“I have lived and grown up in NYC and NJ my entire life, and yes, that is relevant to this review.

This is, by far, the best breakfast food I have eaten at a sit down location /in my life/. The coffee was rich and strong but not bitter, the sausage was delicious, the bacon was crispy and not burnt, and the portions and prices were terrific.

A MUST stop if you're staying at the hotel, and worth the trip over if you're just a local.“

“Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. “Literally so cute and the food/drinks were SO GOOD! The owners were very sweet. I got a hot chocolate and a Nutella and banana crepe and both were absolutely amazing. The hot chocolate was creamy and chocolatey and it was also the perfect temperature. I recommend adding whip cream as it really elevated the flavor with the contrasting temperatures. My friend got a turkey and cheese crepe and a caramel Frappuccino, both of which were very tasty. The savory crepe was super yummy and the caramel Frappuccino was sweet and frozen/creamy. “We went on the morning of July 5th, so it was hopping busy, but we expected that and anticipated having to wait. For our party of 2, it was about 45 minutes, so we had some good appetites when we sat.

Our server was McKenna, and that girl was a rockstar! She was perfectly attentive and prompt despite having what seemed like half the tables in the restaurant and a couple of large parties to boot.

I'd never eaten at a First Watch before, and I'll DEFINITELY be back. The seasonal steak bowl I had was fantastic, and my husband, whose family has been First watch regulars for over a decade, ordered the house specialty bacon for the table. Add those two to the list of foods he's gotten me hooked on!

Tl;dr, go with an appetite, be prepared to wait a bit for a table or reserve one over the phone, and try the bacon.“

“This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven't been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.
