“First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were good, strong and inexpensive. The food was even better. Definitely a favourite of mine when I want a good drink and some food with it. I had the pork chop sandwich with fries and it was good. Seasoned and fried just right. Definitely two thumbs up for me. The staff were quick and attentive which was really good since the place was a bit crowded. Easy to get too ... right off of 210. Check it out if you haven't.“

“Went there on Friday Sept 8 to see The Binta Campbell Experience and it was AWESOME! She and her band were really good, we enjoyed the "daye night" vibe. The wings were good, but the "crab dip" was definitely NOT crab....it was artichokes 😠🤮😳. and totally disgusting. I paid $15 for some crab dip with 🚫🦀 SMH“

“My son's 19th birthday dinner was amazing. Our service addressed him by his name when he came to the table and wished him happy birthday and the service only got better from there. My family had a nice time and the food and drinks were delicious! Will be back again!“

“Truly a hiddent jewel south of Old Town Alexandria. If I had been blindfolded and didn't know that I entered the establishment via the parking lot of Belle View Shopping Center I would have thought I was in an upscaled restaurant in downtown DC. This has become our favorite date night spot. Delicious food options and creative cocktails along with exceptional service (Brett) made our evening one to remember. I love a well made Old Fashioned and I wasn't disappointed. The secret ingredient of the quarter branch apple brandy took it to next level. We are looking forward to our next date night already!“

“Excellent service. They made our valentines day. We took a chance and dropped in hoping for a seat at the bar which initially looked like it wouldn't happen. Timing and a great manager and hostess made it happen. Takoyaki and dumplings were superb. We loved the lychee martinis. The speakeasy vibe downstairs is quaint and welcoming. We definitely plan to come back. Thankyou for the wonderful memory. 💖“

Sooooo great!!!!! Has only improved since we had to move. New setup is incredible and drinks have surpassed the original menus leaps and bounds! GO HERE!

Sets the bar by which we measure all cocktails. Never disappointed, each menu always multiple amazing options. I can count on my hands the number of times i have got a cocktail someplace else and NOT been totally disappointed in comparison.

Ambience is brilliant, lively but not too loyd. Brilliant date night. Service is always wonderful and light bites are incredible.

Brussel sprouts are the best around and the pork belly is beyond amazing.“

“Best brunch option! Menu has all the favorites to please any appetite. Excellent bloody mary's and coffee. We had a great table right in the front windows and enjoyed some people watching. The staff never rushed us, we sat for hours talking and eating. Fairly spendy (~ &60/ea including tip: shared app, entree, coffee, bloody mary, shared dessert) but very worth it.“

“I’ve been there twice. The first time the Crocker fish was so good. I was telling everyone about it. I went there today and ordered the croaker and okra. The fish didn’t have any seasoning on it at all. So I had to use the hot sauce packs. The first time I didn’t use it. The hot sauce is nasty as well. It’s a bloody red looking color. A cheap brand. The okra and fish both fried correctly just no seasoning. I’m not sure if it’s different cooks or what. For $17 they have to be consistent with the flavor. I’ll try again, if it’s not seasoned again, I will just go for the drinks. Nice crowd and speedy service.“

1. Reservation: recommended if you are coming on Friday or Saturday.

2. Food: very good
- Enjara: the bread made of teff. it is very unique and it was my first time trying it and I loved it
- collared green was good
- yellow split beans were excellent options for vegetarion dish
- red lentils were unique in seasoning.

3. Drinks
they have full bar, mixed drinks and beer and wine options are available.

4. Service: very nice and welcoming

5. Extra: they serve their Ethiopian drink Tej is an aded bonus, it is nothing like I know. Technically a honey-wine.

6. They have LIVE MUSIC!
call and check with them. Artists usually come on Saturdays. Cannot wait to check them out.

“I was in town for work and my cousin that lives in the area swore up and down that this is the best Ethiopian restaurant around. When we got there on Valentines evening, place was packed! Wait was over an hour, and our host Edilawit (great service) called us as soon as bar seats opened up…Waited quite a while for the meal(a star down for that), but meat combo was fire! Combo comes with kitfo (ethiopian beef tartar), gored-gored (cubed rare beef), Gomen be’siga (collard greens and beef) and tibs (stir fried beef) Yum!!! Meat eaters dream. I was doing a little dance in my seat after each bite. I didn’t care for the gored-gored, but the other three were best I’ve had in a long time. What made the whole experience even more enjoyable was feeling like I was truly in Ethiopia with all the Ethiopian patrons there (99%), this is also how one knows if a restaurant is truly authentic;-)
Can’t wait to go back!

I ordered a surf and turf tacos and they were very good with just the right amount of kick. The airport was very busy and there were not a lot of places for a sit down meal pre flight so i was very impressed with the food, the price and the service.“

“Service here was great. My waitress was attentive and provided top notch service. I couldn't ask better from her.

The atmosphere and vibe was good also. Decorated for the holidays really well. The music choice didn't fit the vibe but luckily it was so low I had to focus to hear it.

My only negative was I asked for a medium burger. See photo attached that my burger was well done. Outside of that I couldn't be happier.
