“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“This Mediterranean fusion restaurant is a gem on the H Street corridor. The service is attentive and friendly and the food is top notch. This family run establishment has roots in Turkey - Istanbul, specifically - where they have several restaurants. I’m so glad that they decided to bring their cuisine to our neighborhood.
The baba ganoush is not your typical Middle Eastern dip, spiced wonderfully with peppers. We also enjoyed the lentil soup. Do not sleep on this. You never thought lentil soup could be so luxurious. We ordered the lamb chops and kofte as mains. Both were delicious. The couscous and carrots that accompanied the lamb were perfect. Not an afterthought like can happen so often with sides.
We didn’t have room for the Dubai chocolate cheesecake. We’re saving that for another visit. We did order the panda cotta, however. Chef’s kiss! Just like everything else we ate. Definitely try this place out! You won’t be disappointed. We’re gonna make it part of our regular rotation. Welcome Tiffany’s to the neighborhood!“

My only complaints were that I thought the beef shawarma was a little chewy and there were no water cups.“

“Update: since this experience I haven't had one nearly as bad as this the pizza is good and the cheesecake is delicious glad I tried it again after the bad first impression. ?
I know it's the Superbowl but I really can't accept this experience. Driver was amazing even went back to the restaurant to get an extra pizza. Reason why because our order took over 2 hours to get here and unfortunately they didn't even bring us 1 of the pizza we actually ordered. We got 2 random meat covered pizzas and all we ordered was extra cheese & chicken. The extra pizza was nice but I'm still not happy with getting 2 pizzas I can't eat. Wings are good but this was a terrible experience. Glad I ordered them since it was the only think I could eat from a $50 order. I think what we originally ordered would've been good and I could've eaten this one if not for the other meats. Ordered through slice.“

“I went to a Friendsgiving Saturday November 15, 2025 and everyone that was invited had to bring catering. And let me tell you, man did I I hit a home run with Shah’s Halal Food! 💯🗣️😋 the food was delicious and it was gone within an hour lol I ordered chicken, lamb, rice and veggies the very same day and the manager was caught off guard when I told him that I needed within a couple of hours lol the manager and his staff very friendly and professional, even gave me extra sauces and gave me a free soda 👍🏽👌🏽 I truly thank these guys and would recommend them to anyone for any catering service, thanks again Shah’s Halal, until next time 🤛🏽👊🏽“

“So glad Maman Joon opened up on Capitol Hill! I didn't want to cook, and it is right next to the Metro. We got the family meal so we could try a bit of everything for future take-out. It was all delicious! The chicken, beef, and kofta kebabs were all tasty -- not overcooked or dried out. The falafel was light, but crispy. We got a huge portion of rice, which was light and fluffy. The humus, tzatziki, and eggplant spreads (much like baba ghanoush) were great. There aren't any tables for seating, but that works great for us! Will definitely go again! The staff was really friendly too!“

Chick-fil-A was my favorite for a while but then got fed up with all the greasiness. Then all of a sudden I find myself being best pals with the manager 'Angel' who is a literal angel blessing me with meals that just make my day better. All of the employees are friendly and prior to meeting the manager, my meals were plain and dry so I asked him if he could make me something good and he definitely came through. I go there pretty much every time I eat at Stamp now, so if your excuse is that you don't know what to get just ask Angel. Or just ask for the Angel special and they will get you right what he makes me. I've yet to get tired of this place because the food is so fresh unlike what can be argued for the other dining options there. Give it a try.“
