“I came here after dinner in Fells, and it was such a cool, swanky vibe—definitely not what I expected from a hotel bar in Baltimore!

Drinks were good and reasonably priced, but it did take a while to get our order in. We didn’t have to wait for a table (even on a busy weekend), which was a win for our group of four.

Great spot for a date night or hanging out with friends. Giving it a 3.5 but rounding up because the vibes were good.“

“This place is such a hidden gem. I love that it’s in a very nondescript, mysterious location. The vibes are immaculate and I had the best cocktail of my life here (caffe pistachio) and they are delicious and reasonably priced. My only criticism is that the music was a bit odd, it felt like I was in a yoga studio. otherwise i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique, true speakeasy vibe for an after dinner cocktail.“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! “I heard the stories about this place and it had been closed for a couple of years as the hotel it's in underwent renovation and ownership changes but it's back open and I couldn't be happier.

Steve the bartender is currently a one man show and we were there on the weekend it reopened and he was so happy to be back in his happy place. The man is a cocktail maven who loves his craft and what he does and his customers as well.

There is currently no menu here you ask for what you want or can tell Steve what you are in the mood for and he will make something amazing!

I got a smoked old fashioned that he smokes with his own blend of wood and spices and it was easily in the Top 5 of best old fashioneds I've ever had.

“We are there for the first time last night and I can say the food was absolutely amazing and the service was phenomenal. It’s a busy restaurant for obvious reasons, but the staff made the experience a great one. The owner Carlos was super nice and stopped by to say hello to us as we have a mutual friend. “Honig Napa Cab… it was an honorable visit with a friend from Israel, who said that she felt very safe and comfortable and totally enjoyed then experience at this establishment. She felt “no racism here” her words .. we had a good time … I had the Honig Cab X2 … or 3… I lost count …she had Negroni. Great service … amazing experience. “I happened to drive by and see people sitting outside eating. It looked like a great place to stop. I went by myself. I was able to find free parking right outside the restaurant. The menu I was looking at was mostly breakfast and brunch. The price range was about $15 on up. I got a gingerale and their house wings as well as fries. Everything was good.. My bill was $21. The waitress was very attentive and nice and gave recommendations. I would recommend checking this place out. It had a nice atmosphere.“

“I go to foleys all the time and I love it there! The wings are amazing and I love all the Guinness combos they have. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a tv in place of the chalkboard that is above the middle of the bar. If you’re sitting in the middle of the bar you have to crane your neck around to watch anything, having a tv there would be awesome!“

The food was incredible — huge portions, hand-cut fries, house-made blue cheese, and perfectly hand-breaded chicken tenders. The Crab Rangoon dip and Buffalo Cauliflower were outstanding. “The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. The Dive is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood“

“Max's Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Fells Point sometimes service can be a little tough here because there's usually only one bartender however it is a fantastic spot and one of the oldest bars in Fells Point I highly recommend you at least visit once in order to check it out there's so many bars in Fells Point it's hard to hit them all but this is one of my favorites the food is fantastic beer selection is great however I did ask the bartender about cider and he immediately said we only have it in cans which was wrong they had two different ciders on draft so maybe just read the menu for yourself since it seems to bartender may not know exactly what's on draft. If you are a cider fan I highly recommend you check out the DownEast fall cider it is delicious and on draft I'll recommend it since the bartender didn't even seem to know!“

“This is a great local bar with a lot of character. You won't find friendlier people anywhere. Classic old school decor inside and on the night we were there, DJs spinning the disks at your request. Wander upstairs and check out the record store while you're there. This is a must hang in Baltimore.“

“Everything was excellent. The crabs were seasoned just the way I like them with a cold Coors light. Those sweet potato fries were to die for and the wings were freshly fried so they were juicy and seasoned to perfection. We also had the privilege of chatting with the owner Steve and Tyler and the two waitresses that waited on us was very attentive. You can grab a beer here before you browse the food options in the marketplace, which is what I do.Service is always good and friendly, and you can get a taste of a beer before you commit to a whole glass, which is always awesome.They also do beer to go! You can get a reusable container of any of the beers.

Parking: Street parking is rarely a problem! Just check the signs to confirm you're in a good spot, but in general it's not a problem at all!“
