Chicken Restaurants near Capitol Heights

“Love this place even tho I’m not a cashier there but Just a runner I love serving people and hope they would keep me working at this place Just as a runner❤️.“

“It was a pleasurable experience. After not eating there for several years I found that the chicken was very tasty...not too salty as it had been in the past. The green beans were seasoned just right. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially the young man who assisted us coming( my friend with handicap disability) and while being seated in the dinning area. A vote of thanks to KFC and it's staff is deserving.“

“The crispy mushroom sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever. So crispy and full of flavor. Mac n cheese was pretty top shelf as well. Fast and friendly service.“

“Blue and White is Alexandria,VA (Old Town) staple. It a small carryout style establishment. They service all types of breakfast and lunch. Please check their menu to confirm that this is your style of food preference. No vegetarian options. If you are looking for a quick, tasty option, check it out.

Tip: Type in Blue and white carry out and you will get plenty of content of what the building looks like and types of food they serve there.

Enjoy!“

“Octavian at Roaming Rooster in Bladensburg provided excellent customer service. He has the perfect mixture of attentiveness, efficiency, and enthusiastic service. And the food was delicious. As a first time customer I was impressed and will definitely return to this location“

“I had an excellent bahn mi and cocktail at Momo. I don’t normally get beef in them, but I’m glad I did here, it was top quality! The atmosphere was very casual, and fun with records on the wall. Good music selection. The food came out pretty fast too, which was nice because I was going to a show. Definitely try them out. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu“

“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. She said she had the same experience I had- life changing! If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich, this is the place to go!“

“I had a great experience at Popeyes! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted me with a smile, took my order quickly, and made sure everything was correct.

The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were seasoned just right, and the biscuits were warm and delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.

The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere. Even though it was busy, the service was fast, and the employees worked efficiently while still being polite and attentive.

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. I will definitely come back again and would highly recommend this Popeyes to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great dining experience. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!“

“Absolutely obsessed with this chicken! Been going here for years now. I always crave their chicken tenders because they're 1) humongous 2) spicy and 3) they have a variety of delicious dipping sauces. Food always comes out super fast, only have to wait ~10 min every time. Love it.“

“The waffle were delicious!“

“we LOVE Chick-fil-A anywhere, but this new on in DC is Amaaaaaaazing!!! Clean and neat! The staff is SO friendly! The owner is awesome and helps the community.“

“I’ve dined here a few times now, and each experience was great. Excellent food, cocktails, and service. And it’s much more than fried chicken — there’s variety and wonderful flavor combinations to be had. The space is a little tight, but it’s part of the charm. Happy to support this gem!“

“🌶❤️🌶 We love the delicious chicken at Nando’s! They have awesome vegetarian items as well! Get the warm pastels de Natas for dessert. Life changing!!“

“Very nicely priced tasty dinners- half chicken with suitably prepared sides- plantains, rice and beans, vegetable rice. Spicy sauces also can kick up the flavor a notch. Pleasant courteous professional staff in a clean well lighted place. I will recommend to come here“

“Both the service and food were outstanding 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟The spicy miso soup was delicious, and the noodles were incredibly chewy. I loved it!“

“Best chicken!! Hope they will open a store in FL“

“Tried the tender bite meal for the first time and love it. My wife had the salad with the grilled chicken and it was delicious. And always have to get one of the shakes! My favorite Grimes fast food!“

“The combination between African and Portuguese is espectacular!“

“Five stars. What sets Anthology apart is the people.

From the leasing office to the concierge desk to the maintenance and facilities teams, everyone treats you like family. They care, and it shows in the small things: a warm welcome when you walk in, a quick response when something needs fixing, and the sense that you are known, not just another resident. Great people make this place feel like home.

The apartment itself is beautiful. The industrial aesthetic gives the space real character without feeling cold. My view of the Capitol is amazing, and the location could not be better. I am moments from H Street, Union Station, and Union Market, so restaurants, transit, and the rest of the neighborhood are right outside the door.

Wonderful location, wonderful staff, and a place I could not recommend enough.“

“The Chicken wings here at bbq Chicken and so scrumptious. They're consistently mouth watering and finger licking special. In particular is this the so with the honey garlic. The flavors and the cook are perfectly balanced. They're maybe a dollar more than say Wingstop, but oh man it's worth it and more. Can't go wrong with bbq Chicken.“

“The food here was absolutely amazing. They had so many different options the chicken is, especially the best. It's pretty juicy chicken, with extremely crunchy.Outside the flavor is amazing.I'd recommend going a little bit harder than you think. It is the location is spectacular, as it's literally inside of a shopping center. They have super kind staff, and I truly mean it.I ask them for extra crunchy, and they with a smile made it.Which is such a kind gesture?I'm so thrilled by this amazing place. This i'm definitely coming back when I come to d c the next time.Love this place. And here's a photo of my sandwich or the nuggets“

“Great Food!!! Need one in Ann Arundle county🥰“

“Ordering was super easy, and the food variety is amazing! I ordered BBQ and pasta, and I love that there’s something for everyone. The variety makes it a great choice for groups with different tastes, so everyone can find something they’ll enjoy. Everything was convenient and easy to order. Highly recommend!“

“I was feeling home sick, I seen NY sigh and wanted to try and I'm so happy I did. If you from New York then you know Kenny chicken and it tastes just like it, omg. If know, know lol. Such amazing customer service on top of great food. I will be back.“

“Food was good but they cheap with sauce. You bought 1 order of 1/2chicken w/2sides you get the same amount of sauce for 4 orders of 1/2 chicken. This is in Bowie Md location. I guess I am not coming back there again.“

“First time even hearing about peri peri chicken but wanted to be adventurous. Every single item of my order was filled incredible flavor. I’m talking lick you lips and ask for more type flavor. It’s the one place I have revisit once I’m back. 🥰🥰“

“hi I just wanted to write a quick review about this place the people working here are amazing so kind patient and nice its my go to place I get the mix fajita its the bomb and other times I get fried chicken basically fried stuff make sure to check out.“

“The shrimp and chicken fajita was super delicious. Very generous serving, too! It is my new fave.“

“The manager John at this location is a 10/10. We can’t thank him enough for his kindness and for making us feel how we did. His entire team was warm, polite and made us feel welcome- especially Michael who first took our order. He even made me a special coffee for my long trip post meal. The whole team Pitched in to help us find our son’s missing stuffed animal and while we didn’t find it, the effort put in was tremendous. We are unsure if someone in the community picked up a small stuffed black cat at this location but we are offering a reward if anyone did and can mail it to us. My 2.5 year old son adores this stuffed animal and is so sad it’s missing. The store has our information/you can message me here if you have any information. Thank you to anyone and everyone in advance and especially the team at Chick-fil-A for making a difference in our day.“

“Good food all around. Girl at the register obviously doesn't like her job or people...either way, not the place to be working as a cashier...but I don't want to dwell on just a single negative as the other 15 positives stand out!👍🏼 Restrooms were clean & maintained. Overall 4.5 Stars!👍🏼“

“Awesome food and great service!“

“I swear the chicken tasted like it had national funding 😭🍗 Somehow it was too good — like suspiciously good. Crispy, perfect, life-changing. I walked in expecting fast food and left questioning every other Popeyes I’ve ever had.“

“So delicious! Wish I would have taken a picture but it was so good I couldn't stop eating! There will be a next time! Hands down the best flavored Peruvian I've had. You can taste the seasonings and you can taste that smoky charcoal grilling! Side's are delicious too!“

“The little ladies inside at the register are AMAZING, one of the cooks, an older woman, ALWAYS has smile and wave, another older woman is so very nice. Another younger woman i caught frowning at me 1 time.

It's unfortunate to the business that it is where it is otherwise the atmosphere. What get a higher for me?It's not the fault of the business. It's just it being located in fordsville. But the atmosphere is never a place of drama, so I would give it about a 3.8 just not a 4.“

“Super good fav spot to go ea alone and family. And here serves is so good and he rea out like family.“

“I would love to jion them again“

“Their food is the best my favorite is torta mexicana ,pescado frito their fries taste so delicious dip in there white sauce I also Love their customer service and how family-friendly they are . There dessert is die for .“

“Fresh, Flavorful & Definitely Worth It!
The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! The portions were generous enough that I had plenty of fajitas for two full meals, which made the experience even better.

I also love that they are vegetarian-friendly and offer a great mix of meat and seafood options. There’s something for everyone, and everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying.

Great portions, fresh ingredients, and delicious food—I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“Izzy is the owner of this establishment, and it is evident in the quality and care put into every aspect of the experience. The chicken was fresh, flavorful, and exceptionally well-prepared honestly better than Popeyes. The customer service was outstanding: professional, welcoming, and attentive. Overall, I had an excellent experience and will certainly return. I highly recommend this establishment.“

“Every time I come from NC to visit my daughter in DC I stop in this place. As a Peruvian I must say this is the authentic peruvian chicken, the taste of the pollo a la brasa is exquisite. The sides are also fantastic. The customer service is also wonderful, thank you to Juan and Wendy. Please keep the good job!“
