It was worth a try and pretty good but with the froyo house and daily scoop near by, I’d pass this place up.

It seems the daily scoop and always ice cream are co owned…but daily scoop’s ice cream is much creamer and flavorful.“

“This place is attached to the Ledo Pizza. I could not say enough about my positive experience on Wednesday, March 27 due to the amazing service from the girl working tonight who served my parents and I ice cream (around 6:30).She smiled, welcomed us in, offered us a sample, explained the flavors, laughed at my dad’s Dad Joke, and was so warm to us. Based on her smile and service alone, I’d come back here!The ice cream flavors are also so decadent! I got bourbon-something and my Mom said the regular coffee ice cream was great compared to the cappuccino one.“

I said something to the young man working about how I could believe i ordered the wrong thing and the 2 staff members quickly asked about my issue and fixed it without me even asking. “The three person staff was absolutely on top of everything. These were the best hotdogs I’ve had in a long time. The hot dogs are fried to deliciousness. I had mine the classic way. The milkshakes are thick and delicious, but the staff is really where it’s at. Kind, helpful, and fun the staff really brings it to work.“

“This is the second year I’ve ordered my birthday cake from small cakes. Both years the cakes are as gorgeous as they are delicious! I had a very unusual themed event this year and they were so flexible and creative in making my tooth funeral (thanks extraction/implant) themed cake a reality!! I won’t go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and order! They also make custom cupcakes to match. Truly artists at work!“

The young man who took our order and served us was incredibly friendly and helpful and the young lady who rang us up was very friendly as well! I really appreciate the good customer service! ZERO stars if this was an option! I ordered using the Cold Stone app. They used GrubHub to deliver. It took an hour from order to delivery. Upon delivery one of the scoops was half melted and the one pictured arrived EXACTLY how you see it. No, we did not dive in and eat any first. It was completely melted and only half filled. It was supposed to be a kids scoop but instead we received a full chunk of brownie with no attempt of mixing in and a faint white liquid in the bottom I am assuming they were passing off as the ice cream. I hate this location. It looks like they did not place it in the cooler while waiting for the driver to pick up. Every time I say I will NEVER return I always go back and almost immediately regret it. To add injury to insult concerning this experience, I called the store and was passed on to another employee without warning after explaining in great detail. 2nd person said she was the manager, she appeared to be unknowledgeable on how to handle the situation and unwilling to offer a customer recovery resolution. She offered to look into it and call me back. When she did get back with me, she stated I would get a refund for the one that was completely melted. No apology that it arrived that way or not any remorse for one person having to go without ice cream while the other was able to indulge. I have no idea how this place manages to stay in business because they have the worst employees ever. Right across the street Rita's has staff in the same demographic and they offer excellent guest service.“

“Overall enjoyable; we got two sundaes: Peach Cobbler and Strawberry Sundae, which we liked better than the peach.STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE SUNDAEThe strawberry compote is the winner here since you get this sweet syrupy fresh strawberry flavor running through the strawberry ice cream and the graham cracker crumbles don't get moistened by everything going on, maintaining their satisfyingly crumbly texture.PEACH COBBLER SUNDAEGood overall but having a vanilla ice cream base means needing quite a bit going on to make sure you don't just taste vanilla which unfortunately was a lot of what I tasted. The bottom had the peach compote/peaches (which either are canned or simmered as whole slices to make the compote since they were very tender and syrupy). The top had some drizzle which was good but gone after you get that initial layer of ice cream. Not much else texture wise to provide contrast. Maybe use peaches and cream ice cream? Or integrate peaches into the vanilla?The ice cream in general is good - nothing outstanding, but classic and yummy. It's hard to make bad ice cream and it was honestly enjoyable!“
