“I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“

“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

Speaking of the wait, definitely bring your patience. There seemed to be a disconnect between the servers, kitchen, and host stand. We had a 1:00 PM reservation for the buffet-style breakfast but weren’t seated until around 1:30–1:40, despite several open tables. When we finally got to the buffet, most of the food was gone and we had to wait for it to be replenished.
While the service issues could use improvement, I still recommend giving them a try.“

“We recently tried Sala Thai at Park Kennedy and had a great experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The kapow had a perfect spice level and was full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the crab rangoons and wontons, both were very good. The grilled beef was especially delicious: incredibly tender, flavorful, and paired with a great sauce. We’ll definitely be back.“

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“Red Hound Pizza has become the favorite pizza place in Takoma Park for me and many of my friends who live nearby. Their pizzas are hearty and delicious with a thick, 100% whole wheat crust using flours that are grown and milled by one of their neighbors just down the street. They also use local produce when possible and therefore their veggie pizza rotates every two weeks. They also have soft serve which rotates regularly with fun toppings like roasted pear or dehydrated chocolate cake. The owners are really great. The pizza is on the expensive side ($4-5/slice) compared to other pizza so you gotta pay a premium for high-quality ingredients. They also sell pizza by the slice. You can dine-in for casual eating -- they only have a few small tables inside and some more picnic tables in a closed off parking lot in the back. Take note: their pizza is rectangular! And the crust will taste different from almost any other pizza you've had bc of the 100% whole wheat sourdough. Also they don't have gluten-free options but they do always have a vegan option. fwiw Red Hound always uses 100% whole grains -- this will appeal to some (more protein, more fiber!) and not to others.“

Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

We wanted to retry to have this experience again at another location which is about the same distance from our home which was in Bowie Town Centre.

If you’re a real foodie this spot on Marlboro Pike in District Heights needs to be on your list. Every single thing we ordered was a hit.

The whole red snapper was seasoned perfectly, the whiting and catfish were fried just right, and those sauced wings? Straight addicting.

The chicken cheesesteak and steak & cheese were loaded and flavorful, the fried shrimp was crispy and fresh, and the seafood boil was packed with bold, buttery flavor.

Even the sides stood out — the mixed vegetables and shrimp fried rice were cooked with real care.

Honestly, this is one of those places where you can order anything on the menu and feel confident. No guesswork, just good food.

The fries were good, but it didnt seem like they tossed them in the seasoning, just dumped it on, so it was concentrated in some spots and lacking in others. Apparently they won't give people Xs or stamp their hands, they just don't let you come in if you're under 21. “I'm helping to run a large conference in a venue that won't allow outside food, so I needed somewhere where all the staff/volunteers could quickly run and grab dinner, sit and eat, then run back to the venue to keep working on the conference. Little Beet was one of VERY FEW places nearby that was actually able to accommodate everyone's dietary needs (lots of vegan, gluten free, etc) and have seating/tables. Everyone was extremely complimentary about the food quality and at least a couple people mentioned how thrilled we were that a low FODMAP bowl existed - that's a dietary need that a lot of restaurants won't/can't accommodate. They were extremely accommodating about allowing me to just email in a spreadsheet of food orders, had the food conveniently bagged up for us and labelled with names, and they helped us out at the absolute last minute when we needed to add Friday lunch on top of Saturday dinner. It was really nice to all sit together at the tables/benches outside. I would recommend Little Beet!“

The bartenders are always very nice, the host is always pleasant, & one can always find the manager walking around if needed. This Ruby Tuesday seems to have stood the test of time & the only chain bar in the immediate area. Burgers, wings, steaks & and the pastas are my favorite! The weekday drink specials are such a good deal & if you have the Ruby Tuesday app even better BC there are deals everyday (ex: BOGO, buy one get 2nd for $3, $10 off, free drinks, steaks @ $10, etc....). Between the app deals & the daily drink specials, my bill never comes out to more than $45!!!“
