“I got their exactly 950pm and the bartender and waitress were very friendly and nice , the kitchen was just about or closing but rather than say sorry it’s too late they checked with the kitchen and they made us the 3 best burgers and fries , it was all delicious . We got double burgers and fries and honestly the price to me like any other good burgers but these were better was reasonable, the quality was good . We’ll be back for sure , compliments to the chef .“

You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. “My husband took me to PLNT BURGER, an eatery in the center of one of the most influential cities of the American East Coast: Washington DC.

It's simple: if you've been hanging around West Virginia or Ocean City for a few days, then you've probably heard of this city. Personally I didn't know about it, but it's an ol geezer, Alfred Alexander, who told me to check out the American Big Smoke, as they call it around there.

We saw a movie - a despicable one - called "The Boy and the Hon" by the Ghibli workshop. My husband, afficionado of their cinematographic mise-en-bouche (I was born in France), was very disappointed. En fait, he was so disappointed that I told him "Babe. We're getting these burgs, right the frick now, ya hear?"

I am sure no lady from the sooner state, as Elvis magnificently called it in the "Oklahoma!" musical (which is, incidentally, my husband's native state). However, as a wife, I do the best I can to make sure he is happy. So we went to PLNT Burgers. We are vegan btw.

The burgers were very good. However, I must warn you: there is a specimen sold as "very spicy". I think they even warn you - "be careful, Emilie! it's much spicier than mayonnaise!" but they did not specify how SPICY this means. WOW!!!
Needless to say, on that day, I did not need my Evanescence iPod playlist to cry a bit.

My husband got his famous combo: fries with herbs, double cheeseburger. "Masterful gambit, hubby" I said when my little rogue vocalized his order to the cashier, who said, with a tone exquisite, "a'right 44 dollars".

In a nutshell, I would definitely recommend PLNT Burgers. En fait (je suis French) it might be my favourite vegan spot to eat on the go. Not really on the go, because we live, in fact, quite far away from it. But who cares when you can get this beast of a milkshake? MILKERS OF AMERICA, LET'S GO!!“

“If I could give an overall better than four stars I would but they are just not a five. The main reason for that is the size of the burger itself was small. Two would have been good. But the toppings were all extremely fresh and plentiful. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. I would go back.

“The staff on H ST SE location is absolutely amazing . As soon as I walked up to the counter I was greeted by GiGi with a warm smile and inviting hello. I had multiple questions but she was beyond patient with me and even gave me recommendations. Even though there were three people ahead of me, I got my food relatively fast. I know it’s due to the teamwork. The manager even reassured me that GiGis recommendation of the crab cake was a good choice. Nobody made me feel like I was a nuisance while I watched my food being made. I’ve been to multiple PLNT BURGER locations but this is now my new favorite“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“Check out "The Spot".. there's 6 restaurants inside. It's like a mini Union Market. Mostly Asian or Korean food but they do have a soul food place and a Boba/ smoothie place. There's also a bar in the center. Pool table and plenty of seating. Parking isn't an issue. There are other restaurants near by. I ate at the Korean taco spot and got a rice bowl with bulgogi. Good portion of food, priced well, and very tasty. I like the multi-restaurant buildings. It gives you the opportunity to try different places and have something salty/ savory and sweet.“

“The restaurant is spotless and it is one of the best burgers in dc. The food came out incredibly fast and they got me in and out without conversation.

To be honest I wasn’t in a great mood so a quiet and fast meal without a lot of taking was perfect. The hostess also saw I was really hot in the sunlight, so she shut the blind behind me. It was very thoughtful.

Great prices for the quality and incredibly fast time from order to table. It’s my kind of place. The downside are the bathrooms. Only two toilets for the entire restaurant (unisex) so if it’s busy you’ll be waiting, and no paper towels. You have to touch the dirty handles or use your shirt.“

“New: Having come back and tried their other offerings, I have to say that Bonkers is great. I recommend the spicy rice noodles, the egg and tomato, and the pork over rice. I'll be trying their noodle soups next time.

What I found less appealing about this rrstaurant is that the dining room section was closed off to the public, and there was no real indication as to why. There were tables turned upside down and brooms stowed in the corner for everyone to see. It kind of conjoured-up the feeling of those fried chicken and Chineese food restaurants that are all carry-out, and some even feature bars on the windows and doors. Everything else about this restaurant was modern including the menu board. The chicken tenders were great once I found a place to sit down outside.“
