“What a find. Lots of good bakeries but this place is elite. There’s always a line out the door as there are specific times in the day the breads will be baked. Check their website for details. Otherwise you very well could end up getting there when no inventory is left. This place is awesome.“

“We were looking for a place to stop to eat on the way home from DC. So happy we found Bon Fresco! We got the London Broil sandwich and the Fresh Mozz and Tomato sandwich. Both were fantastic! We ate them so fast we forgot to take pictures! The bread was perfect. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. If we weren't full we could have eaten multiple of each. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and pleasant. There are plenty of tables to sit down and eat and the ambiance was that of a deli. We loved it! If we are ever back in Columbia, MD we will definitely hit up Bon Fresco again!!“

“One of the best coffee spots in Fed Hill. The coffee quality is excellent and it's always fun to see if you get your color right. Service is excellent and always friendly. Inside is nice and they also have some outdoor seating. They always have the cutest seasonal options and the pastries are great to snack on. I recently tried their Cinnabun syrup in my coffee and it was a game changer. Be sure to check them out if you're around!“

“Vegetarian options: Stopped in to get Easter dinner for my sister and nephew who are both vegan. I purchased crabcakes, spinach, and mushroom tarts, kale, Caesar salad, and several desserts. They raved about everything. My nephew kept saying how delicious it was.“

“I had no idea what we were in for. What a pleasant surprise! You know it's an exceptional spot when there is a swarm of people continuously going in and out--nonstop. Busy, busy, busy! When you walk in you are serenaded with easy acoustic music and your nose goes in overdrive due to the numerous sweet aromas--chai, espresso, cakes, breads and pastries. The back and right sides are areas deemed for sitting, gathering, studying and...eating! The cash wrap is in the middle section and the items for sale are on the left. There is NO direction or signs on how or what to do when you get in so I figured I'd make my review a bit of a guide: If you're here solely for picking up an order, making a custom order, grabbing a slice of cake or for coffee, you can go straight to the cash wrap. If you are here for pastries (etc.), you'll start on the left. This area is self-serve. Grab a tray, a tray liner and OPEN the little disinfectant oven container to grab a pair of tongs. Brace yourself. You are now ready to turn around into the abyss of desserts. DON'T THINK ABOUT CALORIES. DON'T THINK ABOUT BEING JUDGED FOR ADDING 100 TREATS TO YOUR TRAY. TREAT YO'SELF. Along the wall are breads, coffee beans, and other bagged items. The containers in the middle of the section contains all the freshly made items which you can open yourself and use your tongs to place them on your tray. Each item has a display card that includes ingredients and calorie information. If you want to remember what you selected, take a picture because the packaging is not English. *In addition to the pastries, there are cakes and cake pieces--cake pieces are only available until they last--you MUST try one. Cakes is what Tous Les Jours excels at. The cake section is on the left side of the cash wrap. If you want cake, you'll order it at the cash wrap. I tried the sweet potato pastry (5/5), the melon bread (2/5), strawberry shortcake (2/5), chai tea (3/5), milk crème bread (5/5), strawberry yogurt cake (5/5). It is officially my favorite bakery.“

“Sarah made a half sheet cake for my son’s graduation party and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious! We ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling and a buttercream icing and everyone at the party LOVED it! I gave her free reign on the decorations and she did a great job, especially free handing the college mascot. “What a find! When in Baltimore’s Little Italy be sure to stop in at the Ovenbird Bakery! They are super friendly & helpful and their bread is delicious! I’d recommend the olive sourdough bread. I’ve been toasting mine and eating it with a variety of toppings. Yum!They have sandwiches and other bread choices... Be aware that the deli closes at 3:00 and that discounts on some purchases occur after 2:00. There is also “day old” bread that you can purchase. If it isn’t sold, they donate it. Isn’t that wonderful?! I myself, love to make homemade croutons or bruschetta.Street parking availability depends on the day & time.I’d suggest making a day of your visit to Little Italy.Parking: Free street parking during the day not far from the bakery.“

“Great price for some good pastries. I liked the passion fruit and the ham and cheese (although I wish it was a bit heavier on the cheese) the most. The rest of the pastries purchased were good, but nothing that was fantastic. Overall, they do a good job just not something I would cross the city for. But if I lived closer, I'd visit agin.“

“This must be a popular place as two different Baltimore friends have brought me here. The first time, we came in the late afternoon and almost everything was out. This time, we got here earlier. I was told to get the quesadillas! Interestingly, they were nothing like quesadillas. They seemed like little circular corn muffins with some cheese. They were very moist and delicious. I never leave a bakery with just one type of item. The cronuts were good. They were a little sweeter than I would like. What stole the show was the cream puff. It's hard to make bad cream puffs. I appreciated that the cream was not too sweet at all.“

“I've bought bread made by the Breadery at other markets, but Friday was the first time I ever made it into the shop. The place is a carb lover's dream. It's one of those spots that invites you to roam and look at the coffee, the olive oil or even a six-pack of local beer. The real star though is the bread of course. Simply put, their sourdough is the best I've ever had. It's a perfectly chewy, slightly salty bread that is perfect for every application. Their cinnamon swirl bread is much loved by the kids at home for its French toast qualities. It's one of those places that makes you want to try everything and makes you realize how awful our store bought, mass produced sandwich bread really is.“

“I LOVE Codetta Bake Shop and everything about them. I have been ordering a cheesecake from Sumayyah for the last couple of years because my little sister specifically requests it every time she visits me from out of town. It is so so rich and delicious. This year, Sumayyah was so kind and delivered the cheesecake to me in a pinch which was so helpful. Highly recommend picking up some baked goods from Codetta for any occasion. Also- if her annual cookout comes around again this summer- DO NOT MISS IT! It was fantastic!“

The mini Chicken Pot Pie was super good, very savory stuffed with fresh herbs! My partner tried the carne asada pie which he crushed(I assume it was great!) I have tried a regular latte which was pretty good, but the pies are definitely the best thing here! Highly recommend if you're in the area! It's a small cozy spot, so make sure to come early if you wanna grab a table (they can probably seat about 12-15 people inside). They even have a little freezer for pies to go!“

“Major props for treating gluten free bread as the half-sized slices they are. This is the first place I've been to that spreads the sandwich contents across two small sandwiches. Every other place either attempts to stuff the insides onto puny slices (rarely) or more likely, simply gives you less. In those places, not only are you paying through the nose for GF bread, but you then get less food for the privilege. NOT SO at Atwater's.
