“I came to try their Jollof rice and chicken, and was very pleased. For the amount of food they give you, the price was feasible. The cashier was very prompt and polite, and the service was fast. I love the ambiance of the restaurant to include the gospel playlists ❤ My Jollof rice and chicken was delicious, the rice and chicken was flavorful and they give you a tomato base on the side that compliments the rice and chicken. This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I definitely plan on visiting them again, Lord willing.“

“In a shopping center so we didn't have any issues with parking.

I feel like this place was more so a take out place than a sit down place. You order up front and then sit wherever. There wasn't any water, silverware, napkins, or self service area. We ordered everything at the counter and they bring it out to you. We did have to ask for appetizer plates but they have single baskets that have some napkins, a soup spoon, a fork and wooden chopsticks. If we asked for another fork, we just got handed another basket. So while the overall experience was a little counterintuitive in my opinion, we did enjoy the food.

They have sodas and bottled water and tea options. We ordered a summer Roll (#2) , the egg rolls (#1) and the crispy shrimp rolls (#5). For our entrees ordered the Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (#95), Shaken Marinated Stir Fry (#50), and the Shaking Beef Bahn Mi (at a menu on the counter).

“THIS IS THE BEST HIBACHI PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WOODBRIDGE. WOW, I have never had fresh fried whiting so good in a longggg longggg time. Their food is amazing. Their cashier, EuEu, I believe is her name, has the best customer service skills I have seen in decades. She is warm in approach, kind hearted, and very friendly. This restaurant needs to stay in woodbridge for years because I’m a native and have not come across such customer service like this years for hibachi food. I came yesterday and came back again today. The taste of the flavors kept calling my name.

“Wow! This place was really good. We typically don't like chain restaurants. However, this Bahama Breeze surprised us. The Honey Butter Crispy Sandwich had a simple presentation but was full of flavor. Hubby paired it with a tasty bowl of Black beans and Rice. My Island Snapper was perfectly delicious-- colorfully put together with fresh mangoes, red onions and avocado, plus a generous portion of well seasoned snapper over a bed of white rice surrounded by a decadent lime sauce. For dessert, we shared the Flaming Pineapple Butter Cake. Again, just wow! The table side rum flambe was a great ending to our lunch. We enjoyed our Island Snapper so much that we ordered 2 more to take home for our dinner from our great server Logan.“

“First to visit to Mount Vernon and wanted to eat dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant is very quaint. Although the structure was built over 100 years after the original Mount Vernon, according to the host, the structure retains a historical feel. Our waitress was very polite, friendly, and checked in on us frequently. We had the shrimp and grits, turkey pot pie, crab cakes dinner, and fricassee. Everything had a hearty texture to it, bold flavors, and we definitely did not leave hungry. It was a great ending to our first tour at Mount Vernon. Highly recommend combining your visit with lunch or dinner afterwards.“

“The food here is always hot, fresh and delicious. "Mr. Simon," "Ms. Bernice" and "Ms. Season" always provide great customer service especially Simon and Bernice. They are always friendly, polite and professional. This is my favorite carry out in the area!! The Singapore noodles, shrimp egg foo young, steak and cheese, broccoli and garlic sauce, honey wings and chicken with mumbo sauce are all my favorites!

“I grew up in Charles County, but this was my first visit to the Marina. The food was really good and our Server ("36 Sam") was excellent. And the drinks were very good, so kudos to the Bartender as well. This is a Marina so aging, little damage are expected, but the bathroom deserves upgrading - no reason to lower my rating - because it was very clean.“

“Excellent evening at the Woodbridge, VA NYAJs yesterday! We were greeted by the manager Usy( I’m not good at names) who was working on clearing tables. We had a couple minute wait for our outside table. There were 3 of us and we ordered drinks and appetizers to share. Desi was our server. She was attentive and cheerful (not annoyingly so). The Bang Bang Shrimp, Potstickers and my favorite Ahi Tuna Wontons were wonderful! Cocktails as well! We all had been regulars up to about 18 months ago as the service was atrocious. So glad NYAJ is back. This is my 2nd visit in a month. Will be back soon. Kudos to the new manager and staff. Keep it up!“

I initially came and got a lunch tacos to go and it was awesome. so I came back to have breakfast and it was absolutely wonderful as well beautiful in here relaxing music... the tone is just right. “I put in a curbside pick up order for my birthday dessert. I couldn't have the key lime pie per website blocking so I got the brownie option. Lots of available parking existed when I arrived and I proceeded to use the designated spot on a Sunday night. Right on time too! I called the place as the sign instructed, but then had a terrific surprise of a young, handsome gentleman bringing my order to my car window from a visible angle before I even reached a person by phone. That's skill and smarts! Great dessert too :)“
