This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“We took a large party there. Some of the dishes we had were chicken,saag chicken tikka chicken biryani and chicken vindaloo and a noodle dish, I can’t recall. I thought the food was excellent and so did everyone in our party. We’ll definitely go back again thanks again to the owners and the staff.“

The food was delicious and Sudeep was so friendly and flexible to work with. We had an American-food caterer for our wedding but needed a few additional South Asian items for our menu and Sudeep was able to seamlessly deliver those items for us on the day of! We’re so grateful and would recommend Harbor Tandoor for any catering needs.“

We have been making our way through the menu over time, and I now have too many favorites to order in one vending even though they are small plates. (They have regular entrees, too, but I’m in a situationship with the small plates). On top of all that, the service is great, and friendly. Hands down one of the best fish subs I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The bread was fresh and soft, and the toppings were just right—not too much, not too little. You can tell they take pride in their food. Hidden in a small convenience store in an end of the block row house, with just a small folding sign out front… this is truly a hidden gem.

Truly tastes authentic, lots of chicken included, and the sauce separates to show all the tasty layers before you get to mix it all back up. Rice was well seasoned and flavorful. Good portion of rice too. Food stayed warm on the 30m trip home too.“

“Fairly new to visiting the restaurant however the four (4) times I have dined or had carryout, the staff was welcoming, pleasant, the food was delicious (sidebar: I recommend the cream of crab soup), and the atmosphere was relaxing. My high school class reunion committee even planned our meeting there and was able to plan professionally without a lot of interruptions and A-1 service. “These guys make very good food, and they are very eager to please. They have two menus, one with American food like pizza and burgers and fried chicken, and the other with Indian food. Personally I like their non-curry dishes. It is quite spicy and never bland. Tonight I had the chicken thigh dinner which was very soft and spicy. It was fantastic. They also seemed to have invested a good amount of money into this place. Nice quality interior and good parking outside. The owner and the hostess both came to the table personally and asked us about how the food tastes. These people really care.“

“Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in Owings Mills — every dish was bursting with flavor! If you’re anywhere near Owings Mills and craving Indian food, you need to check out Tikka Shack. We dined in as a family and tried a huge variety of dishes — and honestly, everything was outstanding. We tried everything at house spice - there were addition levels of heat for those interested. We had the Shrimp Coconut Tacos, Paneer Butter Taco, Tikka Pizza with chicken, Chicken Biryani, Mango Lassi, Ras Malai, Street Style Chaat (both the samosa and potato versions), Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Samosas. For drinks we had fountain coke, Maasa Lychee, and Tractor Orange Cadamon. Every dish had its own personality — from the bold spices to the fresh garnishes — and each one was delicious. The restaurant itself is super clean with plenty of seating, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We even ordered some extra to bring home for our lunches the next day! “Located inside the lotte plaza food court, this is the place to be if you crave true traditional hyderabadi cuisine. Love the goat biriyani, goat Mandi and awesome traditional deserts. Must try the apricot delight.

To top it all, they make amazing Indian flavored cakes that are made to order within hours.

“This was my first time visit for lunch, and I ordered carry-out. To place and pick up my order was speedy & pleasant. Street parking was available directly in front of the restaurant.

The dining room was bright, clean and bustling. There was a lunch buffet in progress during my pick up. I observed many options to choose from on display. However, I had already ordered the Tarka Daal, Chapati, Aloo Paratha & the Chicken Tika Masala.

Everything I ordered was spiced to the correct heat level, flavorful & quality.

The price points are standard and well worth the price. I'm definitely going to check out this place again.“
