“We've eaten there before. This was a take-out. We got there early. Our order was not ready, which I appreciated. (would have been cold had I been on time) Everything was very well packaged and brought up exactly on time. The stuff portobello was excellent as always. The angel hair pasta with garlic wine sauce and spinach was a bit bland, corrected with salt. The strawberry salmon salad would have been excellent if the salmon wasn't overdone. It was still very good. We did not care for the crab soup. 2 very nice side salads and yummy bread. Large portions. One of the servers offered us water while we waited which was very nice.“

“Alekos was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and every bite was full of flavor. The drinks were phenomenal — truly some of the best crafted cocktails I’ve had in a while. They’re top-notch, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet like so many places tend to make them. A special shoutout to Liz the bartender, who was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in what she creates behind the bar. Her cocktails were spot-on and elevated the entire experience. If you’re looking for great food, expertly made drinks, and excellent service, Alekos is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“My husband and I have been dining at Little Alex’s for around 5 years now but today I felt compelled to make a review! The food is ALWAYS delicious & it’s the only local pizza that gets close to pizza from my home town. In addition I want to comment on how CLEAN their restaurant is & what got me today is that this is the first time I’ve used their restroom in-house and it was SOOOO CLEAN. That speaks volumes to me. The floor, the walls, the toilet, the sink - spotless. It didn’t have any spell to it and it is clear that they take great pride in their space. “Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable“

“This will be more of a staff review than the Vineyard itself. This past weekend we attended the “End Of Summer Bash” as we do every year. An awesome day turned into a problematic evening as somehow we managed to lock our keys, both cell phones and the rest of our “lives” inside our vehicle.
As the crowd was leaving and the Big Cork Team was starting to clean up after a LONG day, I walked inside to look for some kind, any kind, of help. Jennifer was working at the main counter inside and instantly started searching for an answer to our problem….again, OUR problem. She offered us the use of her personal vehicle to drive home and get our extra set of keys. I told her that we lived 45 minutes from the Vineyard and therefore would be 1 1/2 hours until I returned! “No problem” was the response. Keep in mind she had no idea who we were….we drove her almost new vehicle to Greencastle, PA and back. I don’t know how many people would have done the same but my bet is not many!
Thanks to the hard working staff at Big Cork for a great day, especially Jennifer, you’re kindness is something that we rarely experience these days!

“The food used to be awesome! Now every time we eat there the chicken is hard and overcooked. I order 3 pc chicken dark and the skin is so hard most of the meat comes off along with the hard skin. Please stop overcooking 😩“

“Everything we had was on point. Birria tacos were well balanced between meat and cheese, shells were grilled to crispy perfection, consomme was tasty and spiced. All without a ton of grease. Beans were creamy and hearty. Chicken and carnitas tacos were also very good. Tamarind agua frescas were very tasty. Definitely recommend.“

“I fell in love with hard ciders in the 2000s in England. I dont mean the commercial stuff at the city sports bars. I mean the hazy, profoundly complex brews that are naturally fermented found at rural pubs. Those are truly flavorful bevies with tannins and astringency - swirling with earthy and herbal notes and deeply fruity aromas cut with satisfying vinous tartness. The aftertaste just goes on forever. And each of these ciders were unique with their own strong personalities. After returning to the US, I was unable to find this kind of cider, despite visiting as many as i could find in california, virginia and various atlantic coastal regions. Today i found it again here! The first sip brought tears to my eyes. This is true cider! i could keep writing but it cannot capture the magical liquid Eric captures in his bottles! Also, please dont review if you have already made up your mind that cider should only taste like angry orchard, strong bow or bold rock. These ciders are categorically different from those; as different as coors is from belgian lambics.“

“I wont be forced into leaving a 18% tip and then leaving a space for another tip, be careful could screw yourself from 40 % of you bill..... the food is awesome, but a forced tip will be my last trip in the door. sucks to see this forced tipping trend, I will tip at my own discretion, but as I said never again til the 18% is removed. plus a 28 dollar piece of salmon if you want rice becomes 32, because thats 4 more dollars they dont tell you about, so with all the add ons and forced tips and 28 dollar salmon becomes 38 dollars....Definitely good but reduliculous hidden pricing.“

The restraunt and the restrooms were both very clean. Our server was training a new server however our service was still excellent.“
