“This place reminds me of Pura Vida Miami. The customer service here is great, really nice staff and ambiance! Just know it can take time to get your order. There’s a good amount of seating too if you wanted to bring your laptop. I’d suggest passing on the matcha, it was a hard sip, next time I’d order food/smoothies- which is what they’re known for.“

“had an amazing experience at this Smoothie King! The store was spotless, my order was made quickly, and the smoothie tasted perfect. Basically fresh, balanced, and exactly what I wanted.
What really stood out was the management. Dominic, the manager, runs the place with real professionalism and care. You can tell he takes pride in making sure every customer feels valued. He greeted me with a smile, checked in to make sure I was happy with my order, and kept the energy in the store upbeat and positive. It’s rare to see that kind of leadership in dc, but Dominic makes it look effortless.
If you’re looking for top-notch service and consistently great smoothies, this is the Smoothie King to go to. Huge thanks to Dominic and his team for making every visit such a positive experience!“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). Will be visiting often this winter for soup, cappuccino and "stay away cold and flu" juices. Sooo happy to have healthy options close-by!“

“The staff was very friendly, helpful, and overall amazing. The person who helped us gave good recommendations. Some of the things were a bit overpriced for what you’re getting, but they did have interesting food and drink options.
Parking is horrible, but that’s to be expected in Union market. there were a lot of people doing work on their laptops but other than that, there was a pretty good amount of space to be seated if you could find it.“

“Such a wonderful place to eat and relax! There is a nice selection of food and drink, including sandwiches, salads, soups and pastries. The food is good, fresh made and inexpensive. The staff are welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. I love to go 2-3 times a week for my Polish grandmother's borscht and some protein bites! They are trying to keep us all healthy! Highly recommended!“

So I got the Energy and Green Detox drinks and boy!!!! They are off the chain with deliciousness. Now I have to go back and try some others and food when I come off my fast A+ Rating!“

“I almost don't want to review it for fear of this hidden gem being overtaken by hype and becoming packed. However, it would be a disservice to not support the good people at Amen Cafe, so I will. This quaint, lowkey spot, tucked in the corner of Georgia Avenue and easy to walk by, is a MUST visit. The hospitality is unlike most cafes. They're attentive, kind, and make you feel secure in a home away from home feel. The Ethiopian coffee is some of the richest and boldest in the city, and if you want a huge wake up, get the ginger coffee. The fresh juice is refreshing and revitalizing, and always hits the spot. The pastries and sandwiches are solid as well, but by far if you're going to visit, get the Ful or Ful special, its a beautiful, rich spread that is my personal go to. I didn't even know I liked ful and now I'm hooked. I tried other cafes, no one in the city makes better ful than here. So yeah, I love my cafe, I hope it never leaves. Ameseghnalew“

“My father and I come in often. The customer service is always top tier. I’m not sure if this guy is the manager, but Tayron memorizes our order and greets us by name every visit. He doesn’t realize how helpful it is because my dad is losing his memory. He loves his job and sets the tone for all the other staff. So grateful he deserves all the kudos.“

“I celebrated my birthday year a couple of weeks ago. The food, atmosphere, waitress was fabulous. They were very accommodating. It was 12 of us and we had a ball with the DJ! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“I was in town from Tampa Florida and found Share tea across the street from my hotel. I went twice in the same day I loved it so much.!!! I am still thinking about the tea I had..:not sure if I will be able to find a place here in Tampa as good as ShareTea … The girl was also so helpful that was working there to explain the different teas that I could have.“

“When I first moved to Capitol Heights, I assumed that I would have to travel far for vegetarian/vegan food or make it myself. And how surprised was I that there was a vegan restaurant down the road! Each day the menu changes, so you could have a favorite every day of the week. And the portions! You can make SEVERAL meals out of one dinner. Is it cheap? NOPE! But something that's good for your body AND soul shouldn't be.“

“Eating here is a stark contrast to the Tropical at PG Plaza, the employees here are PRESENT and funny and MY BOWL WAS DELICIOUS!!! AND YOU SEE IT REFLECTED IN THE QUALITY OF THE REVIEWS HERE VERSUS PG WHERE THE ONE STAR REVIEW AT PG JUST KEEPS GETTING LONGER AND LONGER... I want so badly for PG to get its act together... It's closer to me, and because it's on the MD side of the line, it's CHEAPER because of the lower tax! It would cost me less in gas!!! My barber is even there.... All that being said, it's ridiculous but I'd rather PAY MORE, DRIVE FURTHER, AND WAIT LONGER, to get my breakfast & lunch here. I appreciate you Market St for redeeming the Tropical brand. 💯💯💯“

The iced matcha latte with oat milk was perfect and not as earthy as I'm used to it tasting - it paired perfectly with the chicken Caesar salad.

“I visited this location on Sunday, 02-25-24. I ordered a small mango-a-gogo for breakfast before leaving the city. There was only one young lady working; there were two people ahead of me, but as she was pleasant and kept the line moving.My smoothie was so good, I almost forgot to take a picture. “I enjoy coming here because the staff is friendly and helpful. I'm sick of hearing people complain that they don't get their food when they want it or that it's free. The manager, Alicia, and Kalif always make sure my food and smoothies are fresh and delicious, and they work really hard, especially during lunch rush.“
