“Giving this place a solid 5 for overall experienceI stopped by Junction for lunch with a friend and this was my first time here.I got a bit overwhelmed at first because they have a few different menus and also one posted on the wall.I proceeded to ask the waitress what her favorite dishes were and she said “there’s a lot that I like” I liked her response because It means she tried a lot of the dishes and there really isn’t much you could go wrong with. She began going into detail about the different dishes and that made me feel really comfortable because while she was explaining I was reading the menu and she was spot on. She spoke with so much passion I was excited to enjoy my meal.We ordered a set of wings, the drunken fish combo and the $5 happy hour punch. & not to mention there Happy Hour is Monday- Friday 11-8pm! I love It here! lolI like my wing fried hard which they weren’t but they were cooked well. The fish sandwich was HUGE & crunch my on the outside but soft on the inside. The fries were my favorite- so tasty.The drink was not your typical rum punch which was a nice touch but was definitely not expecting that.I would definitely come again and maybe next time try some of the baked goods!Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely welcomed!“
“I loved this spot! We went around 4 PM on a Tuesday and it was lovely, quiet, and delicious. The staff clearly love being there and provided top notch service, with several recommendations. The not-pizza’s are pretty big, so one was enough to split when we ordered hummus, the carrots, and the olives too. “I had tons of gelato when I traveled to Italy with one of our favorite spots being Venchi. Since coming back, we've tried other gelato places but none have been anything like what we had there. Imagine how giddy I was to find out that the same Venchi was located in the States and close to my house!! We promptly tried the stracciatella ( my daughter's favorite) and it immediately took us back. It was rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and delicious just like I remembered. We will definitely be back!“
“Stopped by for the first time and got the Normande tart. It was delicious. I also got a lemon cake, but we're saving it for later.The staff was friendly and very helpful. He recommended eating the tart a bit warm to really get the best flavor, and he was right. “I visited the West End location with my husband while visiting DC and had a phenomenal experience. Aside from the food being absolutely to die for, the customer service is really what impressed me. At the register, we were greeted by an older black woman who was so kind to share suggestions and explain the menu to me despite being very busy. It truly made the ordering experience a breeze. My latte was delivered by a younger light skinned black male and I am not sure where he received his customer service training by but by far he’s got it down pat. After delivering my order he told me, “have a nice day, okay?” but it wasn’t just a pleasantry, it truly seemed like a genuine request. I am beyond impressed with the food, ambiance, and customer service provided!“

Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

“This place is a neighborhood classic. They keep the prices low (by Arlington standards) and the decor is awesome "mom's kitchen throwback". May it never, never change. I don't love everything they make, but since they make about 87,000 different things, you can find something. Their emphasis is old style German baking with Christian and Jewish calendar seasonal flourishes. This is, for instance, the first place I ever had a "hot cross bun"-- like in the children's poems. (They had them for Easter). And they have a great sandwich bar where I always get egg salad. The quiches are good too. They have coffee and real German sausages that look delicious too. And a nice seating area in front of a huge window. There's always room. So basically, you could spend all day here eating, drinking coffee, reading, looking out the window, and planning your next meal. That would be a great day. (PS: parking is annoying but do-able)“

“I decided to come here since I wanted a pretzel and it did not disappoint. It is a small place with only a couple of seats. I got the sweet pretzel and it seemed like a normal size for one person. “I love Pasha Castle! All of the treats are delightful. The staff was very helpful, and we were able to taste test some things to help make our decision- which wasn’t easy with some many delicious options. The Pasha Special is to die for, and the Turkish Delight options make me feel at home. The only downside to this place is that there are limited seating options, and the atmosphere and design are very minimalistic for those who might want to eat there treats while here instead of taking them to-go.“

I bought an decaf iced Oat milk Mocha was delicious and several pastries, like the croissant, chocolate chip cookie, and banana loaf was demolished by me and friends in minutes. “I stop in here almost weekly, and the lattes have been great! The first time I went I also had the coffee cake which was really good & soft as well. Even at the end of their day I was greeted with a cheery bonjour and was able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of a great coffee break. I have to note that on my visit last week I left without being able to order as it seemed as though the one person working was taking out trash and must’ve not seen me & the other gentleman that were perusing the shop…but I’m sure it was just an oversight as I’ve been told that this area can be pretty slow on Tuesday afternoons. “Manoa's bingsoo is the only one I like to get in NOVA. Their ice is shaved so finely it looks like coconut shavings and they never melt even in the heat of the summer. I love all the toppings they include (mochi, corn flakes, flavored condensed milk, and ice cream). I know before they used to layer the toppings with the ice, but I still think that there's a good enough amount. They have so many bakery items inside and I like their outdoor seating as well. I've ordered some food too and it seems like they make everything to order which I appreciate. It's a nice place to go study, meet with friends, or go to for dessert after some KBBQ.“

“I got the chocolate croissant, and was really surprised when I realized it was a whole wheat croissant. The first whole wheat croissant I've ever had, and it really adds a nice nutty flavor to the croissant. The texture of the inside is also a bit chewier than your average croissant, with a lovely crisp on the outside. I just wish there was a bit more chocolate, but the croissant itself was wonderful, and I'm super glad I got to try the whole wheat. I also got a cortado, which was just ok. This is definitely a bakery first, so would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing some of the pastries!“

“These pretzels were absolutely delicious. We tried the original, garlic, onion, and jalapeño varieties. The pretzel roll was also delicious. Note that these are made to order and that you'll need to order from the website and they'll bring them out to your car. The yellow and spicy brown mustard were good, but I hope that they'll offer a larger variety of dips (including some sweet ones like cinnamon sugar or chocolate icing) in the future. Prices were reasonable and allowed for us to try some flavors we wouldn't normally order. The man who picked up the phone was so accommodating and made sure that the customized message had the correct spelling of my name.
