“I didn’t hear about this restaurant until my coworker came across from it. So I decided to try it since he mentioned it’s a Malaysian cuisine. Coming from a Malaysian, their Nasi Goreng was delicious. The egg was perfect cooked correctly. For some reason I confused between Nasi Goreng with Nasi Lemak (but hey, if you add Nasi Lemak to the menu, I’ll come all the time ;)) My boyfriend got Drunken Noodle since he’s a “drunken noodle expert”. We had asked for spicy but the noodle wasn’t spicy, he likes it very spicy. I tried it and it was good. Not the best that we tried elsewhere but it was good. It had the aroma, taste but it could use a little KICK. The scallion pancake was AMAZING. I could just eat that all the time. Not a lot of scallions, I felt like they sprinkled it but I don’t care it still taste amazing. It came with 3 pancakes and I’m telling you when I picked it up it was still piping hot! It only take them 10 minutes to cook 4 items which was fast! We also ordered Chicken Satay, I was a little bit sus about the chicken. It didn’t taste like chicken. It tasted like tofu…. The peanut sauce that came with it taste great! Taste like back home. I’m actually satisfied about eating here and I can see myself coming back. We parked in the front 1 hour parking we came after 7pm so there’s no parking exception beside 1hr parking. But before 6pm there are parking restrictions. The owner was very nice I think you all would enjoy eating here. I will try other items in the menu when I come back again. I work down the street so it’s very convenient :)“

“We have nothing but great dining experiences at Rimtang. It’s our go-to Thai spot in Georgetown and always hits the spot. Our favorite dishes are the crab dumplings, the ka praw with pork (add an egg!), and the pad see ew. Service is always on point, they have a kind and attentive staff. Highly recommend!“

“Really great Thai place at Eastern Market! The interior is so fun and trendy and they have wine and beer and cocktails, a very cute bar! Will definitely be visiting regularly. We did the papaya salads for lighter fare. The spice level was perfect and you can ask for spicier if you want to.“

“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! “I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “Eatsy Thai is excellent. I always get the drunken noodles with shrimp and am never left disappointed.

All the other dishes I’ve tried have also been very good. It’s also convenient as they stay open much later than other restaurants in the Eden Center.

“My wife and I were here on business for a couple of weeks and saw this place when we Googled Thai food this place popped up. Well worth the 4.7 stars and more. We had Shrimp Khao Pad and Pad Thai. Both dishes were delicious and more than enough in portion. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely eat here again and recommended dining for anyone looking for a Thai fix. Price was great as well….$37 for both meals and a hot Ginger tea. Thank you Happy Thai for an enjoyable meal!“

One thing that would make this place a 6/5 is if they can officially say their sushi is gluten free— which feels like a really small ask 🙏🏼“

“I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. I had a third, wonderful experience and i highly recommend it!“

“Had a late lunch and everything was delicious and food came out nice and hot. Daughter had two orders of dumplings, which were tender and filled with pork. I had panang curry with fried tofu. The vegetable and tofu were cooked perfectly. The curry sauce had the perfect amount of heat. My husband had the panang curry with chicken. It was also perfectly cooked and delicious. “Wow. One of the best Thai restaurant I had in awhile. Noting about the menu is Americanize and true Thia taste . Being that I am half Laos I love the laos papaya salad here because a lot of thai Resturant try to do laos papaya salad and it just don’t taste the same . The chef is actually laos . The Resturant is calm and soothing atmosphere , good for intimate dinner or family gatherings.“

“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

I've been a loyal customer here since around 2014, back when it was Sah La Thai, and the quality has never dropped. The service is always good, and the food is consistently fresh. My son and I agree: the rice dishes, noodles, sushi, and wings are all absolutely yummy and our go-to favorites. A true neighborhood staple.“

“This is the best thai restaurant in NoVA, owned by such a lovely family, who also used to own Happy Thai near Mosaic. We know because we used to go to Happy Thai all the time but since the owner change it wasn’t the same. Through luck we learned that the owner family actually owned this restaurant first!
