“It was our first time there on a rainy day last week. We always see it so busy so we decided to see what the hype was. Cute environment service was decent food was absolutely disappointing, ordered buffalo Mac and cheese it was so watery and tasteless I decided not to complain or send it back. When we were ready to leave the older waitress asks me if I wanted a box. I declined politely and was then asked if I was full???? Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. You can tell it’s all locals that rant there!“

“Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. There's a sign for an upcoming meat raffle but our fries came with a garlic Parmesan sprinkle - great vibe that didn't take itself too seriously. it was nice to see a decent mix of people for a suburban New England town. Super welcoming atmosphere, and we will definitely be back! Easy to get to from city, only 2 exits down 24. there's a cute patio with bistro lights. My only critiques - 1. they serve crinkle cut fries. by choice, I'm assuming? And 2. If you're sober and hate Pepsi products, you're out of luck. Next time I'll sneak a flask of Coke Zero in my purse.“

“Very good. I chose the smoked pork belly burger with upgrade to side salad. The burger was delish with just enough heat to give it a kick. Salad was fresh and ample portion. My dining companion chose the short rib toastie with side of fries. He deemed it very good. Nice beverage selection. Beverages properly chilled. Very good service. I will be back. Highly recommend.“

“I like this place. Food and service are great. Their Hall of Fame reuben is awesome. But the high top tables in the bar are perpetually sticky, for years now. Your paper drink napkins literally stick to the table. The waiter told us a long time ago it was a problem with the stain on the tables. But come on... I could fix that in an afternoon. It's a gross feeling. What are you waiting for??? Otherwise, this place is great.“
