events, French Press has you covered. The ambiance seamlessly transitions from a bustling café to an intimate setting, making it a perfect choice for various occasions. Service at French Press Bakery & Cafe is nothing short of fantastic. The staff's attentiveness, coupled with their genuine enthusiasm for ensuring a delightful dining experience, adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the visit. Moreover, the prices are incredibly fair, providing excellent value for the quality and variety of offerings. All in all, French Press Bakery & Cafe is more than just a culinary destination; it's a haven for those seeking exceptional food, ambiance, and service. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or hosting a grand event, French Press is sure to leave you with a lasting impression of culinary excellence and hospitality.“
“A cozy spot where delicious food meets soulful tunes. Staff are always polite & friendly. Today, I had a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, a heavenly combo of flaky pastry, savory ham, and cheese. Washed it down with their cream brulee latte - pure perfection! A go-to hangout for a tasty treat & some good vibes. Oh & don't even get me started on the dessert selection.“
“I’ve tried a lot of bubble tea in the area, and this is by far the best. The tea quality is great (especially the Hong Kong milk tea - seriously delicious!), and they put plenty of boba (that is chewy and fresh!) in each order. The staff are also very kind and efficient, and if you order multiple teas, will pack them perfectly in a cute reusable bag with straws inside. My only other wish for this place is that I so wish they had matcha, which is my favorite flavor and go-to tea, but the quality here is so superior I’ve been willing to switch flavors most of the time to come here!“
“Had this marked on the map for a while and finally made it in during the Holidays. Loved it. Great coffee and pastries. Very busy every visit I made, and I made many. A bit frustrating at times but nothing to leave a lesser rating for. It just means we all share the same sentiment ?. If it’s too busy, grab a cup of coffee and walk the town! I bought some beans for home and I’ll be back for sure when I’m in town. Thank you!“
“Best cafe in Metro West! At least on the Gluten free side. Tons of GF pastries and the GF bread for the sandwich was superb! Bonus points for good non-dairy coffee options and for NOT charging extra for them!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pastries and bread“
“The Cutest Shop in ALL of Newton! the macarons are so pretty and so delicious Hirai was wonderful at explaining the flavors and she is incredibly kind! definitely check this place out it is so yummy! Best customer service and a very cute shop! a tad on the pricey side but the cookies make up for the price“
“There's a lot of hype around Lakon and I wasn't going to wait in line. Came around 3 pm on a Saturday and there was no line and several types of croissants left, I asked which the employee recommended and she said the crème brûlée. It was an investment for $8.50 although it was large. It looked great due to being completely covered with the shiny clear sugar shell that's on top of traditional brûlée (burnt sugar). It was stuffed with the crème and was so large and hard on the outside that it was not easy to take a bite of! I managed, and it was quite tasty but it was hard to really isolate the croissant itself and for that reason I'd recommend going with a more basic option ($4.50) Small shop with friendly employees.“
“Really good coffee, friendly service, and a very aesthetically well-decorated vibe. But one thing that really sets them apart is their active involvement in being a part of the community through supporting local non-profits and collaborating with local businesses to make their neighborhood a better place, a better community. Buy their Common Good Cup of coffee, and they will give you a choice in where a portion of the proceeds of that cup goes with one of their three spotlighted and always changing charities or non-profits detailed on their wall. Your morning coffee can do good.“
“Highly recommend the Blueberry and Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins! Get there early, muffins go fast!!Coffee is good with a bunch of flavors to choose from. Pastries look amazing and will be returning to try those.Only a few parking spots in back and limited seating available. Spot is mainly for takeout. Friendly staff as well. A great local spot for coffee and treats!“
“I have tried many of and love all their freshly-baked bread products. Breads (sourdough, whole wheat, challah and others), baguettes, and bagels. And they sell related products like maple syrup, etc.IMO one secret advantage they have is that they are a sourdough bakery. A co-owner told me during my last visit that not just their sourdough bread, but also their whole wheat, cinnamon swirl, and others are sourdough (no sourdough baguettes yet).FYI, sourdough bread acts as a prebiotic, which means that the fiber in the bread helps feed the “good” bacteria in your intestines. These bacteria are important for maintaining a stable, healthy digestive system. Sourdough is also lower in gluten than other forms of bread.“
“Debby's was fantastic! I just happened to be driving by and saw the little booth and had to see what it was all about. The coffee and sandwich did not disappoint. I will be dropping my kids off at camp for the week and no shame, probably stopping here every single day! Debby was so kind with the biggest smile on her face. Such a lovely experience!“
“Great little cafe. Always lively and cozy.Vegetarian options: They have vegan/plant based drinksDietary restrictions: They have vegan/plant based drink options for dairy free folksParking: Some paid some free parking and be prepared to walk a bit.Kid-friendliness: Yes; great cafe for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is“
“I have known the Hogans since they started this wonderful company, I like dark coffee and drink it black, no sugar. I have never tasted better coffee than HOGAN BROS COFFEE, all the different flavors I have tried were great, I have and will continue to tell anyone who will listen about this fantastic company and product. Thank you Jim and Jay Hogan“
“Stopped in Saturday morning for coffee and a treat. There was a lot going on and only a few places to sit but most people were getting things to go so it wasn't hard to snag a table. The seating area is cute but does get a little crowded when it's busy. I ordered a hot coffee and a lemon square. Both were delicious! The lemon square was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Will definitely be back but will probably get things to go next time!“
“This is one of my favorite cafe shopLove the astethics of this placeModeratly priced, good atmosphere and location.Free parking but you have to go in the plaza.Semi crowded when i went but didnt feel cramped actually felt really casual. Lpve tje book array, very tempted to read their collection.“
“schnitzel was food , may b just a tad dry , generic belgian waffle. actually came for the nutella croissant ???. pretty good tho i think i luv the nutella croissant (shape more like a cup) at common good coffee in waltham. got a box of different croissants: almond , cream , “
“Stopped by here to grab some sandwiches to go for my son and myself on a busy, activity packed Saturday. We got an Italian and a Roast Beef and Turkey on heroes. Very generous portions, packed with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Nice pickles and hot peppers too, upon request.Very satisfying sandwich. There were 3 families seated enjoying sandwiches and the sandwiches all looked delicious. The pastrami also smelled delicious. I have to go back there to try it next time. :)“
“One of the best coffee shops in the Boston area. My spouse loves their iced lavender latte. She likes that it’s floral and not candy sweet. Chai can be a little weak on the flavor-ask for extra chai concentrate and then it’s delightful. They use Oatly oatmilk, which is superior so oat milk drinkers will love it. Staff tend to be a little aloof, but they are responsive and will do right by you.“
“We had mochas, cafe chai lattes, croissants, sandwiches in this quaint historic building. Great ambiance, friendly baristas, and even enjoyed a lively chat with a local. He helped my HS Sr. Think critically about his college bound choices. No decision was made, but maybe one step along the way. Thank you to the stranger for helping!“
“SweetWaters might be a 5 Star but my first stop in I only got the Cappuccino and Pastry. The cappuccino was made much much better than any “Dunkin’s” makes them, right composition, persistent foam, pleasing flavor, including “barista design”on top, unusual for local neighborhood coffee shops (this place is a cut above “normal”, I’ll go back for “next level” coffee and see how they do. (Mocha cappuccino, then later their cold brew).Spacious classy interior, great for remote work or business meetings over coffee etc, I imagine ok for “coffee tea pastry dates”.My compliments to the Server, “Chris”.Parking: Metered parking in front. Idk if there’s other parking or lot nearby.“
“So happy to have a Tatte Bakery close by! I love this location and definitely think the acoustics are better vs other Tatte Bakeries. Higher ceilings and less noice bouncing around the walls.Of course in true Tatte fashion everyone is welcoming and attentive. Ordered Tuna Nicoise Salad and BLAT Sandwich. Our lattes couldve been better, but the location’s new, maybe the barista still getting a hang of things. Pastries are fresh, must come earlier for a Cheese Bureka!!What is unique in this location is they rolled out a sizeable supper menu from 5-9 PM. Will definitel be back to try!“
“Had a coffee desert and a quiche. Coffee was great and fairly priced, same with desert. The quiche was $11, thou! For one tiny slice! Definitely shouldn't cost that much. Cashier was a little cold, but they had just opened, so I'll give a pass. Atmosphere is great, I loved the decor. Checkout the art space in the rest of the space its some fun urban exploration.“
“FOR the TWISTED TREE in the DECORDOVA SCULPTURE MUSEUM: This is my favorite place in the world at the moment. I love the woman who works behind the counter. She is so cheerful and she winks and smiles at me. I also like the older man who makes and serves the food. It's a really nice atmosphere. I overheard the woman saying to someone some day, "I try to make every day a good day." I had been noticing that she really seems to do that. Can someone please tell the manager how awesome this team of two are?“
“Wicked Bagel is a must-visit for bagel lovers. With a wide variety of fresh, tasty bagels it's the perfect spot for a quick bite. The friendly staff and the warm bagels make every visit a pleasure. Don't miss out on this gem for your next breakfast adventure!“
“As a Waltham local, this is my favorite bubble tea shop in town. My go-to drinks are the Wintermelon Milk Tea with Herbal Jelly and the Coco Cream WOW Milk Cap. I tried their Almond and Taro Milk Teas, but they tasted too powdery for my liking. They have a BOGO deal on Wednesdays which makes coming here even sweeter!“
“Cozy European feel cafe with a fire place next to wellesley hills train station. Their caprese sandwich and refreshers are my favorite. Service can be hit or miss. Limited seatings. Parking is very very scarce, and going in and out is a nightmare.“
“We've been getting our whole beans from karma for grinding at home for almost 2 years. The products are great and the staff are very helpful guiding you on the different varieties. We've benefited from their recommendations multiple times. The shop is clean, everyone is nice, and we like the relaxed atmosphere.“
“Absolutely the best milk tea I've ever had, I always get two drinks because one isn't enough. The staff are always kind, friendly, respectful, and fast. I never find myself waiting too long and the drinks are always made perfect! I wish they'd put a Kung Fu Tea closer to where I live! It's excellent and I'm obsessed!!“
“LOVE the hummus and rainbow carrots, tomato soup, rosemary fries and cannot to try new things. Love the fresh seltzers and that there are choices from no sugar (rosemary lemon, yum!) to some sugared ones. The folks like Adam are really nice at this location!“
“I would consider myself a regular and that pretty much says it all. The menu is great, and the coffee selection is fantastic. The staff are friendly, warm and inviting and the owner Justin and his Jake are SUPER GREAT. Stop in, grab a coffee and bit to eat, and say hello.“
“It's a little coffee shop inside of the book store and it honestly feels quite quiant. Super friendly staff. The iced coffee tasted great and while it's something fairly simple, my toasted bagel was done just right. If I'm ever around the area again and looking for a coffee, Black Bear will definitely be where I head to.“
“Excellent breakfast and lunch fare with friendly and efficient service. I had a veggie egg white omelet, which was delicious. I couldn't resist the huge chocolate chip cookie. Huge portions allowed for leftovers. This establishment serves mostly takeout due to the small seating area. The inside is clean and welcoming.“
“Had a very nice breakfast at Heirloom today. The protein packed breakfast was quite delicious, the sausages in particular were really good. The coffee was incredibly tasty and simply heaven. I’m sure I’ll go back again for some coffee no matter what! Good place.“
