“We went to Koco’s today and it dawned on me, there is a bar that has all different types of people. There are Liberals, Conservatives, whites, blacks, Asians, gay, and straight people. For the time that we are in there, none of that matters. We are just people with no labels. We are people that come to this place to celebrate the best damn crab cake in the state. Sure, our bill is usually over $150.00 but, while we are in there, politics, race, and class mean absolutely nothing. To me, the food is second. What comes first is the atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience. I would just like to thank this place for pulling all of this off. I live about 90 minutes from Koco’s and it is always a pleasure to get in the car and drive down 83 for an awesome dining experience.“
“In my opinion one of the greatest bars in America! High quality live music every single night of the week since the 1970s I believe … that’s gotta be a record. Everyone in this place is chilled. In my opinion a must destination for any visitor and newcomers in Baltimore !“

“I've been going to Mahaffey's since 2010, at least. It's small but cozy in this establishment with a huge bar on one wall, high top tables opposite, and some regular tables and chairs in the back. What stands out to me about Mahaffey's is their solid craft beer options. It's been like this since I've been a patron, which is great. I love the consistency. The food here is good, despite there not being much space for a kitchen and cooking. Staff has always been attentive and friendly. Nothing not to like here (except Mahaffey's is in Canton and I live in Pigtown and thus don't visit as often as I'd like).“

“Great place in Riverside neighborhood to meet with friends for pizza and whiskey. Barflys has the best pizza that I have tried in Baltimore. The whiskey selection is great; however, the beer selection and other cocktails is limited—they focus on the whiskey. Service is good, the kind of service you get at your neighborhood bar.My favorite is the meat pizza, but you can build your own.“

“Delia Foley's has trivia on Wednesdays upstairs. We sat downstairs. Service is not bad. Sometimes a little slow, not knowing where the server went but it's probably because they are serving both upstairs and downstairs. The wings are good. Not totally drenched in sauce but we'll covered. Many of their sauces are a variation on their buffalo sauce. The cheeseburger egg rolls were really tasty. I really liked the sauce with them, a variation of thousand Island sauce I think. I'm always a little surprised with how expensive 10 wings can be, but I think it's in align with most places. The wings are listed as MP on the menu. It was about $16 for one order of wings of 10. They have music playing and general vibes are of a bar/tavern. Overall, chill vibes. Good food. Certainly plan on returning.“

“Great Bar food! Shared the rhino chasers which never disappoint. We both got wings. My son got shottis sauce which were very good. I got the garlic Parmesan of which were tasty but holy garlic. Both wings were cooked perfect. Sever/bartender was great and very friendly. Ambiance is that of a Baltimore row home bar. Very time.“

“First time my brother and I were here for St. Patrick's Day. The place was really busy, but the servers, bar tenders, and the rest of the staff were awesome. Someone was always available to take an order, clear plates, or come by to check if we needed anything. I ordered their calamari appetizer, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and bread, and my brother ordered their bangers sandwich. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed for a while, and for the start of a live band, they had in for St. Patrick's Day. I definitely recommend checking this pub out if you are in the area.“

“We used to come here a lot for brunch. We decided to return to see if it was as excellent as it had always been, and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. They made a point to celebrate my little brother's birthday by putting a candle in his french toast. it was my first time getting items that are considered lunch fare and I enjoyed them. Immensely the wings were tender and sauced perfectly. The Caesar salad was pre-dressed. The dressing was tasty. I'm excited to return to enjoy my traditional brunch items the mimosas do not disappoint.“

“We had the privilege of attending the 'I used to be Irish' Poe house fundraiser tonight at the Annabel Lee Tavern and we were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the entire experience. The drinks were excellent and plentiful, the food was delicious and I cannot even begin to wax poetic about the staff. We never had to wait longer than a few moments, we felt well taken care of and they really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the experience.“
“Quaint, quirky, wonderful. A tiny bar with an unreal selection of single malt Scotch (and other things if Scotch isn’t your thing), a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, knowledgeable service. From the color-coded spreadsheet menu with maps to the rare and hard-to-find bottles to the lovely owner being able immediately recommend options, this is a Scotch lover’s paradise. The free snack sized bag of Cool Ranch Doritos was a nice bonus. You must visit this place before it’s gone.“

“I got off the bus on my way to go to JimmyThe Boxer. A guys was standing on the patio and I asked was the food good here. He replied yes and if you like tacos, try the shrimp or steak tacos, they are really good. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Amaretto Sour. The total was less than $20. The drink was awesome, and the shrimp tacos.........whew. Did my spirit good. Food and service definitely will have me coming back! I forgot to take pic of the drink but included the tacos.?“

“This place is a great neighborhood place. It's so laid back, and the owners really care about their customers. They have AMAZING burgers, and they started doing brunch on Sundays. Which is to die for. They always have such a great time while I'm here.“
“We were in from Cleveland of memorial day weekend and part of the week. This place became our favorite hangout, was only about a 5min walk from where we were staying.Great neighborhood dive bar, friendly bartenders & patrons & and overall great atmosphere. Wish we could've moved the place back to Cleveland with us. It will definitely be our hangout again the next time we're in town.“

“Really excellent burgers! Keep wanting to try something else, but the burgers are amazing. Saturdays are old guy DJ night. The music is excellent but 100% too loud. It could be a nice atmosphere, but I'm trying to have a casual bite at a place geared to a mature crowd and have to pretend that I'm standing next to the speakers at a concert in 1999. Bring an appetite, ear plugs, and don't bring friends that you want to talk to.“

I had my cards stolen while helping out less fortunate people and he let me pay via venmo which was nice for the circumstance.Friendly atmosphere, good friendly crowd, and fair prices overall. Try their growlers they are great and one of the better family owned spots in Fed“

“Excellent little bar. Didn’t try the food but my friend liked the crab cake. 32oz natty Bo’s were the best value. Bartenders were super friendly and struck up conversation. Would come back next time I pass through Baltimore. Better than all the chain bars by the waterfront,“

“This place is so much fun; the food is fabulous, the service is excellent, and the bar menu is great, too. Soccer fans make it rowdy when premier league games are on, which is a blastKid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with food that’s actually good“
“My wife and I went there on our anniversary purely by d*** luck. I was looking for a place that served Yuengling Lager, wish was a little harder than I expected tbh! But we stumbled upon this place with cold Lagers and air conditioning considering it was over 97 degrees that day! We came in and were treated like family right from the start. Not to mention it was but 1 get 1!!!“
“When in Fell’s Point, it’s always a good thought to take a moment to visit an area icon, ‘Lil Phil’ . . . the only Michigan State bar in the Baltimore area owned by a MSU graduate . . . indeed privileged that my Spartan Football wristband has been enshrined amongst his treasured memorabilia . . . #gogreen #gowhite #spartanswill #B1G #lilphil“

“Steve, you are an absolute legend and godsend. This place is top priority on our visits. We were so lucky the first time in Fell's Point to have two women tell us "you NEED to go down there and have a drink." Best advice ever given. Steve even remembered me months after our first trip. Don't get upset with how long it takes for your drink to get made. Absolute perfection and well worth the time and money. Old fashioned and whiskey sours go down so smooth. Any time we travel there... "Let's go see Steve!" Keep him there. He makes that place.“
