“I walked by several times and saw a sign inviting me to try PLNT Burger for free. So, I ordered the DBL PLNT Cheeseburger to give it a try. “With new ownership in place, I did not know what to expect. For a ward 8 resident and DC native, we take Sunday morning breakfast serious, and nobody wants to travel to PG, VA or cross the bridge for family breakfast. I have been to that IHOP at least 100 times, so I have seen the good and the bad times. I will say this, there is a noticeable difference in the customer care experience. From the attention to detail of the employees, the cleanliness of the restaurant (especially the bathroom), and the friendly staff, I was wholly impressed. I felt safe and ready to spend my hard earned money. I even tipped the waitress 50% because she deserved it. “We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“My family and I went here for Father's Day dinner. The service was amazing. The food wasn't the best. The breaded catfish was bland. The burgers were dry, the wings were the best thing we all agreed on, and the drinks were watered down. My daughter's ordered the lemonade, and it had a funny smell to it. It wasn't busy at all. The ambiance was good. Overall, the rating was a 3 star only because of the food.“

About the size of my fist a bit bigger it was a large burger and definitely worth the money for the combo $19 to get the fries and drink included.

4/5 seasoned fries: good but not the star of the show it was crispy and seasoned well.

During lunch I wouldn’t go to this location unless you work in the plaza. Parking was hard to find and $15 for 1 hour if you use the plaza parking.“

“Check out "The Spot".. there's 6 restaurants inside. It's like a mini Union Market. Mostly Asian or Korean food but they do have a soul food place and a Boba/ smoothie place. There's also a bar in the center. Pool table and plenty of seating. Parking isn't an issue. There are other restaurants near by. I ate at the Korean taco spot and got a rice bowl with bulgogi. Good portion of food, priced well, and very tasty. I like the multi-restaurant buildings. It gives you the opportunity to try different places and have something salty/ savory and sweet.“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“I just visited this location with my family after church for a quick snack and it was nothing but amazing. The staff member that served us was Christian she was so friendly and well manored very attentive my family enjoyed the delicious food.“

“Let me start off by saying that my son and I had an excellent time watching Bit Brigade! We purchased the premium seating which in my opinion is only really premium If you can get lined up against the railing upstairs. There are some tables there, but you really can't see the band below from said tables. So basically you're paying extra to be able to go upstairs and hopefully get a spot by the railing or have access to some extra tables. Luckily there were some nice people next to us that let my kids sit up front so they can get a good view.
We got a pizza and it just wasn't very good and the fry portions they give were pretty lame. I do however recommend the pickled veg or smoked olives. The bar service was very attentive and quick so I did appreciate that.
Acoustics were great! The bass sounded great and the drums hit nicely.
This isn't really a problem with Pearl Street Harbor itself, but with any place in that general area - but parking was horrendous and getting there was extremely stressful.
Overall a really fun experience and now that I have a better lay of the land, I will likely be back again!“

“We got to try CaliBurger when they had their food truck at the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC. As a San Diego native, their burgers live up to the name! The burgers reminded me of In-n-Out. They also had great fries. Considering how busy it was at the festival, there was about 10-15 minute wait after ordering, but it was worth the wait. They also had very reasonable prices for it to be during the festival (burger was $13 and the side of fries was $7–there were enough fries for me and my partner to split, and we each got our own burger). I hope they are at the festival again next year!“
