“A cute place in a cozy spot filled with joy and anticipation. The menu changes often so, if you look online and salivate at one of the photos, there is a good chance what you desire has morphed into something else. But fear not, the chef has surely created something new you willingly dive into.
I had the beef short ribs Chinese style. As my mother would say, when she is commenting on a dish, it was nice. That is a higher praise than most, but I feel it was appropriate for this dish. It wasn’t what I was expecting for a place with such high accolades. More like Korean Kalbi with Szechuan spice. Just a suggestion, maybe work on the presentation and add some coconut sugar to the marinade to balance out the flavor of the dish. It was served with an apple slaw that was also, nice, as it was the tangy acidic element to the dish. As the meat was spicy and the slaw tangy I was left yearning for that great balance of flavor great asian food has—spicy, sweet, tangy all in one bite.
I also had the lotus dumpling and that was delightful— maybe the same critique, just missing one thing, but I can’t put my finger on it yet.
The food was good and would definitely go back if I could find a nice date (almost impossible nowadays unless you pay upfront). Service was excellent and the ambiance made you feel warm and welcome. You should try this spot and order a lot more than I did to get a true experience of what this place has to offer.“

“Very friendly and lovely owner! The food was absolutely delicious and everything was prepared by him personally. I didn’t think vegetarian noodles could be made in such a way, but the dish was truly excellent. The same goes for my husband’s dumplings. We enjoyed everything very much. “Been scouting this place for about 3 weeks for a birthday dinner. I called over a week in advance for a party of 7 - 13 people. They were able too accommodate and the food was GOOOOOD! That hotpot was smokin and I thought I choose a milder one but it was excellent in taste for me. Now this was the first time I have had it so don't come at me if it doesn't hit you taste buds the same.“

“I love these soup dumplings! We get the frozen ones to have on hand all the time and the fresh ones are a delicious snack when you’re there.
You have to order on your own and take a number and then it’s in the back of the market which is why I’m giving 4 stars for service and atmosphere but definitely try these!!“

“Soupy Dumpling & Fancy Cuppa is my new go-to spot for comfort food. The soup dumplings are perfectly juicy and flavorful, the spicy beef noodle soup has a rich, satisfying broth with just the right kick, and the mango bubble tea is refreshing and not overly sweet. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. The place is cozy, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth a visit! Oh they have robots running around so can be fun with kids.“

“This is another take out Chinese place like called Wing Wah . This s a place you must either call in order food or order online through their website . This place is family owned and Well respected . I love this place because y family and I hae ordered out from this place many times . I love the Sweet Am Sour Shrimp, Shrimp Fried Rice regular rice , Egg Drop Soup, Sweet and Soyr Chichen and more . This is the best take out Chinese place in the Colesville Shopping Center. As you enter in there is a take out customer Service barista arw where you meet the family who owns the place help you . In the back, They have a closed Concept kitchen where the magic happens to make your favorite Chinese traditional foods you'll ever have . If you love tis place as I do , This place is for you . “Very pleasant experience at this family owned place. Lots of parking spaces, spacious seating arrangements. Neat and clean.
Let’s talk about food. We order the hot & sour soap to begin with and it was delicious. Serves 3 people easily. Sesame chicken was delightful marinated and seasoned. Beef chili was great too.

“Our three children and their godparents (our best friends) dined at Shi Miao Dao Noodle House to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday yesterday. Every dish served was packed with flavor. After dinner, I mentioned that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and they gave her a complimentary bubble tea. As we were walking out, my son ran back to the table to take two more large bites from his bowl of noodles. This morning, he asked if we could go back for lunch today! When I told my children I was writing a five-star review they shared the following reflections:
Son, age 9: I recommend the golden beef noodles. You should also get the shrimp and beef soup dumplings! Their service was awesome and fast!
Daughter, age 12: I would recommend the golden shrimp rice noodles. It's great if you can't handle a lot of spice and if you like shrimp. I would also say that the soup dumplings are the best I have ever had. The service is spectacular. This is place is the best!

“Absolutely amazing. I ordered crab rangoon,philly egg roll and Shrimp Lo main and I tell you the noodles are a 10 out of 10 not overcooked or undercooked nor dry. “Staff are extremely friendly and speak English well. Other Asians eat here too. Service is very quick and we went twice in the last week for their lunch special. Chicken is white and tender. “We were on our trip to DC. By chance I pulled into the parking lot to check GPS. The wife suggested we grab a quick bite. The food was very decent. The waitress was not rude, but not polite either. Maybe that’s the thing with Chinese, we are not warm to our own kind.“

“Not only is every dish delicious, but the service at Isshin is so warm, so welcome and so lovely. Secret menu item is the handmade dumplings (they have two types so ask for these specifically). Their miso soup is very rich but not overly salty, which can be difficult to find, yet it is here daily and for a good price. I’m particularly in love with their udon noddles, which I get vegetarian with tofu, and the veggies are perfectly crisp. Their sushi rolls are fresh and I never get the seaweed burps. They know us when we walk in and make my wife and I feel like family. Become a regular, it’s worth it.“

“It’s a staple on my list of comfort places to go. I usually deal with Stephanie and shes always courteous. The food is also usually consistently good.
Came in today and my order included 5 wings split. Tina made it a meal and I didn’t notice till I got home. There was a bit of a misunderstanding when I called in regarding it but she took my name and number and will provide a credit next time I’m in so that was resolved. This review is to keep them accountable for the next time I’m in the restaurant since I don’t know when that’ll be next.

“I love this place. No it doesn’t have the best ambiance being in a strip mall and the interior probably needs work. But they aren’t selling a dining experience, they are essentially takeout only which means they are selling the food.
The food is solid. I am a very picky eater, and I’ve returned to this place many times. It’s authentic and flavorful. They also give you large portions and they are not expensive. I used to drive to Columbia just for Singapore noodles because I didn’t know where else to get them done well.
So far I’ve had the singapore noodle, general tso, combo rice, and steak and cheese sandwich. i really enjoyed that steak and cheese! but i don’t like crinkle fries which is what they serve.
I’m so glad ive found local takeout that is GOOD! the woman who works at the front is very friendly and professional. I will keep going back.“

“Since Eastern Gourmet has opened it has become our go-to for great Chinese takeout. We have ordered an extensive amount of the menu and there aren't any dishes that haven't blown us away. The food is amazing, the service is attentive, and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.“

“I've been coming to China dynasty for at least 25 years I believe. One thing that I have found that I love that they have is they make a great steak and cheese sandwich. It's actually better than Ledo's . Very fast service. Was ready in 15 minutes. The staff is very courteous and just a wonderful family run place pick up food from. “Some friend took Us to Mandarin House in the early 90's. From then to 2009 (moving out of state), it was our Go-To place for incredibly delicious Chinese food and always a big hit with whoever We took there. If I had any complaint, it might be that the dish was blander than I expected, although still good. ALWAYS top rate service and food!\n We were visiting family and friends in Maryland last week and made it a point to sop here for lunch. I had the General Tso lunch special (with Pork Fried Rice and an egg roll) that was as good as I remember while my wife went for her usual, Eggplant With Hot Garlic Sauce. We took takeout to go with Us: Chef's Spicy Crispy Shrimp, Morengo Delight and for the "kids" (daughter and her husband), it was Happy Family and Chef's Spicy Crispy Beef. All sumptuous.\n Their prices have gone up (but sadly, whose has not the last few years?), but the portions are filling and our usual server "Carlos" was as cool as ever. Almost every Chinese restaurant that We have gone to has gotten "It's good...but it's not Mandarin House". Overlook the Strip Mall exterior and enjoy Your food.“

“Went here with my girlfriend and got :- 6 fried 6 steamed dumplings- general tso’s- fried rice- rice noodles- wonton soupI can easily say it was the best dumplings I have ever had. The rice noodles were very good and the wonton soup was alright. The gen tsos was as expected (good) and the fried rice was pretty good. I will definitely be coming back and getting more. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for great Chinese food. Also the service was awesome, they seem like great people.“
