“The food and price were hard to believe. My background is Vietnamese so my expectations were low to begin but they definitely win for value and the quality they give at that price. Highly recommend for no frills decent Viet food at unbeatable prices.“

“Honestly might be my favorite restaurant in Baltimore - top quality Vietnamese food that is always delicious and super comforting when it’s chilly or I’m not feeling great. The veggie broth pho is great for vegetarians, definitely a super flavorful and satisfying veggie broth! Pho toppings are always fresh and high quality. I also like the fried tofu vermicelli bowl“

“Very very basic. Nothing interesting as far as flavors. Barely any chicken and a TON of noodles. Only taste is sweet. Disappointed and won’t return“

“I always come here to eat my pho! It's a classic family owned shop and relatively informal, so don't be surprised to hear some shouting 😂 but it's a sign the place has good food!
My suggestions are: pho #1 and traditional banhmi! Although all of their pho and banhmi are great 🤗“

“I went to Pho Saigon Hanoi today with a friend. I LOVE this place. Tucked away in Carney Village next to Weiss Market. WOW. Looks like a typical eat-in take-out Asian eatery, but looks can be deceiving. Not just the quantity but the quality of the food is top notch!! Pho was ready in a flash but tastes like it simmered all day long. The rare steak was sliced thin and cooked in the delicious broth. The meatballs were not the typical frozen ones but were authentic and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place for a change of pace, then you will be hooked. 5 STARS from me, I will be returning with friends.“

“Went there while not feeling so well, around 2pm. It wasn’t really busy, the vibe inside is very homey and warm. It kinda feels like a family run place. The older lady at the desk was very sweet and welcoming and ordering was fairly easy. I got seafood pho and the #25 on the menu. I was sick but I could still taste the flavor. Solid bowl of pho, I will come back.“

“My overall experience was, I would say OK. I ordered the steak and meatball Pho & Summer rolls with peanut sauce. The pho broth was delicious I only use the noodles and sprouts, which was plentiful and delicious. The summer rolls were rather on the small side. I was not used to having pork in my summer rolls so that was a little bit of a turn off for me personally. The peanuts sauce seem to be a little on the salty side. But overall I would definitely recommend for a very wonderful experience inside and out restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly. It literally only took seven minutes to get my takeout order. He said 10 to 15 and it wasn’t even that long. My third Vietnamese restaurant to try my area so far- my second best.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Hangover Cure I Didn’t Know I Needed 🍜🔥
Whew, let me tell you, this bowl of Pho brought me back to life! After a night of a little too much fun 🍹, I woke up with a ruthless hangover and knew I needed something restorative. Enter this small, quaint, and beautifully authentic Vietnamese spot that felt like a hug from the inside out.
The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the calming scent of burning incense (one of my favorite things) and surrounded by the warmth of Vietnamese culture: altars, food offerings, and little touches that made the space feel sacred and alive. You could tell this place wasn’t just serving food; it was serving heart.
I ordered the Pho with steak & flank (large, because… hangover) and it was everything. The broth was rich, the meat tender, and the portion generous enough to feed both my body and my spirit. The staff was kind. Customer service started off standard, but when I asked about the difference between the meats I ordered in my Pho, one of the servers came back with a full, thoughtful explanation. It was clear they cared about both the food and the people eating it.
They had all the classic fixings! Basil, lime, bean sprouts, jalapeños… the works. I also tried the summer rolls, which were tasty (not mind-blowing, but solid), and I loved that they gave a spoon with the peanut sauce. It’s the little details that make a dining experience memorable!
By the time I left, the place was packed, and I could see why. It’s cozy, comforting, and brimming with authenticity. Whether you’re nursing a hangover or just craving something soul-soothing, this spot delivers.

“Very diverse menu. Not memorable but serviceable for sure. Had ramen, pho Bo vien, pork buns, pork dumplings and ok but not spectacular. Noodles overcooked on pho, dumplings too thick dough, etc etc etc. the atmosphere has so much other than restaurant atmosphere going on. Too cluttered.“

“We found the Buttonwood by accident but are so glad we did! Across SS from the Walters Art Museum, the food and service was excellent. We had lunch on a super hot day in Baltimore. the Buttonwood was cool and relaxed. Prices were excellent. The beef bulgogi sandwich was tasty!“
