“Many times a restaurant attached to a hotel is a hit or miss option. This place has breakfast and lunch, and although we arrived later than breakfast typically would be, what we had was delicious and freshly prepared.
The meals aren't necessarily packaged to cater to five star dining tastes, and my guess is because many people come in and grab their meals to go (it is after all in the title. Brown Bag.)

All of that considered, the place was clean, the food was delicious, and anyone staying at the Hyatt could do much worse than breakfast at this place.
In fact, if you are in the area, they offer quite a menu, compared to most places in the breakfast / lunch market.

“The reviews recently had me worried, but since I remember this place fondly back from when it first opened in Bethesda, I gave it a try upon my return.

The sandwiches are expensive, but high quality. Yes the staff mostly ignore you unless you indicate that you want their attention, b/c there are kiosks for you to order at. They do seem to be quick to make the order, and show attention to cleanliness.

The amount of food for the price seems entirely standard - the attached pictures are of a whole Surfside but this is only half of the Broad Street (after I ate the other half:-).

Parking: standard for Bethesda - this is meant for walkability not parking

Wheelchair accessibility: there is a gentle ramp incline at the door and everything else is level“

“Lucy and her team are wonderful and friendly. The food is great, and reasonably priced. I haven't worked in the area for years, but anytime I'm around I stop in to get something and chat with Lucy. She remembers EVERYTHING, your favorite order, your family, everything. She's a good soul. Most of the negative reviews here seem every general and likely fake.“

“I'm rewriting this cause I read that restaurants can't see Uber Eats reviews. I'm grateful that Uber allows me to pick a different Subway other than the one closest to me. The Subway near me spreads Tuna like butter even if I order double. This Subways ingredients taste fresher and they actually add double when you ask. The attention to detail when they not only put it in a proper paper delivery bag and not a thin transparent plastic one. They also doubled the bag I guess due to the weather and weight. Whom ever worked on my order tonight I hope you easily succeed in everyway in all of life's next moments. Thanks:)“
