“Our waitress, Danielle, was fantastic! Attentive, friendly, and prompt. This was our first time eating here, and we're saddened we haven't found this sooner! Delicious. We'll be back!Parking: Plenty of free parking just outside.“

“Buzzy place, quite busy for Sunday brunch. The cronut was fresh and delicious. The gravlax mezze plate was unusual which is why I ordered it. The food was good. But the music blasting spoiled the experience for me - and I was solo so wasn't trying to chat, which would have been impossible to hear anything!“

“Our waitress Isabella was so wonderful and sweet! We came for my brothers 21st birthday and she gave us amazing service! She was so good about our allergies and special requests. The food was good, seafood tower was really nice, scallops and risotto was quite salty. But the steak ravioli that Isabella suggested was amazing!“

“This review is for 18th & 21st, which is by reservation only. It gives off an upscale "Love Jones" type vibe if you understand the reference. Perfect date night spot with how it's set up and the live music. The staff were fantastic and their food and drink recommendations were on point. Definitely a spot to check out.“

“A throw back deli like the best NY has to offer. You’re as likely to see your old Hebrew school teacher enjoying a white fish platter as you are a landscaping crew chowing down on bagels and lox. Service is quick and courteous; pickle bar is plentiful; sandwiches sumptuous; desserts decadent. Chicken soup and matzah balls like grandma made. Eat al fresco in nice weather. What else do you need?“

“The food here is AMAZING. I'm actually glad this place is far from me and on the expensive side because if it was closer and cheaper I'd be eating here constantly. My table got the waygu egg rolls, Mac and cheese, broccolini, Hawaiian steak, jerk crab cakes, and the jerk lollipop chicken. All of it was on point. Drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. That was probably the only disappointment. Music is a little loud for my liking but it is a minor nit in an absolutely amazing experience.“

“Persimmon has very attentive service, lots of great menu options, and a nice buzzy atmosphere that is cozy and not too loud. Our favorites were the tuna tartare and blue cheese ravioli with truffle sauce. I love that they have so many seafood options. Don't miss the sunset dining from 5-6pm M-F: 3 courses for $45!“

“Family time, good service didn’t wait long for food and it was great! I’ll admit it’s a little on the pricy side but it’s definitely worth it!Kid-friendliness: My kids had fun eating and watching games, also had nice decorations around the restaurant“

“I love coming to this place! Their salads are really good and fresh. Their other entrees on the menu are really good too. I totally recommend! I forgot to get one of the workers’ names but she’s really sweet and always remembers what I like to get! The manager is also really sweet. All of the workers are great!“

“I've been coming here for years with my friends for birthdays and just hangout. I like the ambiance, the food, and the staff. Melissa is our go to waitress, absolutely love her patience, kindness, attention, and professionalism. It's really nice that they revise their menu a little to match the season!“

“Got the Bay Benedict. They make a lighter hollandaise that pairs perfectly with the baby spinach and texture of the crab cake. Perfectly seasoned and super delicious. Place is super busy (always a good sign) but service was still speedy and friendly.A must visit if you're in the area.“

“Today, we celebrated our Dad's 92nd birthday at Seasons 52 and the experience from beginning to end was exceptional. The event coordinator, Andrew (and let's not forget Mark who also stepped in on the day of the event to support our party) was very responsive and reassuring throughout the planning and execution process. The servers Darnell, Aniya and Rose were extremely attentive, anticipated our needs and ensured that everyone was taken care of. The food was delicious and the setting was warm and provided a cozy atmosphere for our party of 40. Thank you Seasons 52 for helping to make our Dad's 92nd birthday a memorable occasion for him and all that attended. If you're looking for a place to hold a special occasion, I highly recommend Seasons 52 for your next event!“

“Fabulous, friendly and welcoming service. Our waiter (maybe Oswin from the receipt?) was particularly good, as were all the staff that delivered wine and food throughout dinner. Excellent menu with tons of delicious, unique, gluten-free options. Great location in the heart of silver spring with easy access to public garage parking. Festive atmosphere on a bustling Friday evening. Highly recommended.“

“We went upstairs to the covered and heated rooftop bar. There were tons of board games to choose from so we decided on trivial pursuit. The beer selection here is phenomenal and I tried my first Lagunitas hoppy refresher, a non alcoholic zero calorie sparkling water with the flavor of refreshing hops! It was the flavor of beer without the calories or the alcohol, brilliant! Our bartender was super fast and very friendly. A great spot to check out if you're in the neighborhood.“

“Came in after a visit at Go Ape nearby. Was famished after all the physical activity. Maya (sp?) our server was bright and friendly. My order was a bit wrong, but I was so hungry I didn't notice at first. The house salad apparently is pre made with the dressing already added? Could have been a quick cover-up (as I asked for blue cheese)and if she's that quick on her she's gonna go places, but it was great none the less. The steak wrap I had was a healthy portion and delicious.“

“NOT TODDLER FRIENDLY. Vibes are off.Is this a fancy upscale restaurant where you experience a quiet atmosphere, enjoy a duck confit quesadilla (it was ok) and have to make a reservation (they turned away 3 parties when we were sitting at the bar and there were open table.. clearly a mismanaged house or kitchen.OR is this a place to pop in for a pint and a burger after playing tennis or kicking a soccer ball around the park next door? The restaurant is not sure. Neither were we.We guessed it was a pop in place. I wish they had just said “no kids at the bar” or something instead of letting me and my husband and our two kids sit down.No crayons or stickers or anything for kids, though there were Elmo’s around the place and it was decorated with some cool vintage toys.At one point the manager or someone told *me* that my kids (2 and 4) need to “stay in their seats”And that my toddler curiously walking up to another kid at another table was “not appropriate” (there was another toddler also walking around… )Oh and he told me this lol when my *husband* was walking around the restaurant with my kids. Always blame the moms! #patriarchyWill not be going back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly“

“This is a great spot with a warm vibe. It looks small in entering, but there's additional seating in the back. The service is excellent too. The food came out in less than 20 minutes, and the portions are a good size. Just enough to fill you, but not so much you have leftovers. I had the salmon burger and fries, both were cooked perfectly - the fries were crisp and the salmon was juicy. Both were too lightly seasoned for me but still enjoyable. I appreciated that neither were salty. I'll be back to try other options.Parking: Street parking may require you to walk a few blocks.“

“Overall experience was great. I ordered a Java nation burger which had very good flavoring. You can tell the chef is experienced from the plating AND by seasoning the burger before hand and not just letting the aioli sauce be the seasoning. I also ordered a brownie with an Americano coffee with a shot of caramel which was delicious. Food was really great at this place. Service was also up to par. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was very relaxed & clean.“

“We came here late on a Saturday afternoon, technically while happy hour was going on, but we chose the dinner menu. My son had the fresh burrata an appetizer (tasty) and hanger steak (good). My husband and I both started with the seasonal soup -- a carrot ginger which felt a bit thin. He and my mom both had the blackened salmon -- she thought it was great and he thought it lacked some flavor. I had the smoked duck breast which was fine -- the side it came with was great. The restaurant wasn't full which meant we could hear well and the hostess became our server was nice -- though maybe a bit nervous. The bathrooms were clear though it felt a bit like a rest stop bathroom -- odd given their menu and prices.“

“Love this restaurant in Silver Spring. 'Consistently great food and good service. Whenever I'm in town, I make time to eat dinner there. You need a reservation for Saturday and Friday evenings. Parking is easy since it is near one of the Wayne Garage entrances. My family likes everything on the menu, but I especially like the tenderloin steak with spinach. I rarely get beef, but it is consistently a moist and tender cut. Cocktails are great, and the food is gourmet quality.Parking: Park in Wayne Street parking garage. There is an exit to Ellsworth, which takes you to an exit that is very near the restaurant.“

“I have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years. It is charming, very dog friendly on their beautiful patio , reasonably priced and delicious!! Tonight we ordered the take out Valentines menu (my husband has a broken ankle) and it was delicious! We have ordered many of their “comfort meals” during Covid and all were very tasty and very generous. My husband is 5’10” and a former football player and I honestly think their meals for two Could feed three! We are so happy to have this great restaurant in our neighborhood.“

“Cool Irish pub, lots of outdoor seating in good weather. Food was pretty good, tried the rib sandwich and it was very good. More of a non-traditional kids menu with such offerings and half a chicken breast or grilled cheese with salad.Parking: Relatively small and oddly shaped lot on site.“

“My wife and I visited the Bethesda location. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. She explained basically they only cook with good oils. Everything is fresh and organic. The terminology today is clean food. My wife ordered a gin and pineapple martini and it was delicious.! They have an open kitchen concept and the cooks bring the food right to you after they prepare it! Which I thought was a great touch and would answer any questions you might have. I ordered the OG burger medium and it came out perfect so juicy and flavorful the grilled onions on the burger were fantastic and it came with a side of roasted baby red potatoes that were. Delicious. My wife ordered a salad with fresh grilled salmon and the salmon was prepared just the way she liked it not pink in the center and not overly done. Definitely a great concept and the food was extremely tasty. I would highly recommend it. They also have outside seating for a pretty spring evening.“

“My partner and I work occasionally at Imagination Stage. This place is perfectly situated just off the main part of busy downtown Bethesda. Very accessible, quick, clean service. I've been to plenty of places in the DMV which claim this "New York" aesthetic and this is the best I've been to so far. The staff is incredibly friendly and always attentive. My partner has made friends with the girl who works the register. I'm sure she does so much for the establishment and it makes the place a comfort to spend some time in. Their selection of drinks and food and other confectionery is really good considering their smaller size. I hope this place keeps going strong because they are always a happy part of my time in Bethesda.“

“I had dinner here for the first time this weekend. The food was delicious, and the service was A+ across the board. My boyfriend jokingly asked the woman who was removing flowers from the tables for a bouquet. To our surprise, she returned 15 minutes later with a small bouquet bound with a rubber band. It was an incredibly sweet gesture and greatly appreciated. I will definitely come back.“

“I have no complaints with this spot. They have nice decor, friendly staff and strong drinks. We had no issue with parking and it’s conveniently located in the heart of GA ave. Most impressive, the plants are real and healthy. Thats a nice touch to the ambience. “Ate brunch here on Easter Sunday and it was AWESOME. The "flexitarian" brunch menu has something for everyone and many vegetarian options. The restaurant was very busy, but the service staff was awesome. We sat outside, and the server was tremendous and attentive. Drinks were good: had bloody Marys and a French Blonde. Food was EXCELLENT. The avocado toast was delicious--some of the best I have had. I also had a Winter Berry Salad, which was tasty fresh, and Eggs Benedict. REALLY enjoyed this meal--our best brunch in D.C. Great menu, A-team service. Left us wanting to come back for more at the Cathedral Heights Silver Diner.“

And the cajun pasta they have, with Chorizo, chicken and Shrimps, is absolutely amazing. The toasted bread they add to it, the perfectly cooked pasta and all the flavors are just delicious. The portions are always more than decent, I rarely go home without leftovers. “Foods pretty good, service is fine. But the main reason to come to the Nude Eel is the MUSIC. They have great bands. And they are careful to keep the volume down - I hate places where the music drowns out everything. I love this place and hope it will be there forever.“

“I recently went to Scratch Kitchen & Bistro in Olney MD. I got some macaroons, a steak, egg, and cheese gluten-free sandwich, and some fresh squeezed orange juice. The sandwich was amazing, even when I brought it home over half an hour later. The steak was thin cut and extremely good, totally cooked right. The farm-fresh eggs were some of the best I've had (which is saying something), and the cheddar cheese was both creamy and hardy, an excellent balance for cheddar. The macaroons were so good and well balanced between sweetness and savory. They were also perfectly fluffed. Fresh squeezed and nothing added, the orange juice was a little pulpy but beyond amazing. It tasted better than blood orange juice I've made at home. definitely the best orange juice I've ever had. Seriously, this place was super epic, and the atmosphere was really nice too. It's a small, cozy little shop that's perfect for a Sunday brunch with grandma and the kids. If it weren't for the fact I lived so far away from it, I would eat there every week, probably more. Seriously, if you want delicious food, friendly staff, and a pleasant experience, go to Scratch Kitchen & Bistro.“

“On St. Patrick's Day, my mom wanted green beer, so we went to The Barking Dog. The gastropub was filled with sports fanatics. Since alcoholic drinks weren't permitted in the patio area, we were seated at a booth near the bathroom. My brother had an O'Doul's, my fiancé had a Crooked Crab Haze for Days Pale Ale, my parent shared a New Trails Crisp Lager (dyed green), and I had a Green Tea Cocktail. We shared an order of Pub Pretzels, which was served warm and with a spicy cheese dipping sauce.“

“I've been to this cute neighborhood spot a few times now. I had only just discovered the previous restaurant in this space before it closed, and had been eagerly awaiting its rebirth as another cute neighborhood spot. All in all, I like it - the food is pretty good, the staff is very nice and you can tell they care, they are still working out some kinks but I think they'll get there. Across my three visits I've had: Chicken parmesan with a caesar Their version of meat lovers pizza Steak & Cheese Egg rolls Corned beef & cabbage (St. Patricks Special, not on the regular menu) and other people in my parties have had a cheese burger french dip fish & chips My favorites have been the pizza and the steak & cheese egg rolls. Their pizza is a MD style, and uses a homemade thin but very crisp crust. The sauce is somewhere in the middle between sweet and savory, and there was a good amount of cheese and toppings on it. It doesn't beat our favorite pizza in the area (Stained Glass is really hard to beat!) but it's quite good and I'd order it again. The steak & cheese egg rolls are definitely not healthy but they are very tasty, with cheese both inside and a dipping sauce. The first time they brought dipping sauce right out of the fridge which is a tactical error, you can't actually dip it when it's hard! But the second time we ordered these they came with a nice lightly warmed and dippable cup. The chicken parm & salad were also good, definitely more of an American style Italian than authentic, but that's not necessarily bad, just different. The sauce was on the sweeter side, the portion was large and I took half home. I'd order this again also. The corned beef & cabbage was ok, but not standout. Usually beef is cut against the grain which makes it easier to eat, but this was cut with the grain so was very chewy. My friend who also ordered it couldn't finish hers because it was too tough. I finished mine, and enjoyed it ok, but I probably would skip it next time. My husband said the burger was pretty good, not GOAT level but solid, he'd order it again. My friend said the french dip was pretty good but he was already cranky because they hadn't had the first item he ordered and it was a very long wait for the replacement. They brought out the meals that they did have while the two people whose item was not available had to wait... probably would have been better to make everyone wait honestly. Again, this is a kink they can probably work out. They did get a flood of people right after we arrived but it would have been better to prioritize the replacement meals for the people who had already ordered and then ten minutes later were told they ran out of the original dish than to make them wait for all the others to get theirs. I didn't hear an opinion on the fish & chips but they looked pretty standard. All in all, we'll keep coming by once in awhile for a nice neighborhood meal, when it's not a peak rush time, and we'll enjoy watching them work out the kinks with some tasty steak & cheese egg rolls.“
