““Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. Employees are more likely a family member than service provider !!! Seems like owner and the manager is maintaining the service and quality as much as possible…. ?"Happy Tastes Good." ?“
“I am not a big fan of ice creams, just like most people, but when I feel the craving for some of this goodness, then Baskin Robbins is where I go. I am just so familiar with all their ice cream flavors and I feel like I can't go wrong with something I have known for a long time.“
“The tres leches was so good! I love that they change the menu every week, there's definitely times where you see a good cookie flavor so you have to go try . Prices are expensive but honestly it's expected and the cookies are pretty big so you can share with others.“
“Great place! Kids love it. They want it everyday. They count the days until it reopens. Bank accounts are lower because...and not because of the price. Owner is awesome...We have a great experience every time we go...In my opinion too often...Kid-friendliness: Owner is onsite and interacts with customers as well as employees a lot of teenagers. Great atmoshere for kids and families.“
“Gelato Ice Cream Cafe is a well-kept secret, quietly thriving for over a decade under the attentive care of a Korean family. Crafting their own delightful ice cream selection, boasting around 16 flavors, each one is undoubtedly among the finest. A visit is a must to experience these delectable flavors that are sure to captivate your taste buds indefinitely.“
“Love this place. There seems to be a little confusion in the reviews with people mistaking frozen custard and soft serve ice cream. Frozen custard is made with egg yolks, and so it has a little bit thicker texture. We happen to be huge fans of frozen custard and so absolutely how Campbell's makes it. I don't normally love vanilla flavored desserts but I make an exception for this place. We haven't tried most of the special flavors, but the chocolate and vanilla are both very good--we typically bring home a quart and mix in our own toppings. We also LOVE the Oreo ice cream sandwiches.“
“My family had an unforgettable dessert experience!!! Loved look/feel of the parlor, enjoyed competent friendly service! Dining area- aesthetically pleasing in bright pastel colors, deserves an A+ for cleanliness! Our children, (ages range 5-9) were throughout, starting with posing at huge froggy cutouts for pictures, placed as soon as you walk in the establishment. Then delighted oohs, aahs! began while taking in the huge array of choices. Further excitement presented upon noticing the immense self serve style ice cream wall ending with vast Sneeze guard panels above buffet arrangement of so very many types of toppings-grateful for the labeled utensils waiting neatly placed in each type of goody! Next-weighing the final product of each customers selected dish/bowl/cone received giggles and interest along with a mini math lesson/discussion- determines the final cost. **Just a warning- children and, yes, adults left unchecked-completely free reign-likely will concoct an overwhelmingly large order that may not be as tasty as expected- and will go to waste. This was not my first trip... anyone's first time should really come with a quick reminder to think through different flavors, also consider textures taking into account desired taste when it will melt and blend together eventually (I suppose if you eat inside a freezer you may take it a little lightly, unless you have a separate container or come for each of your choices, I would give careful consideration to each addition to your icecream. I recommend for insistent, or just young children separate side bowl of different toppings and/or place toppings, spreads, syrups, candies, fruits, and unfamiliar icecream flavors off to the side, at edge, around the bowl. The smallest bowl is plenty large enough to have a myriad of choices side by side, swirled from the middle etc. Sweet Frog does have lids for all size containers, can be picked up from the register on the way out. If excitement or overwhelming variety causes a pile on, more than you can eat, -don't fret! The lids stayed rather well-No Spills- on the way home, even when little children tipped and turned them nothing leaked! Also, spoons given w/each bowl purchased fit neatly inside container under lid after it is closed. We pulled up w/one grouchy/unhappy child- he wanted to go somewhere else. At first, complaints about the array of sticky/hard toppings not able to enjoy (due to new braces), abruptly stopped before dessert was part way done! Not long after arriving, he was smiling broadly, using manners, and asking to return to Sweet Frog soon-before even finishing current dish! In part due to numerous interesting and delicious choices offered for ice cream and toppings, paired with an upbeat atmosphere showcasing a huge flat TV screen tuned to a favorite cartoon! I personally recommend trying the strawberry- best I have ever had- tasted like eating chilled, soft, creamy, and REAL freshly picked strawberries!***TLDR: 10/10, Will try again and again!!“
“It had been quite some time since I'd gone to a Dairy Queen, and this particular evening, I felt like going back to one. The food there was very good; I was surprised at how good the burger there actually was.The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean and well kept up. The detractor was that the food has caught up considerably in price since the last time I visited, in fact, getting a shake, a banana split and a burger by itself ran me close to 20 bucks...Nice visit, I just was a little Shell Shocked it the pricing of the menu items since the last time I'd been to a Dairy queen.“
“My wife and I went Wednesday night around 9:15 We started putting our toppings on the lady manger started taking up all the toppings. Me and the guy beside me looked at each other like what are you doing lady. My wife and I paid and went outside. She knew I was mad. I went back in and to pictures. The lady came outside and just kept saying toppings. Remember this is around 9:20 they close at 10:00 The place started to get real busy. The toppings are on the back counter. People had to ask and point at what toppings they wanted. The whole point of going is to put what toppings you want and as much as you want. What a joke.. The owner needs to go back and look a the cameras. She will see the time and how busy it got. Plus if this happens every night.. I called 2 times trying to get the owner. Plus called this after noon. We go there all the time .. It's not cheap. I'm changing my review. The owner contacted me and took care of my complaints. What a very nice phone call. Really cares about her business. Thank you.“
“Love this spot. It’s not too far from my house, we use to have to go downtown for bubble tea so it’s nice to have a closer option. The workers and the owner are super nice and remember you. It’s also super cozy in there, my favorites are taro and honeydew milk tea with boba. They don’t have cheese cap as an option yet, I hope they add it eventually. They did just add a few more things to their menu and have a cool computer screen option for ordering that you can put your number in to get points that lead to a free drink. If you like bubble and haven’t tried this place you’re missing out. ?“
“The flavors here are AMAZING! You can really taste real fruit in their flavors (try blackberry cobbler and strawberry cheesecake). The price is super cheap too, and the employee was super kind. She was also very generous with the scoops. Would very much recommend!“
“What you see is what you get, which is perfect for a roadside softserve place. The portions are huge, the ice cream is good, the staff is friendly. Couldn't ask for more, will definitely be going back. Just don't expect an 8 year-old to be able to handle a cone by themselves, and don't take your kids right before dinner.“
“Stopped in here on a road trip from Fairfax to Richmond, and grabbed a late night bubble tea. Their decor is super cute, so I took a couple pictures! We got the brown sugar milk tea and brown sugar ginger milk teas, and enjoyed them both. I felt they were a little on the expensive side, but they did taste great. Really good quality boba, which is a plus. The staff were polite and made our drinks quickly. Would definitely stop in again if we're in the area!“
“First time getting pizza, and it was quite good. We don't usually get flat bread pizza, but we will now that we know. Didn't try the custard but people in line had nothing but good things to say about it. So we'll try it next time we go there.“
“My fiancé and I love La Neveria! The small bites and mangonadas are to die for every time! Service is consistently great, my only complaint is the space. Since the place is small with few tables and the lines get long, its hard to find a table and eat. My fiancé and I usually just take everything to go. Overall, this place is a gem for sure!“
“As an avid motorcyclist, my wife and I have been to many ice cream parlors and Jimmy T’s is by far the best. lol. Their peanut butter sundae is out of this world. It comes with vanilla ice cream, but they’ll swap it out for chocolate if you ask them to. :)“
