“Pleasant bakery and pastry shop. While the pastries are tasty, the bread is outstanding - and reasonably priced. Welcoming staff.

Numerous items (including the bread) are not available at opening time, so I recommend waiting at least half hour after posted hours.“

They have year round and seasonal croissants that are delicious. I’m also a fan of their Iced Americanos— very smooth. Today I got an iced americano, hot oat milk latte and a Kouign-amann. All are excellent! :)

“The beignets are made fresh to order. We ordered two orders ( 3 per order) of the powdered sugar beignets and they were ??. We tried the vanilla, strawberry, and raspberry sauces and they made the beignets even better. The vanilla puts you in the mind of a cinnamon roll frosting but better. Beware the powdered sugar beignets can get MESSY so don’t eat them in your car……

The staff were very friendly.

Only downside I there isn’t much seating.

Alejandra who was simply a sweetheart, helped make suggestions/recommendations and she was so pleasant and helpful. I was so impressed with the customer service and the quality of the baked goods. “I contacted Rachel to make treats from my friend who is gluten free and unable to consume dairy. Rachel was extremely patient while we worked through options. I decided on s'mores bars. I could not be happier with the treats! As a vegan of over a decade, I have consumed hundreds of vegan baked goods. The Fetching Goodies bars are on par with desserts from popular - vegan and non-vegan - brick and mortar bakeries. I can promise that an omnivore would not be able to tell that Fetching Goodies treats are dairy free! I highly recommend Fetching Goodies. It was pleasure to support a small business owner who is so thoughtful and talented.“

“Amazing coffee, pastries, sandwiches and breakfast croissants. We have coffee shops in Old Town that are closer to us but make the trip to Grounded because it's that good. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, only one place came to mind for dessert to wow our guests. We didn't want a traditional cake, we wanted something that would have everyone asking us where we got the desert. The items we selected were a hit and recommend for not only visiting but catering.

The coffee shop itself is comfy and cozy. It gets busy on the weekends so make sure to go early if you want to get a breakfast croissant.

“Today is 02/01/2025, 2:18 pm. I went there to get Bolillos, there was a family who had taken all, about 20 pieces, when the fresh got out, they return all the bread they already had to get a fresh bread (thats what they said) they asked an employee if they can change it and the employee said: if you want. That is a nasty thing to do because they had already manipulated the bread and now someone else will take that bread. The owner should educate the employees that no bread should be returned once a customer already touch it. Other than that I recommend this place but that was a very unsafe ans unhealthy thing to do.“

“I ordered a cake online from Alexandria’s Pastry Shop for delivery. My son turned 16 while on a school trip away from home so he was staying at a hotel close (i think😅) to the shop. I thanked them in the comments for being willing to deliver and let them know the occasion. When my son opened the box (which was a surprise to him), not only was there the cake I ordered, but they had a cookie on top and had written “Happy 16th Birthday” on it!🥹 I cried when he told me.
