When you walk into the store you're greeted by the delicious smell of baked bread and the welcoming smiles of it's owners Maya Muñoz and Russell Trimmer . They have always gone out of their way to only bake with the finest and freshest ingredients often from locally sourced farms. My husband and I have also found that they are able to create such new and imaginative delicacies that are always too tempting to pass up! In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.“

We have tried other Greek places in Baltimore, but nothing as authentic as Estiatorio. We had a fresh, healthy, and overall fantastic brunch. I never thought I would like beets, but they somehow made a beet salad taste phenomenal. Flavors are simple, but thoughtfully combined. “I ordered a cake for a bridal shower. After placing the initial order, we did a complete retool of the design. Woodlea was very patient and made a cake exactly as we ordered. The staff made several suggestions and were extremely helpful. The cake itself was delicious. Most of all the bride to be was happy! There were several out of state guests who were impressed with the quality of the cake and the decorations, Thank you Woodlea for helping make the party a success!“

“The smell lures you in wherw you are immediately overtaken by pastries, fresh baked bread, donuts of every kind. I bought several types of danish: walnut, lemon, apple, and cheese. Delicious!!
The store began to fill-up with people coming in to purchase the goods for their grand-children, and themselves.

“Swing by this bakery that’s been highly recommended by many friends who work at the Hopkins. My problem was that I came in the late afternoon, 90 mins before they’re closed. Therefore, they ran out of classic and almond croissants. Fine, I picked Spinach & Ricotta, Apple turnover, and Walnut danish. I did not try any of their desserts as I would like to make sure I like their pastries first before overspending if unworthy. The bakeries look very outdated and needed a makeover. This is a 100% take out bakery. No standing or seating inside. After I got home, tried the spinach & ricotta croissant, which was excellent but could be better. The layers can be improved. The next morning, I tried the walnut danish and apple turnover. They are unusually not sweet compared to the normal pasties sold from other bakeries. This is a GOOD thing but may not be the preferred sweetness level for the majority.

Parking: Paid Street meter parking or you can drive further turning to small alleys to find free street marking.“

The creme brulee tart was good, maybe too much vanilla for my taste (and kind of pricey, but bigger than the ones I've tried before).

I liked the Tamago Sando, very well done and definitely recommended. The caprese however was not at that level.

Had to wait on line a bit, no indoor seating but plenty of tables outside (covered).

Worth a stop if you are in the area. I'll definitely have to come back for breakfast and coffee.“
