“This place is amazing. When to see a comedy show and we stopped here for a late dinner. I had a New Year strip, and I always have it prepared well done. They prepared it to perfection!!! I know some of you are thinking that well done steak ruins the steak. This steak was well done, and it was still juicy, not tough like cardboard.It was prepared to perfection. I also had a Caesar salad. The salad was prepared in a way that I have never seen it prepared before. It was tasty, and in the center of my salad, there was a soft boiled egg. I wasn't a big fan of that, and I was very careful as to not to break the yolk. Our server was Max, and we had a party of three, and I was really impressed when she took out ordered. She did not have to write it down, and she remembered it and got it, right. I'm only pointing this out because we ordered a lot of food and drinks. She was very polite, very attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. My go-to steakhouse is usually Ruth Chris. I've never had a bad meal. I've never had a bad service. This restaurant is just as good as Ruth Chris, if not better. I will be returning!!!“

“First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were good, strong and inexpensive. The food was even better. Definitely a favourite of mine when I want a good drink and some food with it. I had the pork chop sandwich with fries and it was good. Seasoned and fried just right. Definitely two thumbs up for me. The staff were quick and attentive which was really good since the place was a bit crowded. Easy to get too ... right off of 210. Check it out if you haven't.“

“Went there on Friday Sept 8 to see The Binta Campbell Experience and it was AWESOME! She and her band were really good, we enjoyed the "daye night" vibe. The wings were good, but the "crab dip" was definitely NOT crab....it was artichokes 😠🤮😳. and totally disgusting. I paid $15 for some crab dip with 🚫🦀 SMH“

“Randomly found out about this place after having dinner with a friend at the sushi restaurant upstairs. It looked like a cute modernly decorated bar once we entered and it was. The music was GREAT, the bartenders were lovely and super attentive! The drinks had delicious interesting flavors and definitely gave you that kick you’re looking for after midnight. We got to sit at the bar to enjoy your cocktails.“

“I’ve visited Captain Gregory’s three times over the past three years and it is by far the best speakeasy experience in the DC area! The drinks are fantastic - delicious and true works of art. The service is impeccable and the vibe is perfect for a romantic date night or nice relaxing chat with a friend. “I worked at yelp for 10 years and have visited so many restaurants as part of my work. Me and my co-worker recently dined at this Ethiopian place and it was a truly fantastic experience. The atmosphere was so inviting, and the food was incredible. Our waiter, Hamen, was a standout; her smile and eloquent explanations of the dishes added a special touch to our meal. She served us with passion and showed no signs of tiredness despite the extremely busy situation. This is an experience you barely find in many restaurants. Birndo is a must-visit. “The bartenders treat regulars better than others. You can order the same drink and get smaller glasses or cups than normal. Also if you order a drink such as a punch that needs to be shaken to mux properly they get lazy and just pour it and leave you to have to stor it. It does not taste the same. Plus they put very little alcohol in them. Shame not to feel welcome because you don't go every week. They stopped the dj through the week and they are boring with old timmers creepy male crowd on Thursdays especially. The food is the best and only reason to visit. Excellent cook.“

There are no food options, but my husband and I loved spending the last two evenings here, listening to music, chatting, and watching the sun go down.
