“This lovely and comfortable restaurant is very vegetarian/vegan restaurant but it does serve meat and fish so please don't be dissuaded by the labels. Large, airy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Went with friends - waiter was so friendly. In fact, all the staff were. Food was delicious. All healthy and freshly prepared. We’ve been to Bench so many times and we were always very happy with the food and service . This is a hidden gem in Rio. While other restaurants are crowded and noisy, this one has a classy and quiet atmosphere. The food’s delicious and flavorful. We appreciate the chef and the hosts- they get busy with a small staff but they are still very hospitable and attentive.
