“My mom and I went here spur of the moment and OMG was this the BEST food and BEST service we have gotten. Our waitress, Olga, was beyond amazing. Explained everything with passion and great detail. The food was unbelievable! Everything tasted like it was just as fresh as possible. My mom mentioned at least 7 times that she could not wait to bring my dad here haha thank you!“

“What a fantastic meal my husband and our son had. Son has been to many restaurants around the world and we all thoroughly enjoyed this one. We tried many different dishes and split them . These included the sour dough bread , liver pate, Sussex smokie, mackerel and of course had a delicious dessert after. The service and the food were fantastic.“

“The Capital Grill is our favorite restaurant especially for special occasions. Our most recent dining was on the occasion of our 52nd Wedding Anniversary. As always, excellent Menu selection superb wait staff. I cannot recall the gentleman who served us however, upon seeing him, recalled that with the assistance of another member of the staff on the occasion of my wife's 70th Birthday took great care of us.“

“food and wine were good but the noise level in the one room where we were seated was way too loud. Particularly after one loud group joined, we could hardly hear each other talk, although we were across the room. They need to add some acoustical panels.“

“We ate outside otherwise the noise level likely would have been higher. Service was excellent throughout. I went knowing what I wanted. The vegetarian options are limited but excellent. I had the black lentil bolognese after sharing the guacamole toast (the guacamole is plentiful on top of the toast). The “indulgences” are always a perfect treat at the end, never overkill like desserts often are.“

“I've been eating steaks for decades. It took 40 years to find the best steak in....well...actually the world (because I've had steaks from Taiwan to Bogota) right here at Tagliata. It was the best.“

“We had the most delicious dinner this evening! Our server, Lorri, was very attentive and so personable. The food was simply outstanding! We had the calamari, fried cauliflower and whipped ricotta appetizer. All were so delicious and the presentation was lovely. For dinner, we sampled the burger, chicken Marsala, and Porchetta. Each was unique and so tasty. We finished with homemade raspberry sorbet and the somores dessert which were both very yummy. The cocktails were also very good! I can’t believe we didn’t find this “gem” earlier!!!! We can’t wait to come again!!!“

“Oscars Alehouse in Pasadena is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and welcoming — the kind of place that instantly feels like your new favorite hangout. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance between laid-back and professional. The beer selection? Phenomenal. Whether you're into local craft brews, seasonal specialties, or classic favorites, there's something for every palate. And the bartenders really know their stuff — they’re happy to make recommendations and even offer samples if you’re undecided. The food is way beyond typical pub fare. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked, the wings are legendary, and the crab dip? Just wow. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every dish. Add in live music, TVs for the game, and a crowd that’s always upbeat — it’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Whether you're out with friends, on a casual date, or just grabbing a solo pint, Oscars Alehouse delivers every time. Highly recommend checking it out — you won’t be disappointed! And hey, if you guys at Oscars are reading these reviews — just a quick heads-up: why aren’t the comments left on your Facebook reviews visible? It’d be great to see the community’s feedback and conversations. Either way, keep doing what you’re doing — you’ve got something special here!“

“Different Cheesesteak #1201. I got the White Truffle Lamb Cheesesteak. 1st my old man rant, I can’t believe what people are paying for craft beer/food. ‘Do you want sweet potato fries with that?’ Implied fries come with the cheesesteak. Back to our regularly scheduled review. I love what is going on down on the Baltimore Peninsula. I saw ‘Baltimore Peninsula’ painted on the side of a building so I assumed they were talking about the area I was in. Fun place, good crowd and good energy. The description of the WTL cheesesteak sounded very good. It did not pass the eye test. I expected the roll to be sub (philly) par and it was. It didn’t look good but it tasted amazing. All the parts worked very well together. The sweet potato fries were probably worth the extra $2.50. $20 for the WTL Cheesesteak, $2.50 for fries and $8.75 for a draft. If you follow me you know I am not a fan of these prices. With that said, I will be back to try the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Mac & Beer Cheese w/crumbled bacon. The bartender was pleasant and professional.“

“Very nice! The steak and cheese sub was one of the best I've ever had! Give it a try - it's not the old Morsbergers - but retains much of the Catonsville charm and ambience. Very well done!“
