“We gave Asian Palace a try for lunch and had a great experience. The Pick 3 Sushi Lunch Special is not only a great deal but also delicious! I get the Alaskan roll, Spicy Yellowtail, and Veggie Tempura roll with a house salad. All three rolls are so good and the salad dressing is amazing. We have also tried Chicken Satay (the best I have ever had), the Godzilla roll, Spicy Fancy roll and the egg drop soup. All were fantastic. We will be definitely be making this a regular spot!“

“I was excited to try this new dumpling spot since I heard it just opened. I tried to make a reservation ahead of time since it was the weekend, but there seemed to be an issue with their system and it wouldn’t go through. So I had to just show up and ended up waiting a long time to get seated.

However, once we got in, the food was actually really good and everything came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The reservation issue and the wait weren’t great, but the dumplings were tasty enough that I’d go back again.“

“The Chongqing Spicy Chicken is fantastic every time. If you have never had it before this is the place to get it. All of the dishes I've tried are very fresh and aromatic, especially regarding the oils and sauces. It is very apparent that all the ingredients are of good quality. “I love this place! I've been here about five times now and it just keeps getting better. I always get just the basic AYCE for $27 and the meat is good for the price. The service is consistently good, and recently they added a make your own sauce bar, with a buffet of rice, noodles, fried rice, tons of vegetables and sides to choose from, as well as little cakes and ice cream included! Karaoke is always fun and the atmosphere is great.

Side note, they do validate parking but for 2 hours only. And they charge an additional $17 for food waste so be mindful of what you get. All in all, I recommend checking this place out!“

“Came here with a colleague and had the fried oyster appetizer and fried pork chop rice noodle in tomato broth. Both were excellent! Returned the next day with my hubby and had the fried jumbo shrimp appetizer and the beef flank rice noodle in tomato broth. Both were amazing! The name “Shi Miao Dao” or in Chinese “十秒到” means “arrive in 10 seconds”. In both my visits, the dishes indeed did arrive swiftly

“Visited for dim sum for the first time today. There was no wait at 11am on a Sunday, perhaps the nice spring weather today kept people away and outside. Shrimp dumplings, pork buns, egg tarts, broccoli with oyster sauce, fried squid, pork fried rice, sesame balls were all good. Service was fast and friendly, environment was clean and pleasant. For a family of four the bill was $100 and we left very full. Would come back.“

“I ordered beef hofun and personally found the taste quite good. However, what I really like is their hofun. I've tried hofun at many places, and this restaurant's hifun are not sticky. The flavor is mild for me, but I think it's a bit strong. After all, everyone has different taste preferences. Overall, I think it's pretty good.“

“This is a takeout place. I ordered delivery, which was expensive. With delivery fee, convenience fee, tax, and tip, the cost was more than double for the food.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered two lunches. You get a choice of appetizers. The wonton soup is much tastier than at most restaurants. The egg roll was pretty good.
I ordered shrimp with vegetables, which comes in a white sauce. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were crisp. For under $3 extra, you can get plain lo mein instead of rice. It was tasty.
I also ordered Szechuan pork. It's supposed to be spicy. I found it mildly spicy. It comes with broccoli, carrots, and onions. They give you plenty of pork, and the sauce has a nice flavor.
I will get their food again, but not with delivery.“

I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and it's been excellent every time and affordable! The vegetable tofu soup ($2.95) is huge, satisfying, and full of veggies. The wonton soup ($2.95) has 3 good sized wontons. Both soups come with a bowl of tastier-than-average fried wonton strips on the side that I end up munching on during the entire meal. The sizzling black pepper beef ($16.95?) was tasty, but I was more impressed by the noodle dishes. The beef chow fun ($14.95?) and the Singapore mei fun ($13.95) were beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly. I've also gotten the salmon nigiri ($5.95?) a couple times, and it's generously portioned and fresh with great quality salmon. Every meal ends with a complimentary tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream and fortune cookie. There are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in MoCo, but Gourmet Asian Bistro is my current favorite for best flavor and value.“

Singapore Rice Noodles (without pork) and it tasted heavenly. It was amazing. Very well seasoned. The pork makes it taste different from what I recall, and it isn't my preferred way to eat it.

Shrimp w/ brocolli: amazing! Wish it had more shrimp, but the flavor is there. Pair it with some seafood fried rice and it is a slap.

Seafood Fried Rice: overall one of my favorite fried rice dishes in the wheaton-glenmont and aspenhill areas. Very well balances. When paired with the Shrimp & Broccoli it shines.

Beef & Stick: Unique beef sticks, I really enjoy it with my sister. The taste isn't exaggerated but its a hit or miss for everyone. Surefire hit for me though.“
