“I was with one of my best friends, leaving Ikea, to be honest, and we both realized we were hungry, but I couldn't figure out what type of food I wanted. We were just driving and I saw this place out of the corner of my eye. I knew my friend liked Pho, but I have always been on the fence with it. I decided to check it out anyway and I am beyond thrilled we went.
Let me start with the atmosphere and service. There is a comforting aspect to the way this place is lit, the beautiful blinds, and the nice breeze coming in from the door. The staff was so incredible that I could write an entire review on the service alone. I ordered the one with chicken, brisket and shrimp and we walked around as I waited for my food. I forgot to mention they were closing in 40 minutes. We came back and my friend asked if he could taste the broth. His eyes lit up on the first taste. And the second. And the third. And the forth. You get the picture. He was on his was to the curry place for carry-out but immediately changed his mind and placed his own order. The restaurant was closed at this point but they graciously told him to order and had us sit at a table to eat despite being technically closed. We met the owners (hi David - didn't get the wonderful lady's name) and he said to stay as long as we liked.
This was truly the perfect cap to a lovely day and I strongly encourage everyone to check this place out. These owners are new (4 months in, I believe she said), and the changes they've made are clearly for the better. I wish I could give 20 stars for the hospitality. We will be coming back again and again.“

“Finally found decent Thai/Lao spot in DC! Red curry with pork belly, Papaya salad(can select Lao/Thai), and drunken noodle! Spicy information is right for American, not much spicy for me but it’s good.💋 open to revisit!“

“I came here when they first opened in 2020, and I came again recently (2026). The flavor and quality remains great, although the line these days is really long and their opening hours don't make it easy for those outside of DC to stop in for a taste. I would recommend coming to give this place a try if you haven't been before, but it's not really worth the 1-hour or more line for a second visit.

Also, for their vegetable-only toppings, the portobello slices are decent, but for $21 base price for a smaller, more shallow bowl of ramen I would love a serving of heartier, tastier grilled maitake or king oysters. But with the higher costs, taxes, and fees of operating in DC, I could understand how the economics of that might not work well.“

“Incredible food, vibrant atmosphere, the smell of succulent grilled meats and curries and lemongrass just stimulate your senses, and the warm, caring hospitality of the servers make for a memorable dining experience! We can’t wait to go back on a regular basis!“

“Stopped in for some delicious sushi and chicken katsu, we also ordered the calamari which was fried perfectly and had a nice crispy outside.

The chicken katsu is cooked perfectly, crunchy outside and tasty inside but not dry. The sushi is amazing, I had the spicy tuna which had a good kick to it and the daily special which was the Goldfish Roll today. GOLDFISH ROLL WAS AMAZING!! “The new space is super cute and the dumplings are just as tasty as ever! When we went, the vegetarians and meat-eaters in the group both loved "Livin' on the Vedge". Also super affordable and filling - 2 thumbs up!“

“Our food didn't take long to arrive, when we got it is was extremely delicious, they were very welcoming and kind to our big group of people and I would love to visit again in the future(I don't live in this state). I ordered the shrimp Tempura and the Strawberry boba and it was delicious, everyone else also had positive things to say about their meals. “I ordered the Pho Tai, Gau... OMG so good. I ordered delivery and it was still fresh. There was no option on the third party app to request extra limes so I called to requests and the individual on the other end was extremely kind. Back to the food, it was GREAT as delivery... Jai Jai was an awesome server explaining all the details of what the restaurant offers! Everything came out timely, piping hot and tasty! Definitely worth another visit if we are in DC. Tried the signature Pork chop fried rice, braised beef ramen and the dumpling sampler. And ended with the other signature dessert, cheesecake topped with fortune cookies and crumbs. “The food is good, but I’m gonna have to remove stars because of the customer service. 😕 When I first entered, I wasn’t greeted. The associate just stared at me, as if to say “I don’t have all day. Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

“Super good experience! Friendly staff, great food, good portions! Highly recommend the crab rangoons- the most stuffed rangoons I’ve have in a while! The wonton they use is so thin as well, really accentuating the filling and making for a light and crispy bite! The pineapple fried rice is delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness. “The food is really good! Serving sizes are family-style for most plates, so one plate is meant to be shared amongst those at the table. Service was efficient, friendly, accommodating, and the person processing our transaction informed us very clearly of the pre-charged 20% gratuity for the party of 6 or more (which we were, so I appreciate the clarity). The atmosphere is lively without being too loud, clean, tastefully decorated, open and spacious. There is a window where you can see the fresh noodles being made to order! Authentic Korean food, not a large variety of drinks (just soda, really - coke products, beer, liquor, and water). When the menu mentions spicy - it's spicy! But even regular items that don't mention spicy might have a little kick.“

“I brought my friend who has lived in Thailand and she told me that their food is very authentic. I knew it was different from most of the Thai food I have tried in the past. You can just tell from the nuance taste. Only real locals can make that difference.“

“Korean BBQ sandwich came out hot and with fresh toppings pretty quickly after I ordered. But it was a bit bland, I wish it had more flavor. The payment system is a little confusing, order food on one, then take the receipt over to pay and then you have to use a different system to order drinks. But staff is very friendly and helpful.“

All the food is very clean, msg free broth apparently, and you know the owner does not mess with the food quality.
