“Love the cakes that I've tried. Strawberry is my favorite. Good icing ratio, I usually spread it before eating.I've only interacted with one employee every time I've gone. The tall young man at the front always provides effective and efficient customer service.“

“I'm lucky enough to live within a short distance and use Manifest as an excuse to take a walk with a reward at the end. Everything I've bought has been amazing and delicious. The prices are reflective of the quality and efforts that go into the final product. My go-to's are the apricot financiers, the fig and goat cheese sandwich (it's great warmed or toasted), and you can't go wrong with a cardamom roll. It defeats the purpose of my excercise a bit, but I'm definitely not complaining. The hours are a bit restrictive, but it's probably what's saving me from being there all the time ?“

“First time here at Dessert Junkie. This spot is nothing short of ADORABLE. The owner Alexis has one of the best customer service experience I’ve experienced in a long time. She let us sample anything we wanted and was very patient as we were undecided. I’ve found my new dessert home. Now the desserts….THE BOMB and the variety is exceptional. I’m coming back. Oh and we even got to tour the kitchen.“

“Chocolate pistachio croissant - 5 stars. so good and will be returning for this. Any place that has pistachio pastries is a place for me. Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

“The selection is limited, but their breads are incredible. The cranberry walnut bread is the same bread found at le diplomate. My favorite bread is the black sesame harissa. Expect to wait in line. Only about three people fit in the store at a time, but it’s worth it.“

“Upon entering the facility, I was showing my mom what cookies were available for the week, waiting for the kiosk when one of the employees asked if we would like help. They took our order and showed us the beautiful cookies. I had a jammy heart cookie that was sweet and delicious!“

“I know what you're thinking: this is a a coffee bar located in the lobby of an apartment building. It can't be that great, can it? Well, you would be wrong. This is my neighborhood coffee spot and I have been here so many times I've lost count. The coffee you get here is consistently well made. I haven't had everything on the menu, but the breakfast items (pastries and made-to-order dishes) are top notch. The funfetti cookie and classic breakfast sandwich deserve special mention. The front of house staff are incredibly nice and usually down to chat as much or as little as you'd like as they make your drink. Even better, this is now one of the first locally owned and operated coffee shops in the DC area where the workers have come together to bargain and set standards for their working conditions with management. It's well known that union-made coffee inherently tastes better because you know that baristas have power and a voice when management inevitably starts to cut corners and prioritize the profits of their budding coffee empire over the health and safety of their employees. (I don't know the owners, I just know how incentives work.) So sip in solidarity, my friends! If the quality declines here it'll be because management has decided to cultivate a hostile work environment to try and undermine the solidarity and hope it's employees have worked so hard to build.“

“It was my first time going to this place , the staff can try to be more welcoming and pleaseant and help they clients to order , I had to take my mask off to speak and let them know what i wanted and as i was ordering I felt like i was being rushed to order , the food was tasting but tge owner needs to change the way the food is charged , I was charge for each separate item this is not a place where you order yourself a complete meal for a full charge , the food was delicious but I would not go back and another turn off in the bakery area they had flies around the sweet bread .“

“We were staying in the area for a few days and stopped here twice, once for pretzels and the second time for the breakfast sliders. Both equally delicious! Definitely could eat a breakfast slider every morning. Staff was friendly. Service quick.“

“I tried this place via a neighbor's recommendation and it was sooo good. The cupcakes are fresh and moist and a really good size for the price. The buttercream is not overly sweet, but still sweet enough. These are literally my favorite cupcakes ever. The shop is in a great location with cute decor and friendly staff. The inside feels pretty instagrammable this time of year (cherry blossoms make the prettiest backdrop!).“

“This was such a lucky find! I took a chance using a Too Good to Go and bought a birthday cake for my son. It was so fresh and delicious! I was worried when I pulled into shopping center because it’s in an industrial area, next to a Uhaul place. But when I walked up, the outside sidewalk was decorated with two huge teddy bears at a tea table sharing a pastry. It gave me a good feeling about the shop that the owner went to the trouble to make a cute display. And inside, the bakery is spotless. My Spanish is rusty, but the staff spoke enough English I had no problems. They also have a little hot food case and I bought a delicious vegetarian tamale and coffee to m, which were inexpensive, very filling, and really tasty. I will definitely be back.“

“I liked the service, food and atmosphere, the thing that I liked the most was that I am allergic to certain foods and I was shocked because they had other options too. They made me a dish of things that I could eat. I was so comfortable. It’s not like other places I’ve been to that says “this is the only things we have” and don’t have options for us who are allergic. Also the workers are so nice“

“I found Sweet Almond at a wedding expo but used her services for a corporate event and she didn't disappoint. I ordered a variety of macarons and Leah was great to work with from the beginning! She was very responsive, accommodating, and even dropped of my order early. She's also so sweet and wonderful to work with. Her macarons were soo good and everyone also loved them. I will definitely be ordering from her again!“

They have ample parking, and closest to the entrance. You won't be disappointed. Go and check them out!! They've been in business since I was a kid so they're doing something right.“

“I gave it a 4 star bc I haven't had my beautiful confection as yet. Love this farely new addition to the Bowie Town Center. Funny thing is I've passed by here ant not really noticed it bc it's in a location of another bakery that has since moved on. So I had stopped looking. “I absolutely love this little bakery! The cakes, postres, and treats are so good! They are visually so pretty and large portioned as well! I love to stop in here for any of our sweet tooth needs and for some delicious sweet breads! They have a small refrigerator with milks and cheeses where I can find my favorite cream and Oaxaca cheese! The prices for their cakes are absolutely awesome! You get a much more personalized feeling than if you were to pick one up at a random grocery store.The people here are so kind! I love the opportunities to practice my Spanish and they are always welcoming! I’ve been to places who would ignore me for trying to speak Spanish without being Hispanic. But this place is not like that at all!They also do some hot foods and have a little coffee bar set up! So glad we found this spot!“

“Ordered a three-tiered chocolate cake for my parents’ 30th anniversary party for 100 people - it was worth every penny! It was just the right level of rich, sweet, and smooth. The texture was perfect and it tased delicious. So many of our guests complimented the cake and asked where we bought it from. I’ll definitely buy from this location again!“

“I am very picky about my desserts. I've tried a lot more than most people, so I only like the best. I ordered a red velvet cake for my bf's birthday and it is the best red velvet cake we've found locally.The icing was sweet, but not too sweet, and the cake was moist and delicious. I really appreciated that the red velvet wasn't just red plain cake, but actually had a hint of chocolate like red velvet should. The cake to icing ratio was also good.The cake appearance is like a home bakery, so I went in with the expectation of it being like that. In the end taste is king. I will note we had a small snafu with pick-up, but Timmy followed up with communication which I appreciated. It's nothing that would prevent me from trying Timmy's again for some other cakes.“

“Awesome restaurant with a great selection of food. Atmosphere is nice as well. The food is amazing from the soups to pastries. Everything is mad from scratch I finally got to try a turkey club sandwich being that it's all turkey products. I also order the grilled salmon greens and yams. I tired the beans soup was phenomenal. My take home order was curry chicken salad 1/2lb, side of yams, mac n cheese. The sweetpotatie pie, bean pie & strawberry cheese cake was the desert taken home. This is a must try establishment very class service is amazing and heartfelt you can tell the food is cooked with love!!!! I'll be back“

“Maman is very tasty and I love coming here but.. this happened. Needless to say I was a little disappointed I had to fight my food today in a dangerous way. Unfortunately, my turned my sandwich turned into a salad. The salad was mid, I’m sure it would have been better as a sandwich lol. Please don’t do this anymore Maman.“

“We stopped here for lunch because it was dog friendly, but that's only outside on the patio so thankfully we found a small table available. We ordered at the counter and they gave us a marker so they could bring the food to us. I ordered the Brussels sprout salad and added falafel. This salad was so amazingly delicious. I love roasted Brussels sprouts, and this hit the spot and was surprisingly filling. However, I wish there had been some other items in there to add some variety to the dish. My husband got the southwest salad and that came with chicken chorizo, black beans, cheese and avocado and he enjoyed it and it was also very filling. Very good and would recommend this restaurant.“

“There are some hard-working and talented ladies behind that window of beautiful deliciousness. And it shows! Everything was phenomenal. 100% worth the wait in the weekend rush, too! I had the chorizo, the rosemary-fig tart, and the peach-sesame kouign-amann. Life-changing. Every bite. After a bite of their kouign-amann, I threw away the (more expensive) quiche/pastry I'd grabbed from Eastern Market and replaced them with Souk's. Serious upgrade.“

“Service is great , most of the time it’s pretty busy, very popular local place. I love the tortas they make although they may sometimes run out of avocados.But if you go in early in the morning close to when the open I hope you get to taste the amazing tortas they make. They are all very hard works and try their best to keep things clean and organized and bring good service to those who wake up very early in the morning for work.“

“Always enjoy picking up Ravenhook’s baguettes, sourdough, cookies, croissants and a variety of other baked goods when I go to Mosaic’s Farmers Market on Sundays. The staff are always helpful and informative and the bread is always delicious and baked well - nice crunchy crust with a soft inside.“

“The best I've ever ordered for any event & I cannot wait for the next event to order more. This was for my daughter's baby shower & instead of a cake she wanted cupcakes which was a great choice. They were absolutely delicious.“

“Parking: Plentiful! There's a second-level lot that is virtually empty and an elevator that opens inside of the store. If you wanna avoid the raindrops, park downstairs and there won't be a drop on ya. The parking is free; it's safe to leave the ticket provided at the drop-arm entrance inside your vehicle. When the shopping is complete, feed the ticket into the machine and exit. I rated 4 stars rather than 5 because the location has a population of people camping out at the entrance and begging from the customers walking in and out. Safe Way doesn't seem to be doing anything about the loitering because the number has increased from one to a handful. They've hired Security, but I challenge anyone reading this review to produce a photo of one of them standing outside. The security officers are nestled safely (inside) of the story at all times. Some customers prefer to avoid being approached by an unknown individual in the parking lot especially when preoccupied with groceries and potentially a reduced situational awareness about their safety. The store shelves stock most items, but I recommend using the parking upstairs.“

“So after dating this place for a few months. I'm ready to give it the stamp.. Wife and I actually had saw this place but never tried it. When shopping in the mall and was looking at sun glasses just a few booths down. Someone came over with a brown bag eating cookies. We asked if they had gotten those from Larry's and he said yes. Even offered us a few of his own! (classic black folk moment..). Super good cookies. I am a fan of the snickerdoodle the most. They make them very consistent every time. I know exactly what to expect when coming here. This place is Thomas G approved!“
