“I used to live around the corner from the shop and now I'm so disappointed that I don't get to experience their ice cream all the time because I've moved an hour away. They are probably the most consistently good ice cream I've had in a long time. I love their flavor combinations. My mom's favorite is their rum & raisin. Mine are the banana pudding and the red velvet cake batter while my son loves mint chocolate chip. Definitely worth the trip. I hope they remain in La Plata for years to come.“

“This is a serious meat eaters paradise. Friendly staff feels like family. It’s not fancy but the food is the attraction. Excellent steak, brisket and killer ribs. Great sauces and sides. Everything was fresh and the coleslaw is house-made. Go if you’re truly hungry. They even have an ice cream store inside (and for takeout).“

“Staff is amazing, always pleasant and helpful. They never turn you away! The staff always try to make it work if they’re sold out of a particular flavor, which is appreciated. Cookies are good! The only issue I really have is the floor back there where they’re baking is always dirty whether they’re just opening or about to close.“

The gentleman in the truck was very professional and opened the truck back up for me even though he had already cleaned everything up and was ready to leave.
