“This is the best Chinese takeout we have found in the area - we drive here from Waldorf to pick it up because it really is better than any other place we have found. The only one that comes close is Hunan Star in La Plata but this is still preferred. My husband loves their General Tso chicken and I'm a big fan of their Egg Foo Young. Portion sizes are large so we always have leftovers! Worth the drive to Manokeek!“

“Me and my boyfriend come to this Chinese place every time we are in Maryland. We have been nothing but please when it comes to there food and service prices are fine. I guess cuz we live in Virginia prices are a lot higher out there than they are in Maryland so their prices is okay with us. We normally just order the usual 6 piece fried chicken fried hard with your fried or shrimp fried rice and their cheese steak egg rolls are the best can't go wrong.“

“I've ordered from here several times, and while my first delivery experience wasn’t great—it took over an hour—the pick-up service has been outstanding ever since. Their wonton soup, crab rangoon, and General Tso's chicken are my absolute favorites, and they never disappoint. Every time, the food is fresh, hot, and delicious!
I’ll admit, I’m usually a little hesitant about places on Richmond Highway, but this spot is truly a hidden gem. The inside is small and cozy, though it’s a bit dim for my taste. That said, the amazing customer service completely makes up for it. I don’t mind stopping by to pick up my orders because they’re always accurate and ready to go. “I ordered for delivery from their website and was pleasantly surprised. The driver was their own staff and not a third party so that’s a plus. The driver was nice. It took about an hour for delivery which the website did give me a fair warning. The food was hot and fresh. The eggplant with garlic sauce was my favorite. The chicken cashew was good too. The fried rice and lomein were tasty. Nothing was too salty which was good since some places make everything overly salty. Overall, good food and good portions.“

“The tasty food is one thing BUT one thing which stood out for me is their great customer service. Jane and her other colleague were all smiles, kind and attentive. You can tell they love the job that they do. This is the kind of service you wanna comeback for more. I also appreciate that they're wearing a transparent mouth shield as it looks more neat than a regular mask. They offer free soup and coffee on top of your regular order which is great since it's winter around this time. If you get your chicken hot and fresh it's CRISPY and nothing has ever come close to how good it is. The lady who helps you when you pick up a carry-out order is so sweet. Please tip her!! If you like General Tsos but want to branch out, get the sesame beef. It's my favorite dish. Panda Xpress' crab rangoons do not stand a CHANCE against Golden Star's cheese wontons. “We usually stop by when we are traveling from out of town. We always get the Hot & Sour Soup which is usually Hot & Spicy great with the fried won tons. They use prepackaged won tons now which are better. The Singapore Noodles are always delicious with plenty of Curry, Shrimp & Chicken. The Pork or Chicken Moo Shu are both very good. You get 4 pancakes so ask for extra pancakes because there is plenty of ingredients. It comes with a pint of rice so very filling and plum sauce! They deliver as well. We usually call in when we are 10 minutes away and pick up right away when we get there. The steak subs are very good as well as the wings. You get the whole wing here not a drumette or the other piece so when it says 3 wings you get 3 whole wings which is 6 pieces plus 3 points at the other places.“

1. Hot and Sour soup; it is a vegetarian style hot and sour soup with clean ingredients made to order. Each soup is freshly made not like some other places when they have a big pot of day old hot and sour who knows what's in it type.
2. The Singapore style Mai Fun with shrimp and chicken is also very good even though a little moist for my tastes but the fresh ingredients wins my tummy over.
3. French fries- it is greasy and crunchy as French fries should be.
