“This hidden gem is a MUST visit!! I landed here twice in the same week. I went to a birthday dinner with family and friends. The owners ordinarily would not have accepted a reservation from our size group (about 17 ppl) at the last minute bc they were short staffed however, they welcomed us with open arms, warm hearts, excellent food, and great service. There were only four employees on duty this day, the owner, the manager, the cook, and a server (his first job and first day)🤦🏾. The way we were treated, you wouldn't believe that it was his first job, or first day! He was nervous but very thorough 😃 The manager and owner came out, had great conversations all while assisting with food orders. The food arrived to the tables steaming hot. It was well-seasoned, and very flavorful... just delicious. After our meal, we met the cook. Unbeknownst to us, he was only 26 years old🤦🏾 His food tasted like our southern grandmother's were in the kitchen. The fish, chicken, greens, pork chops, sweet potatoes made your mouth water. I'm tasting the flavors as I type this review😋😋. I might have to ride out today for lunch😃“

“I tried the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper wings… and WOW! It was genuinely fabulous. The wings were so flavorful, extremely tender, and ferociously enjoyable. I have no complaints! I will most definitely come back and try ALL their flavors. Kudos to them!❤️“

“keep in mind that the lobster roll is a warm butter, connecticut style roll which was SUPER disappointing when I had the expectations set that it would be a nice cold roll with some warm butter drizzled or added to the side.

oysters were delicious and flavorful, but pretty small in size. menu was pretty pricy for the amount of food given. I will say, although I was disappointed in the lobster roll, the amount of lobster that they give was very satisfying- they pack the roll with a ton of meat.

“This was my first time and I went with a friend of mine visiting from Philly. We went for brunch or early lunch. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Food arrived fast and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the seared shrimp tacos, moist and tasty-yum, my friend had the market fish sandwich for that day, he absolutely loved it and he doesn't usually eat fish lol.“

“Today was my first time in S&S. Very clean when I entered. Everything was easy to read. They showed me the food and I ordered the Turkey Wings, green beans and sweet potatoes. I literally discovered one of very favorite bourbons here, Jefferson’s Ocean! The selections range from your basic line up, interesting new finds and hard to get must try’s. The man behind this whiskey magic is Edward, the bartender/manager. Edward is knowledgeable and loves to talk about his offerings, so don’t be shy, ask questions and be prepared to learn a little something! We have enjoyed everything from their brunch offerings, seafood and burgers! Wine to whiskey and everything in between and have never been disappointed! We recently moved, and now have to brave 45 minutes of Beltway traffic (and that’s on a good day as we all know..lol) to get to this spot. So if you good food, attentive service and an amazing selection of whiskey are your thing, trust me when I tell you this is the place for you!“

“So, I love me some fish! I was craving fish today and decided to give Seafood Shanty a visit since I was in the area. I had not been in quite some time, so I was not sure what to expect. Guys, I am horrible with taking pictures, but the fish smelled so delightful I had to try a piece while driving 😉. I was quite satisfied that the fish (trout) was very fresh, not overly seasoned or salty, and very delicious. I ordered the shrimp and fish platter for $15.99, which included 3 pieces of decent size filets, I believe it has 5 or 6 pieces of medium-sized shrimp, fries, and coleslaw. The fries were good, and the coleslaw was just okay. The customer service was friendly, and my food was served with smiles and thank yous. Needles to say I will be back for fish Friday and will take pictures!“

“Can I say EXCELLENT! We searched for dinner options on Saturday night and found SPs Cuisine through Google. I called to ask questions and the customer service was impeccable. I had a large order (10) and was understandably nervous, but the person on the phone was patient and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations.
