“We were staying a few blocks away and found this place while walking the avenue. We went the night before leaving OC and were sorry we hadn't found it sooner or else we would have been back. The place was busy for a Saturday night, and we went about 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour until 6pm. We were seated upstairs right away and had drinks and appetizers to start. the entrees came shortly after, and all was good! The server (Tenijah) was great! She had a great personality, a nice smile and checked on us the whole time we were there. She actually told us that she had only been there a couple of weeks, which we found hard to believe because she was excellent. She also told us that you are open all year .We will definitely be back.“

“We heard our favorite bartender Jen Lowe was back on Wednesdays night so we booked and extra night to be able to stop by the Shark to say Hello. Happy hour at the Shark is our favorite place to go while visiting the Ocean. This was night number 3 for us this trip and as always the food was delicious maybe better than in years past. Always fresh served hot and always with a warn friendly smile. It’s always good to go the a place that’s has a feel like “Cheer’s “ atmosphere. Where they greet you like family and make sure you leave happy and looking forward to your next visit. So visit the Shark the best food in all of Ocean City.“

“Yes we did wait on hour for our table but we went at 6:30pm and it’s a small place. We had drinks at the bar and they were delicious! Our waiter Devyn was amazing! He was so friendly and took all of our jokes like a trooper lol. Food was so delicious and we will be definitely go back on our next visit to Bethany Beach!!“

“While on vacation we took our daughter here for her birthday, along with a couple of her friends. Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly, but not overbearing. The food, how can I put it into words? You absolutely have to try the creamy crab soup; your tongue will be forever grateful. Crab cakes are some of the best you'll find. I had the fish tacos and all the wonderful flavors were almost overwhelming. If you are near Bethany Beach and are looking for great seafood with a nice atmosphere, I can't recommend the Blue Crab enough.“

“The service was great, the food was great, period. Other places should take notes, this is how an oyster fritter sandwich is done. It was light and crispy with plenty of oysters. The fritter takes up the whole slice of bread. This sandwich is a good deal at $12. I have to warn you though, get there early, they sell out pretty quickly and when you try one, you will understand why. If you love oysters, give this place a try. You won't regret it.“

“Our third time there - always great! Our server Monica was terrific. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was a bit expensive but was great! I had two oyster shooters, my wife had a cherry lime aid crush - excellent. I had the scallops and my wife had braised short ribs. All cooked perfectly. We were given a nice choice of tables on the bay. Wife had the mud slide cake for dessert. Very yummy. Hard to find solid places to eat in OC. This one has held up quite well. Will be back again!“

My son and his father recently ate here while visiting Ocean City, and after he came back home to St. Mary’s County, we realized his phone had been left behind. When I called the restaurant, not only did they confirm they had it, but the manager, Johnny, immediately offered to send it back to us. He asked for my address and shipped it straight to our home — no charge, no hassle, no questions asked. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this went above and beyond anything I could have expected. This level of kindness, honesty, and genuine care for customers is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of people who run this restaurant. Even though we live hours away, they treated us like locals and family. “As someone who has vacationed to OC three times. We have never been to a higher end restaurant before and had no idea what to expect. The added 20 percent was a bit confusing but the food was delicious, the staff was amazing and it was a great experience for sure. I definitely didn't expect to spend what we did but it was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was worth it for sure!“

Our server Natalie was super friendly, and everything we ordered was excellent, the mozzarella sticks were classic but perfectly cooked, the Assawoman combo (scallops, shrimp, and tuna bites) was outstanding, the chicken sandwich had amazing sauce, the fries were hot, the coleslaw was delicious, and the drinks were great. “We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“
