“My experience at Oleum was wonderful. Let me be clear and say that I am not vegan. I live by the motto that bacon makes everything better! I sometimes have meals that are vegetarian, but almost never vegan. Why? Because most of the vegan choices I've had are bland, filled with fluff, and just questionable.

That was not the case at Oleum. First, there are a plethora of choices for everyone, in all the categories from starters to mains and desserts.

Everything that came out was delicious. There is thought placed into every dish and each ingredient serves a purpose. It is rare to find such a culinary delight.

I can imagine that for vegans whether for health reasons, or personal choice, finding a good place to eat that you can trust would be difficult. But look no further. This is your place. And for the skeptical carnivores, that simply are looking for something different, a new adventure, or just good food, try Oleum. You won't be disappointed.

“This insomnia location is clean and quaint. My baker Keshia was friendly and made recommendations for me. She is great at upselling because I purchased more than I came to get but that is me not having self-restraint once it comes to Insomnia Cookies. I tried the limited time Cloud 9 Cravings cookie and it was delicious. You get a taste of that buttery sugar cookie and then is hit with the marshmallow. The cookie was done right, not too sweet but just the right amount to satisfy a sweet tooth. Looking forward to coming back for this cookie and the Campfire S’mores once it comes back again.“

“For a brunch spot, it’s very quaint and nice inside, the food (I had the Elvis pancakes) were good, as well as the drinks. Only two drawbacks: It can get pricey (they charge $5 extra just for 3 slices of bacon if your meal doesn’t come with it, which is wild), and the diner’s demographics aren’t really diverse. Otherwise, it’s a nice spot with the biggest perk being all day brunch.“

I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. I will be honest, I was hesitant to try this place because my expectations were really high given my past experience with the cuisine.

Kai has brought an exceptionally superior Vegan cuisine to our area and even with the Baltimore metro area’s rise in Vegan restaurants Dodah’s Kitchen is clearly one of the best, and absolutely should be the restaurant on everyone’s “bucket” list. Meet Kai, talk with her and one will soon realize that Dodah’s is a literal extension, an aspect of her being. She is meticulous and one of the best definitions: (taking, showing, or involving great care and effort) Synonyms for meticulous: careful, conscientious, fussy, loving, painstaking, scrupulous, and to me, this reminds me of Mama in the kitchen !! and with that, we don’t even have to talk about the food.“

He got the chicken jambalaya and I got the seafood and let me tell you it was AMAZING!! It was way too much for lunch I felt like I needed a nap after eating all that but man it was fantastic. The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. “Came here at a busy lunch hour.
(The crowd was all for pickup but they do have good dine-in space too.)
Yet, the quality of the food, the taste and spice was so good.
Had the egg white noodles 🍜 with mushrooms, spiced Breadcrumbs, spicy garlic sauce and parsley. Was so flavorful. Good quantity.

“If you have gluten or dairy allergies, this place is Heaven! My daughter swears the staff here are magical fairies because no human can make food this good that is GF and DF! Beyond that, they also have the best customer service of anyone around! Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Everything we have had here has been amazing!“
