“What an awesome excellent experience we had yesterday, we took our friends for lunch! .We order several dishes each item was very yummy. Their Food and Service was excellent!! I highly recommend India Palace Restaurant for lunch and or dinner or any occasion! My husband asked to meet their chef 😂

“May be the best Bangladeshi food in the DMV. Biriyani, Tehari, Haleem, Kabab, Fish/Chicken /beef curry are great. Very good Iftar selection as well.“

“This restaurant is amazing! From the food, atmosphere and service is perfect. The owner was working and was beyond kind and caring. I had never tried Indian food. So the owner walked me through what he would suggest and what it all came from. I ended up getting a dosa which was the best food I have ever had. When it came out the cook explained all of the masalas it came with.

I also asked for recommendations for desert and drink to bring home to my roommate. They suggested a chai, mango lasi, pineapple kessari and gulab jamun. Everything was to DIE for.

I felt so well taken care of. The owner is a wonderful person. I can not suggest this place enough!!! If you are looking for some of the best food from even better people, look no further. This will be the place for you!“

“We had a fantastic experience at Mirchi Dhaba! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that made it easy to share and try a variety of dishes. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

One of the standout touches was the creative baristas and drink offerings—something you don’t always expect, but definitely appreciated. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food: vibrant, colorful paintings of Indian scenes, beautiful decor, and a comfortable setting paired with great modern Indian music.

“First time dining in and had a great experience! We usually order to go (malai kofta, palak paneer, dal makhani, and ofc their samosas!!), but noticed the menu was different for dine in and wanted to try it.

The food was incredible- homey, well spiced, and perfectly fried. They do such a great job at balancing flavors and making fried food crispy and not greasy. The owner/worker was so kind to us as always!

Here's what we got:

1) Chole bhature- incredible chickpeas and crispy fluffy bhature. This was def the best thing we got!

2) Samosa chaat- you can't come here without getting their samosas. They are the best, large and well seasoned. This came with the chole (my fave!)and was very filling

3) Vada pav- super tasty fried potato ball with green chutney in a bun

4) Gobi paratha- finely minced and delicate cauliflower in a paratha! It was so impressive how much cauliflower was in here without the paratha ripping.

5) Masala chai- made fresh to order! He told us how other places pre make chai and fridge it, but he makes it fresh to order. It was so good and not as spiced as you would think. Loved the warmth and delicate flavor

Come with the expectation to wait a little more than a usual restaurant, but it will be worth it because everything tastes homemade and masterful. Don't be intimidated! They have an English menu and the owner understands English pretty well. Def check it out and show them some love with dine in or takeout!

This type of authentic hole in the wall is hard to find and very treasured by the community- in the hour we dined in, we saw almost 10 different parties calling in catering orders, dining in, or picking up takeout orders. You can tell how respected and well loved this place is; it's a gem of MoCo for sure!“

“We celebrated Diwali here this evening and they were extremely accommodating as we had 28 people. They treated us like family and the food was excellent. They had a Diwali special Masala coke that everyone enjoyed so much. Special thanks to Dinisha who was an excellent host and took care of everything, so thankful for her. Wonderful time had by all and will definitely plan other events at Madras Palace.“

It’s a great environment, the service is wonderful and welcoming. Sharif is always kind and patient with our 3 small boys, as are the entire staff. Overall top notch.“

“Great place for dosas 👍. My family ended up going here on a late Sunday afternoon and ended up ordering a few different things. The Rava dosa was amazing and i loved the uttapam that we ordered 😋. Despite my kid changing her mind after placing the order, the staff did their best to accommodate her request (which was amazing to see 👍). The desserts were also great.
