“We went during Baltimore Restaurant week. It was our first time there but not the last. The food was so good. Our server, Dominique, was very professional and provided recommendations which were on point. We got to meet Chef Amy, which was a nice surprise.“

“I love the ambiance of this place. I went for a date night and it was the perfect romantic vibe for our dinner. The staff was attentive and our food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I wish the drink menu was a little more elevated and then I would've been truly impressed. Chef brought our food to the table and we also got to meet the manager for a moment who checked in on us, it was nice to feel taken care of. I plan to come back.“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“I happened to drive by and see people sitting outside eating. It looked like a great place to stop. I went by myself. I was able to find free parking right outside the restaurant. The menu I was looking at was mostly breakfast and brunch. The price range was about $15 on up. I got a gingerale and their house wings as well as fries. Everything was good.. My bill was $21. The waitress was very attentive and nice and gave recommendations. I would recommend checking this place out. It had a nice atmosphere.“

“This has been our go to spot for over 10 years now in Hamden! Great for comfort, food or brunch and always a fun atmosphere. The service has gotten so much better over the years and everyone there is incredibly sweet and friendly. I love that they keep good staples on the menu, but are always trying to reinvent New dishes to complement the old standbys. And even though prices have raised at most other places, this place still remains incredibly affordable.“

“Cute little spot (little being the key word). Drinks were great, I got a cocktail and my friend got the cappuccino. The coffee was one of the best she has had and my cocktail was nice. The food was delicious, they specialize in biscuits and you definitely have to try them. The table next to us got the monkey bread and it looked to die for, will definitely be ordering that next time. Service was a little slow but I think that had to do with the layout of the space and how new the place is. They are still trying to figure out their groove.

Parking: You need to be able to parallel park to drive here.“

After being greeted by a friendly hostess at the door, we were seated immediately, walking into a cute rustic ambience surrounded by quirky art! We were served within 15mins of ordering with our dishes served with beautiful plating and even more delicious food. Highly recommend the breakfast potatoes and the pancakes! Food: I ordered the fried chicken, biscuit & gravy omelet, and thought it tasted amazing. The gravy added a rich, savory taste to the omelet. Very delicious meal and I recommend.

Service: The service was very slow this day, which is why I’m giving it 4/5. We were told a 10 minute wait but instead got seated 20 minutes later. Even ordering food and waiting for our food took awhile. We hoped for better and quicker service overall.

Atmosphere: The ambiance/atmosphere was pleasant, but very packed.The tables were so close to each other, it’s impossible to not bump into other people and tables when getting out.

Overall, based on the food I recommend.“

I got the White Truffle Lamb Cheesesteak. 1st my old man rant, I can’t believe what people are paying for craft beer/food. ‘Do you want sweet potato fries with that?’ Implied fries come with the cheesesteak. Back to our regularly scheduled review. I love what is going on down on the Baltimore Peninsula. I saw ‘Baltimore Peninsula’ painted on the side of a building so I assumed they were talking about the area I was in. Fun place, good crowd and good energy. The description of the WTL cheesesteak sounded very good. It did not pass the eye test. I expected the roll to be sub (philly) par and it was. It didn’t look good but it tasted amazing. All the parts worked very well together. The sweet potato fries were probably worth the extra $2.50. $20 for the WTL Cheesesteak, $2.50 for fries and $8.75 for a draft. If you follow me you know I am not a fan of these prices. With that said, I will be back to try the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Mac & Beer Cheese w/crumbled bacon. The bartender was pleasant and professional.“

“I ordered red velvet pancakes. It was HORRIBLE. It was room temperature. That white stuff in top had a fancy name, but it tasted like like cool whip. Cold cool whip on top of room temperature "pancakes". These were so dry, it tasted like half eaten bread you left out on the counter over night. You know how it's kinda hardened. Then the syrup...I can't do Log Cabin & stuff. Plz invest in pure maple syrup. I'll pay more too. That generic diabetes stuff is too artificially sweet....plus it was cold too. I definitely sent that cute looking but awfully executed mess back. I got spinach with egg & cheese on a croissant that was very good. Their breakfast potatoes were dynamite!

“First time ordering from here JIST 4-5 hours ago. I saw sooo many good reviews I had to try it. I ordered (delivery) their jerk chicken panini, and jerk chicken Rasta pasta. MAN… the pasta is sooo good!! The panini was also delicious, even though the panini pressed grilled bread had steamed inside its wrapper and lost its crispiness.. it was great. Wasn’t soggy just had lost its crunchiness where the grill marks are. I can’t wait to try their chicken pot pie and jerk chicken platter! “You have limited choices in Terminal E while waiting on an international flight. The place isn’t large so seating at peak hours is a problem. However, they do pack your food to go. You order at the bar and pay, then they will call you number when your food is ready. The bartender will give you your drinks after you order/pay. I thought the bar was well stocked and the food selection wasn’t great, but it wasn’t too bad. My food tasted okay - it’s bar food at a very busy airport. You’re not going to get anything fancy and you can make a gluten free meal out of what’s on the menu, if necessary. This is a good choice if you’re hungry just manage your expectations.“
