“Excellent service! Wonderful family! I have been coming here for pizza, wings, and sandwiches since 2007. This lovely business always keeps the food ready for their customers. The pizza slices are actually really big, unlike other pizza places.“
“This place is a hidden gem in the Rockville area. All Mana’esh and pizza heaven. On top on that the service is very nice and they are very generous. I ordered zataar and hot halabi sausage and laham b-agen and owner got us another lebneh as a gift. Definitely coming back??“
“Warm and Friendly People M & N Pizza brings the Middle East and Asian spices and flavors to the Maryland, for some it would be a new experience and for others it be like a taste of home. Located in a compact store front in Downtown Bethesda, this pizza place is serving up unique pizzas with international flavors and fusions. Their masala spiced fries were deliciously vibrant in flavor. I elected not to try their pizza but ordered their chicken gyro instead. Which was made with the creamy sauce, flavorful chicken, and lettuce. This sandwich with the cooling flavor paired nicely with the fiery spice of the fries. I did have the pleasure of reading about all the different pizzas, so it's definitely on my list to return for that special pizza experience. The food was tasty and good, it reminds me of the international cuisine I found back home in New York City. Even more impressive was the warm, friendly atmosphere cultivated by the people managing this restaurant. We were visiting for our order in the car, without even asking them, they brought our orders to the car. This is definitely a pizza place to try, if you are in search of something good, spicy, delicious and special. (They will guide you to the spicy level that's right for you.)“
“We arrived promptly for our 7:15 PM reservation. We were seated right away. Upon sitting at the table, my mom noticed that a section of the table was not clean. She told the host, and he returned with a wipe. He gave my mom the wipe, for her to clean the table. We were too excited about our very first experience at an vegan restaurant to make a fuss. We started off with some cocktails and appetizers. The bang bang broccoli was a hit! The sushi was ok and everyone enjoyed Thier cocktails, despite the excessive amount of ice. Every one enjoyed their entrées. I had the chick n waffles, which I really enjoyed. We even order dessert! The brownie was so moist and delicious on its own. The ice cream was a added treat. Our server was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu.We will definitely be back for brunch as well as check out the other two Planta in the DMV.“
“Best pizza around—hands down! The crust is perfect every time, and toppings are fresh and delicious. Can’t imagine getting takeout pizza anywhere else after trying the amazing pies at Pizza Rosa! Also, the salads and desserts are awesome! Very grateful to have a truly great pizza option in this area.“
“We had a half vegetarian half tibs pizza. The crust is soft and similar to keeta.Toppings are high quality meat and veggies and come heavily loaded, you will most likely need utensils. They have green salsa and hot honey too.One pizza was 16 inches and was more than enough for 3 people.Just as good if not better than having a traditional Ethiopian meal.Limited indoor seating, lots of outdoor.Vegetarian options: Pizza“
“A first date cancelled on my 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet. My super sweet server consoled me and even gave me a free dessert. The whole staff was unbelievably nice, and my Monday night half price pizza was delish. I've also had the pasta in the past and thought it was great, too. Cozy decor. I recommend.“
“We'd been wanting to go here for a long time and finally made it out. This place is amazing. It has a nice cozy vibe and you're hit with a warm, lovely aroma or baking pizza as soon as you walk in! We got the Green Monster and The Shirley and both were absolutely fantastic. They have good beers on tap too.The dough is light, airy and delicious and doesn't sit in your stomach like a rock. Everything about the food is spot on.“
“We recently discovered this hidden gem, and we were absolutely thrilled with everything! Can’t wait yo try their Sunday brunch! For my kid's birthday party, we decided to order from Emi Rossi, and the pies were a huge hit with all the guests. It's easily our favorite pizza place so far!“
“Glad I found this gem tucked away in a shopping center. Atmosphere was great, service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Great for vegans and vegetarians with a good amount of options. Vegan shwarma was delicious. Some dishes can be customized to your dietary needs. Will definitely be returning. Thank you, Siena's for a great experience.“
“From a New Yorker - this is the first pizza place in the DMV area that I’ve absolutely loved! Have already gone back multiple times. Servers are so kind and conversational. Amazing homemade soda. The focaccia and the Hot Mess Pizza are absolutely incredible!“
“I came to Andy's Pizza - Bethesda on a Sunday evening. There is street parking available and we were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself. There are a handful of seats available upstairs as well as downstairs. After ordering our pizza and drinks at the counter, my husband and I grabbed a seat right at the front window with our son. I ordered a slice of the Buffalo Crispy Chicken, this comes with mozzarella, provolone, ricotta, crispy white meat chicken and buffalo sauce. The pizza wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated, but it was still good. The crust and pizza itself is thin with less dough. Although the pizza slices seem large, they were not that filling. At $6 for a slice, it makes more sense to order an entire pizza. Overall, the staff were friendly and the food was good. I would definitely order from here again, but just as I mentioned above, I would order an entire pizza next time :)“
“Our homemade pasta meals were superb (mushroom tagliatelle oohlala!) & our server DJ was sensitive & attentive. I also liked the matte gray stoneware dinnerware & presentations were lovely on it. However, the noise level 6:00 -7:00 pm Sunday evening despite a pleasant amount of space set between tables was unfortunately almost deafening so it was hard to hold a conversation with my husband (even with his hearing aids set to filter out background noise) without raising our voices considerably. I'm not sure why that was, perhaps the low ceilings & energetically vocal toddlers & families, perhaps because we were in the corner on the first level? We'd love to return to try other items on the menu but will try another time during weekdays perhaps between 3-5 or upstairs or outdoors in nice weather.“
“First and foremost, let’s talk about the food. It’s not just good—it’s exceptional. Each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that dance on your palate. Whether you’re craving a classic comfort food dish or eager to explore something new and exotic, La pizza has you covered. The freshness of the ingredients shines through in every bite, reminding you that quality is never compromised here. But it’s not just the food that sets La pizza apart; it’s the entire experience. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Ordering is a breeze, and the pickup process is smooth and efficient. Even if you opt for delivery, your meal arrives promptly and piping hot, ready to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.In addition to their impeccable food and service, La pizza also earns high marks for value. Despite the gourmet quality of the cuisine, prices remain reasonable, making it a viable option for any budget. In sum, La pizza is a true gem in the world of takeout. Whether you’re treating yourself to a solo feast or feeding a hungry crowd, you can’t go wrong with the culinary delights offered here. Prepare to be wowed from the first bite to the last.“
“Went to Angelo’s Pizza Pasta and Deli for the first time not too long ago and the service was immaculate. Everyone is very nice, they get your order done on time even offer saples while you wait! I got the spaghetti with meatballs and it was fantastic. Although it’s not restaurant or five star food it’s just like Mom’s cooking. A well home-made dish that you can’t beat for the price. Will be going again soon!“
“This is my favorite neighborhood spot for a quick bite & beer! The owners put lots of care into the quality of the food & their beer/wine selections. I highly recommend stopping in to check it out.(This was a proper pint—I just had to take a sip!)“
“Shrimp Parmesan was great, with huge shrimp! And lots of gluten free options - very tasty raviolis with rose sauce.Dietary restrictions: Incredible selection (an entire menu!) of gluten-free foods. The ravioli with rose sauce was delicious. It was wonderful to have Italian food (and pasta) that we didn’t have to cook at home.“
“Stumbled upon this little bistro after taking a red line shuttle bus following WMATA closures. The bistro was serene and inviting on a cold, winter day in DC. They had a great selection of outdoor, indoor, and heated patio sitting. The service and atmosphere were par for the course, nothing spectacular. The food, however, far exceeded my expectations.First & foremost, this bistro’s speciality is pizza — thin coal fired or Detroit-style. My wife is allergic to dairy but was blown away by the coal-fired vegan cheese vegetable pizza, which was decadent and perfectly balanced between the splendid vegan cheese, mushrooms, spinach, olives and house made tomato sauce! Note: they only do not do vegan cheese substitutes for their Detroit-style pizza.Their Sunday brunch sandwiches — in this case, the McBeasty — were superb, and the Caesar Salad was very fresh and had a unique house made Caesar dressing that tied in everything well!I can confidently say that this place takes #1 for best vegan cheese pizza.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza with options for vegan cheese. The brunch menu has mostly vegetarian options as well. Salads can all be changed to vegetarian or vegan.Dietary restrictions: This bistro has tons of vegan and vegetarian options, especially for their coal-fired pizza.Parking: Parking is limited to paid street parking and nearby paid parking garages. I recommend taking public transportation to this location.Kid-friendliness: The bistro has a kids’ menu and high chairs for babies/toddlers. The staff was very kind and considerate toward my family.“
“Ordered for pickup. I got there early the friendly man at the counter (owner?) let me know it would just going to be a couple minutes and that he had upgraded me to an extra large pie - I had ordered a large. Pizza was Great! I also got the Garlic bread which was awesome… homemade and so tasty. Def 5 stars!“
“Good food and good staff! Shout out to Joyce and Lulu, very nice people. Pizza deal on Thursday came on a good day 50% off and got some cauliflower wings, it was out of this world! Parking is real tight but most good restaurants have that issue. Hope they get some karoake in that establishment.Parking: There's parking in the neighborhood“
“We had a great meal. The pizza was delicious. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Our kids really enjoyed the meal and playing ping pong kept them happy while we waited to be served. And being a few doors away from Politics and Prose, one of the very best independent book stores, made for a prefect evening.“
“Terra Mare is a great little place in the heart of Wheaton. It's got a decent spread of Italian fare, including brick oven pizzas, which they make right there in the open part of the kitchen. The cocktails there are decent, and the service is always friendly and great.“
“I am not a big fan of pizza, but I found their pizzas quite good, nicely baked with yummy thin crust. Other appetizers like stuffed bell papers were nuce, too. The atmosphere is cozy enough. The restaurant was buzy, but there was still a relatively quiet ambiance, and the servers did not appear to be frantically running around. The service could have been faster as most of the food items are relatively fast to prepare, especially since we came shortly after 5 pm when the restaurant just started filling up. Parking might be tough to find on Fridays so you would have to go around the block to find a metered spot or a garage.“
“This place was great! We sat on the patio, had excellent service, delicious pizza and an apple goat cheese salad. Good prices and fresh, tasty food!Vegetarian options: They have a full vegan menu and tons of vegetarian options too, with everything labeled for easy dietary restrictionsDietary restrictions: They have a full vegan menu and tons of vegetarian options too, with everything labeled for easy dietary restrictions“
“We had the best time bringing a huge party here. The pizza was awesome, and my kids LOVED the fries. But actually the best part was the service and staff. It was A LOT to feed our crew and everyone did it with a smile and kindness. Go here and support this great place!“
“We had a slight issue with an order we placed and the staff was so apologetic and kind. One young lady in particular who was just so nice, I wish I asked her name. Remade our order and was so sweet. I hope she’s paid well!!! This location is also so clean always“
“Solid experience. If you're looking for that Maryland style pizza (popularized by Ledo) this place is fantastic. Went during half priced pizza night. The place was packed and parking is a nightmare but service was still prompt despite there being a ton of people.Parking: I recommend just parking in the metro garage.“
“This restaurant is a favorite for my wife and I to dine. It is an Armenian Mediterranean restaurant. The hummus is creamy and delectable. The kebab platters are savory and well prepared. Highly recommend Sasuns Cafe. You will not be disappointed.“
“Exemplary! We dined here first because it is so close to the Strathmore concert venue but have been back for a a total of five visits in less than a year. I've never had a bad dish. The pizza is fantastic (crust and toppings, red and white), the salads are fresh, and the side dishes are delicious and fun to share. How many fast casual restaurants serve mussels? Piccoli Piatti has several different versions and all the ones we've tried have been great--save your pizza crust for sopping up the goodness. Service is friendly and efficient. We showed up one Friday or Saturday during the dinner rush. The line was from the counter to the door but it moved quickly. I can't wait to go back! (PS: If you save room--sometimes we don't--there is an ice cream shop several doors down.)“
“Gregorio's catered our Super Bowl party and the quality of the food made for a great success. Here's something you may not know (yet) - Gregorio's wings are FANTASTIC! They went faster than all of the homemade potluck dishes our guests brought. Pizza is consistently delicious (why we order from Gregorio's in the first place). But the wings....! Best I've had in years!“
“OMG! Finally a real NY Pizza! 3/2/24 12 noon, I just happened to ride by this place and I saw it said New York Pizza. So I bought one slice just to check it out, finally, finally, finally a real New York pizza! I will definitely be back to purchase a whole pie.“
“Guys - if you like cider even a little bit, you have to come here. The cider is dry, flavorful, and delicious (without random sugar added). The atmosphere is hip, the lights are ambient, and Liz is (out of this world) attentive to all your food and beverage needs. COME GET ANXO! PS - you can bring your friendly dogs too.“
“Had a wonderful experience for the first time in a while at this location! Special s/o to Josh! He was very accommodating and had a very pleasant attitude. The cashier was also efficient and helpful; I didn't get her name, but she was very kind. 10/10!“
“Heyyyy thank you so much to Matt and Izza!!! Your hard work for all this time has not gone unnoticed. It was getting pretty hectic and you all held it down. I have been in food and beverage for decades, I would have gotten a lil frazzled, and you didn’t. ? Service was amazing, and our pizzas were sooo good and made with love. ❤️“
“I have lunch here with friends at least twice a month and it is always excellent! Tha carbonara with wild boar is the best I have ever had and the calamari is perfect. Highly recommend and I'm getting hungry so I'm heading over there now!“
“I wanted to post an update since my last review. I’m so impressed at the professionalism and follow up I received from the manager after my feedback. Ms. Robertson was thoughtful. Kind and helpful in discussing what happened and she also rectified the situation by providing gift certificates so we can have another opportunity to go back to the restaurant. Thank you for taking care of your customers. We are very pleased with this outcome.“
“Our party of three was there on a night they had a huge party. We were served well and seated away from the loud party group. Excellent food, as always! Tapas make for a pleasant evening of sharing and conversation while enjoying the good food. Already looking forward to the next time!“
“Super cool spot!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming here since Wilfredo first opened his doors. I’ve come to think of it as a home away from home. The food is exactly what the doctor ordered after a long days work. Karaoke Tuesdays has completely brought me out of my shell. It’s definitely become a hidden gem for the Brightwood community. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.“
“This pizza is one of the BEST ever. The sauce ,cheese ,and dough is so scrumptious. Last Friday was my first time here ( we ordered take out ).First of all i love the fact it's in a gate community with security. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The staff here are so nice ( I think a guy who appeared to be chef even checked on me) . i cant wait for me and hubby to dine in !Don't change a thing. You all Rock❤️“
“Just happened to drive by Paradiso and decided to stop for a lite meal. Ordered the New Year's 4-Pork Special 12" pizza with pepperoni, salami, sausage, basil, asiago, and mozzarella cheese, minus the prosciutto (cutting down the salt intake) You can taste the spices in the red sauce. The pizza is not overwhelmed with cheese, but the cheese combination is delicious. The crust was lite and crisp. It was piping hot and stayed relatively hot to warm as we enjoyed this deliciously wood-fired pizza, with nothing left but crumbs. We paired it with the Homebrew award winning Paradiso Dunkelweizen beer, a nice Mellow taste. Great for a non-beer connoisseur. Okay, great corner location with free parking lot next door and street parking. Nice decor with plenty of seating inside with full panel glass doors that open to the patio during the hot summer days. Covered patio seating outside in front and side of building. Bar seating inside and outside as well as a heated tent. This location is handicap accessible. Mon-Tues closed. Wed-Thurs 4-9pm and Fri-Sat 1-9pm. Paid $43 for two drinks and pizza. The staff are welcoming. David our server was very attentive. Will return to sample other items on the menu.Parking: The restaurant is located on a corner next to the neighborhood. You can find parking on the street if none is available in the nearby parking lot.“
“I have never eaten out so much in one week I can't help it I got to go to Pizza Castle for lunch everyday even if I have my own lunch from home but their food is fresh the customer service is amazing I recommend this place I recommended you will not regret it at all Best place to eat their wings is the best The pizza also is the best I just love their food“
“Yesterday while in the area I decided to stop by for a slice of pizza. As someone that used to work at this particular location many years ago, it was great to see they still have a wonderful team lead by Andy. The pizza is just as good if not better. It was good catching up with Andy and listening to how great the company is doing overall. Adam if you’re seeing this review you’ve got a great leader at the Potomac location.“
“I’ve been ill and not eating for a few days . Family brought me soup and fruit and I just didn’t want it. They just got me the tuna sub and wedge fries that I like from your restaurant and I managed to eat that very well. So thank you for being there and for having delicious “
“I ordered a cheese calzone and the manager was so helpful ! Full of kindness and great service ! I love his generosity! I give it five star just absolutely Amazing! Go try their food it’s delicious and freshly cooked and wonderful service ! Props to the manager !“
“Best pizza we’ve had in Maryland. The homeslyce original is fantastic! Very accommodating to our young children as wellVegetarian options: Homeslyce original pizza includes spinach, eggplant, roasted red pepper, goat cheese, and walnuts. A fantastic and unexpected combination!Dietary restrictions: Ample vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: High chairs, friendly staff, kid friendly options“
“I have lived in Rockville my whole life and just discovered this Deli when I was looking for something quick to eat in the area. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the workers were at making each sandwich with care to each of our different wants. The quality of the meat was very good and the sandwich was big and delicious. I ordered the Godfather Sub toasted. Highly recommend. They also have a good variety on the menu and you can grab a beer or wine and bag of chips just as easy.“
“On a chilly night, we found ourselves in Silver Spring craving pizza and found Underground Pizza, a hole in the wall. Plenty of customers, and a busy kitchen - the wait was a bit long, but it was worth it. The salad was fresh and bright, the classic cheese pizza was thick and flavorful, with crispy parmesan on the crust. The quattro was a nice variety of flavors, from deep pesto to sweet veggies to the meaty goodness of the woodlands. The servers made sure to visit often and make sure everything was up to snuff. I would definitely recommend Underground Pizza. If you've never tried Detroit-style, it's a nice break from standard pizza and Underground does it well.“
“Friendly neighborhood bar with fantastic staff. Go there a couple of times there's a good chance the staff would remember you by your name. Jonathan's fries are the best in this part of the town and so is their baked tilapia served with beans and rice. Sean mixes some great cocktails and is our favorite server.“
“Love the pizza. But ... Seasoning is KEPT on the top of the trash receptacle. I once asked staff behind the counter if they could keep it elsewhere, but it didn't do any good. Yech!I went there last night and they had seasoning on top of the trash, as usual. They had seasoning in plastic containers like what you'd have sour cream or cottage cheese in. But with no top at all. Putting garlic powder on my slice without putting too much on was a challenge. You guys gotta do better.Update: Thanks for your response. I mentioned the issue once to your staff. They told me when they put the seasonings in a different spot, customers just put them back atop the trash.I don't believe that because *every single time I go there, they're *only on the trash container -- *never anywhere else. Ever. And .. even if that *were true? Figure out a way to prevent them from being removed -- or maybe put on top of the trash something round or whatever to prevent them from staying on top.Somehow, there's a way to prevent this problem. If you succeed, then I promise to delete from this review the part about the trash. If you don't, I'll add photos.“
“Came in right at closing time and Jazz took care of my order even though they were right about to close. My order only took about 10 mins and I was on my way! Thank You DJ Jazzy Jazz! You're the man and I hope you get a raise! This location in Aspen Hill has become my favorite Papa John's Pizza location because even though some people may complain about the customer service, I've never had a bad experience here and I've been ordering both Delivery and Carryout from here for years!!“
