“The service was top notch. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We were there for a birthday and my son's favorite is the marinated Kalbi and it typically always gets cooked last. Seeing that as my son was waiting the server said he would add a note to my reservation for the future so it gets cooked first so my son doesn't have to wait. :) The meat quality was excellent! I would say though since I been to this restaurant several times in the past, the amount of meat per the pre fixe menu definitely has decreased. In any case, excellent service and great meat quality! Will always go back!“

“This is not a five star restaurant by any measure, but the experience was awesome. I’ve driven by it maybe 1000 times so it could be my anticipation getting the best of me here but I was very pleased with everything here. It’s a very low-key nondescript almost austere overall vibe and it’s all cooked as you order, but pretty quick. I’ll come again!“

“I am sure Korean food is the best when tasted in Korea. That's why I'm not a big fan of Korean restaurants abroad. However this one, Rice Bar in DC satisfied me for real. 다만 제 느낌에 1회용 숫가락이 좀더 크면 좋겠고 젓가락에 일본어 적힌 점이 아쉽.. 그래도 또 들리고 싶네요.“

“Our dad-daughter dinner at Ingle was an impromptu stroke of luck. We were hoping to try out an iconic local restaurant on U Street for the first time, but it was crowded and the music was so loud we had to look elsewhere. We headed west on U and then south on 14th St when my daughter saw the sign for Ingle Korean Steakhouse and thought it looked nice.
We decided to try the place sans reservation. The hostess sat us at the bar because it was going to be a few minutes before they could prepare a table. I sipped on a rye old fashioned that looked like it should have been featured in an ad for cocktails, while my daughter excitedly told me what would be her appetizer and main course when we ordered. The old fashioned was so delicious I ordered a second with dinner.
We were led to our table after just a few short minutes at the bar, where we were greeted by our waiter, Kenneth. He guided us through the menu choices. He explained the prix fixe menu choices or we could dine ala carte. My daughter is one of those kids who reads menus carefully and knows what sounds good to her so despite the intrigue of the prix fixe menu we decided to try her picks.
We got several appetizers, each more delicious than the one before it. We thought they were all superb, and neither of us could pick which one was our favorite if our lives depended on it.
We asked Kenneth if we had ordered an appropriate amount for the two of us as we were about to add more menu items. He admitted that we were probably already going to need a doggie bag. We appreciated his honesty. He was right; someone at home would be lucky enough to get a taste of the magnificent beef fried rice and the scallion pancakes we couldn't finish. Kenneth added that these were the best two items to take home because they traveled best.
We ended the night with espresso and black sesame ice cream. Ingle's menu does not mention affogatos per se, maybe because the dessert is technically not gelato, but Kenneth was more than familiar with how to serve the espresso and ice cream affogato style. After two bites, my daughter exclaimed it was the best affogato she's ever had regardless of what it was called. She then asked for a second scoop of the ice cream to add to her remaining espresso.
We're bringing the rest of the family with us next time. Then we're coming back with friends who we know will find this place as charming and delicious as we did on this first visit.“

“The food is good, but I’m gonna have to remove stars because of the customer service. 😕 When I first entered, I wasn’t greeted. The associate just stared at me, as if to say “I don’t have all day. Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

“The food here was absolutely delicious! I literally want to drive the 5 hours back to DC just to get more. The lady that took my order was super cute and sweet and answered all of our questions. I didn't even get a picture of my food because it looked and smelled so good and I just dug right in! They do have a couple of stools at a little bar area, but it is mostly a takeout place.“

“$5.50 for an extra scoop of meat…why…
Other than that this place is extremely solid. The bulgogi is usually rich in flavor, veggies are fresh, rice is nice and soft.
My order: white rice, bulgogi, half cucumber, half carrot, creamy sriracha? Chipotle?, sesame oil and seeds. Then when I get home I cook an over easy egg and throw it in. Lasts me three delicious meals!“

“Solid lunch. Got the rice bowl with bulgogi beef and went with the cilantro ranch and sesame sauces. Both of them were subtle in the best way, not overpowering at all, just added this nice smoothness to the whole dish that tied everything together. Added the Korean “Drug” Egg because obviously. Worth it.
But honestly the highlight was the cashier. Came in around 2pm and she had this energy that just makes you want to come back. Genuinely warm, not scripted. Didn’t catch her name but she deserves the recognition.
Good food, great vibes, fair price. Easy yes.“

“This is the most best chicken wings in entire Washington DC, we always have it every week on our days off and we live down in Southwest. They have best Korean soysauce but surprisingly the most delicious taste is Lemon Pepper sauce, it's so yummy as sweet, bit of salty sour and the price?! No need to argue with their price as too cheap for its deliciousness and value.“

“This is my go to spot whenever I am craving a good bowl of Seol Lung Tang or Bibim NangMyun. For the Seoul Lung Tang, don’t forget to add salt and for spice, add their hot pepper paste- this is a must. We usually order their haemul pajun to start. It’s a huge serving and oh so good. Korean comfort food!“

“Wang Jja Jang 7/10
- Tang Soo Yuk (Sweet & Sour Pork) - Not too sweet with subtle pineapple flavor - Recommend sauce on the side so the pork styles crispy 8/10
- Ja Jang Myun (Noodles w/ Black Bean Paste) - Homey and delicious 8/10
- Jam Pong (Spicy Noodle w/ Seafood) - Flavorful broth but expected more spicy 5/10
- Pan Jeon (Seafood Pancake) - Good fry without being greasy and generous portion of seafood, but octopus a little chewy - 7/10
Great experience with friendly staff and delicious, homey food! We’ll be back to try more items!“
“This place is legitimately fantastic. I’m a big fan of hole-in-the-wall office building delis (okay, it’s an admittedly unusual interest…), and this one is a great example. It’s got that perfect mashup of deli standbys like breakfast sandwiches, subs, and sandwiches, plus a bunch of things from the owner’s background - in this case, great Korean food. Likewise, the variety of snacks and drinks is similarly broad, with a lot of unusual things you don’t see many places. Too bad it’s only open on weekdays, but if you’ve got to see a specialist for some doctor’s appointment, this is a good reason to pick one at 5454 Wisconsin.“

“Oh K-Dog can be a bit hit-or-miss. The food is fantastic -- all the K-dogs and sauces are amazing, and the toast sandwiches are absolutely delicious! However, service can sometimes be slow, and orders don't always come out in the right queue order. If you're on a short lunch break, you might want to plan ahead. Still, the flavors make it worth visiting when you have the time.“

“This Korean takeout establishment is conveniently located within H-Mart in Falls Church. I have enjoyed trying various dishes here, and today, I opted for the Ox Knee Soup. It was pretty enjoyable, with a rich and flavorful cow bone soup enhanced by some delightful pieces of ox cartilage. The overall quality was satisfactory. The ordering process was efficient, with my food ready in 10 minutes. I appreciated that the staff was not seeking tips, which contributed to a pleasant service experience, and I found the prices reasonable. For those interested in dining, tables and chairs are available for guests.“

“My wife and I came here for the first time and were seriously impressed. The service is next level, the staff is incredibly attentive, and even compared to other Korean BBQ spots that cook and cut the meat for you, the attention to detail here is just that extra 5% better.
The quality of the meat is easily the best we’ve had at any Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia. The sides also stood out, especially the crunchy potato (kind of like a hash brown), which we highly recommend. And the sauces are hands down the best we’ve had anywhere.
Nothing is wildly different on its own.
it’s just that everything is a little better, and that’s what makes Puzukan Tan Korean Grill stand out. We’ll definitely be back.“
“We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Seoul Prime last night. The private room was beautifully designed and provided the perfect atmosphere for a business meeting dinner. “I have been a vegetarian for over 8 years by now and I like finding restaurants showcasing different foods from around the world. House of Milae is one of my favorite restaurants in Bethesda and I love the mix of korean dishes and meals. I really appreciate the staff showing me which recipes on the menu were vegetarian friendly since I am a vegetarian. My favorite ones are the vegetarian kimbap , soju , kibimbap with eggs and vegetables , scallion pancakes , and the starter samples of the mashed potatoes and the kimchi. Gamsahabnida for providing excellent service !“
