“Food was great. Atmosphere was cozy. We were a party of 8. Our waiter Barry was very attentive. He added greatly to the whole experience with his jokes and demeanor.”

“Long post ahead, warning! I walked in around 9 pm and the hostess didn't bat an eye at my dining alone, and didn't say anything about it, which I appreciate. I was seated right away with no problems and immediately got a chance to look over the menu. I will admit, it took a little bit longer than expected for my waiter to come over, but as a lone diner I sort of expected that. I looked like I was waiting for someone, I'm sure. The look and feel of the place was very upscale, but they didn't have any problems with me walking in wearing a nerdy t-shirt. I was seated in this cute little booth for 2 with curtains on the side so, if I wanted a more private dinner, I could have it. It was a cute touch! The restaurant also offered patio dining and since it's by the creek, that would have been a downright charming experience were it not the usual Maryland summer. Despite having a bar, the restaurant was respectably quiet and low-key, making it an easy dining experience. I wasn't in the mood for something wild, and this place really hit the nail on the head. My first waiter Kevin, however, was the picture of polite helpfulness. He answered all of my questions, made some wonderful suggestions, and was incredibly pleasant to talk to. I was delighted to find out that this place takes part in DC restaurant week, so I was able to take part in that promotion. Under a suggestion from Kevin, I ordered a glass of their moscato (I wanted something light and sweet), and the wine was so good I brought home a whole bottle. Not really on them, but it does reflect their excellent selection. Dinner itself was delicious. The red pepper soup was refreshing and flavorful, without being too filling. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and was flavored in the perfect way to make the actual flavor of the meat shine. The potatoes were both light and fluffy, but also had the little chunks of potato that I prefer in my mashed. The best part was desert. About halfway through my appetizer, Kevin introduced my other waiter, Maddy, who took over after he went home. She was as much of a delight as he was, and made possibly the best recommendation of the night. Desert was this blackberry tart that I did not have room for but could not put down. Gooey and crumbly all at once, with a warm center that was almost caramel-y even though it was fruit based. Topped with a light cream to balance it all out, it was absolutely delicious. I will be thinking of that tart all day tomorrow. The prices on the menu were a little high, but I wouldn't go so far to say they were unreasonable. If I had wanted a cheaper option, I could have gone to any chain restaurant ever. In the grand scheme of downtown Frederick, with it's many small businesses and one of a kind dining experiences, I think this was reasonable. For reference, a lot of meals were between $20 and $30, but a good steak is almost always $30+. Despite the price, I had an exceptional dining experience, and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for upscale dining, without the upscale requirements.”

“Uh oh! I have found another restaurant that my body will crave and want to come back again and again - the fluffy long, soft rolls and wonderful house salad served in a bowl, house made fresh pasta, and delicious cocktails.

I really appreciated how far apart the tables are to allow for conversations you can hear and more space in the cold/flu season.

I had a Chocolate Martini and my husband ordered a Lemondrop Martini (not on the menu) but was definitely good.

The basket of the fluffy, soft, warm rolls were incredible and something I will come back for. I got the Mediterranean bruschetta special which came with feta, crabmeat, tomatoes, balsamic glaze and lots of other yummy things on four pieces of bruschetta. It was delicious.

The shrimp scampi over the thin fresh noodles was a pleasure - really loved how big the shrimp were and the large helping of pasta. My husband got the lasagna which was good although they used some different cheeses which made it taste a little different but still good.

Amanda our waitress was quick, pleasant, and took good care of us. Fratelli's is a Resy restaurant.

We will be returning to Fratelli often, and it will be a enjoyable way to make our day better after a long day of parent caregiving responsibilities and a long drive.”

“We ordered catering for a party -they delivered and it was outstanding! The best catering we've ordered! They sent generous portions and everything was fresh. We did chicken and falafel with 7 toppings and 3 sauces. It was perfect for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans! Had something for all.”

“First time there, the food was delicious. Best we've had in years. The arancini were crispy and hot with a delicious tomato sauce. I had shrimp arrabbiata. Fantastic. Andrea had the mushroom ravioli. That was an earthy, tasty treat pack with mushrooms. Love the cafe style. Will go back as often as we can.”

“I had an amazing experience at this restaurant ( I think my favorite restaurant ) yesterday . I had to change the time of my reservation while already at the restaurant due to late arrival of the others in my group. They graciously switched the reservation . Enrico was very helpful with a few other concerns I had about my group. The bartender was friendly and made an amazing drink while I waited for my company to arrive . Our waiter Marcello was wonderful and the food was melt in your mouth delicious ! They also have gluten free pasta and pizza dough in case someone in your group is gluten free. Can’t say enough about this restaurant that makes you feel like you are part of the family !”

“We went to Motherland restaurant today for the first time. Sabina prepares food that tastes great. Both vegan and meat and fish dishes are available. Herbs and spices and healthy oils create a potpourri of wonderful flavors and create a satisfying meal without the use of salt. Vegans now have a new choice for flavorful meals.”

“We used to frequent this restaurant often when we lived in Frederick. We returned for my 70th birthday dinner. As usual, Rich did an outstanding job, not only with our meals but also with meals designed for our vegan/vegetarian children. Trish, our server , was also excellent. “After witnessing the horrific lines & long wait times at the white marsh location, I postponed my highly anticipated first visit to Crumbl & ended up ordered a lil 6-pack for myself later in the evening at the Frederick location.

I was the only customer there (presumably bc they were about to close) but my order was ready & waiting, & despite my intentions to share with my family, I somehow blacked out (?) & all six were gone by the time I drove the mile back to my house… oops!

They have such great flavors - I love that they have a core menu of classic offerings & a weekly rotation of unique & seasonal treats. This summer, I was so excited to see banana’s foster (or maybe banana cream pie - I was riding a severe sugar high that seems to have impaired my memory somewhat…) & a lil key lime tart. Omg. Everytb in is great - you really can’t go wrong.

Personally, bc I’m poor & they aren’t exactly cheap, I like to order the minis in a 3-pack (rarely) or 6-pack (99% of the time bc I can’t limit myself to 3 choices!) I think the minis are the way to go, whether you’re watching your calories &/or carbs, ordering for small children, prefer not to spend over $50 on any food order unless it includes filet mignon…. Or if you’re just indecisive like me & want one of everything.

So glad they opened a Crumbl in Frederick, but put it on the other side of town so my ADHD allows me to frequently forget it even exists unless I’m literally driving past it, bc otherwise my A1C (& wallet$ would be in trouble!)”

“We've been stopping by The Mint Room for the odd Naan or Mango lassi(my toddler practically inhales it; she loves it) since they opened here, but finally went and sat down to eat there tonight. The food was excellent. My husband tried the Chefs biryani and I had the chicken shahi korma. Easily one of the best kormas I've ever had. Don't sleep on the kashmiri naan. It was SO good. Atmosphere was nice and staff was attentive. Completely irrelevant to their food, but the icing on the cake for me was hearing the instrumental music for Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, which is one of my favorites. It's the little things you know? We definitely will eat here again, and, YES, we recommend this restaurant.”

“We had such a fantastic dining experience at Andaz! The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The starters truly set the tone: the palak chaat was perfectly crisp and flavorful, the kebabs were incredibly delicious, and the thecha paneer was simply amazing with its bold, spicy kick.

For the main course, everything felt heavenly. The garlic naan and Peshawari naan were fresh and indulgent, pairing beautifully with the rich Nazim handi and Ajmeri kofta both dishes were full of depth and authentic flavor.

What made the evening even more special was the celebration. The chef and server Leonson surprised us with a birthday tres leches cake, complete with fireworks and birthday music — such a grand and thoughtful touch! We also loved the seetaphal crumble, and the ghevar was my personal favorite. The kulfi and drinks were equally delightful.

The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made it a perfect place to gather and celebrate. We had an amazing time with our small group and would absolutely recommend this place for great food and a wonderful dining experience! ✨”

“This is the best bakery in the DMV. I have never gotten something I wasn't impressed with here. I don't know how the variety in menu continues to be evolving and delicious but that's the case here.

The staff is warm, welcoming, and very kind. You leave with not only delicious food but a warm smile because of the genuine hospitality and enthusiasm of the people working there. The only negatives are the size of the store, the lack of a seating area, and its location.

If you are looking for incredible cookies, cakes, pies, or anything baked and you are within a 2 hour drive (I've just stood in line with a couple who drove that far to get here) start heading over you won't be disappointed!”
