“I love diners, went on the day after thanksgiving and service was great. Kind of packed but it is to be expected. Kiddos ordered pancakes, came out great. I ordered the corn beef hash, was a little to wet for my taste. All in all good experience.“

“This was my and my fiancé's first time dining at this restaurant a few nights ago. We made a table reservation via OpenTable for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:50pm, and we were seated right away. From previous reviews I heard I was a good idea to make reservations, so that seems to be accurate from our experience because it was definitely a full house. The food is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I enjoyed my appetizer of Fiesta Egg rolls which were definitely cheesy, hot, and full of shredded chicken and lots of flavor. For entrees I got the Prime Rib (medium) which was cooked perfectly with some redskin mashed potatoes 😋 my fiancé got the Eastern Shore style crab cakes which were broiled and very tasty; came with coleslaw and show string french fries. My fiancé enjoyed all of his meal, with the exception of the coleslaw which he did not partake in due to health reasons. I also tried to Elite Margarita which was pretty good but a tad strong on the tequila for my liking, but the lime slice helped to take down some of the bitter alcohol taste for me 🙂👍🏾 The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, classy, and dimly lit which we loved because it had a romantic vibe to it. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and welcoming and was on point making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning again to this location.“

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“Naked lunch is tasty and fresh. The staff is friendly and do their best to manage the long lines. My favorites are the greek potatoes (sub olives for mushrooms!), black bean burger with a side salad, buffalo chickpea tacos, crab cake sandwich, and moler bowl (mix the original dressing with the sesame dressing and add extra mushrooms!). Sometimes, they have a daily/weekly special that highlights an off menu entree, a soup, a muffin, and a drink of some sort. Shout out to Rob! He makes the best food! Sometimes, I'll just tell him, "Make me whatever," and every time, it ends up being so good!

“Closest thing to authentic Texas style bbq in the DMV area. I had the opportunity to try most of the menu. Here’s what I ate.

•Smoked Spicy Sausage- Good. spice hits afterwards.
•Smoked sausage- nice hickory flavored.
•Prime Brisket- moist! Simple seasoning. Nice smoke ring and very tender.
•Spare Ribs- the seasoning makes it flavorful. Tender.
•Dino Ribs- Massive! This can be a meal by itself.
•Smoked Turkey- Tender and juicy. Bland in flavor.
•Mac & Cheese- I had low expectations but they beyond exceed them. Nice, creamy, cheesy and seasoned well.
•Brisket Beans- This has a kick to it due to the jalapeños. Too soupy for my liking.
•Roasted Veggies (red onion, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes) - Good.
•Potato Salad (mustard based)- Heavy mustard taste but it’s advertised as mustard based. Lack spices.
•Cornbread- good
•Smoked Cheese Ball- Interesting concept. Not bad.
•Banana Pudding- Good.

Wheelchair accessibility: Limited. Easy for outdoor dining but indoor dining is tight for wheelchair access and the picnic tables and hightop tables make it hard for individuals to dine at.“

I would definitely get the breaded vegan chicken cutlets again and the biscuit was pretty good but I do not recommend either version of the mac and cheese because the mac is quite soft. I regret not choosing the grits over the mac because those looked great! Drink option are all bottled juices and smoothies and a few lemonades - no water, soda, or tea.“

I’m a local and for whatever reason hadn’t visited Queen Vic before yesterday, but a friend and I decided to drop in for a couple beers and a snack. Little did we know the level of hospitality we would receive. Matt is so kind and immediately treated us like family. The bar was busy but we felt taken care of and happy the entire time. “The food here is amazing - I usually get chicken and lamb kabobs. The homemade bread they make with the kabobs is so Butterly and soft. I'm not a fan of yogurt salads or chickpea rice, so I just got a plain salad and white rice. The food can be somewhat pricey, but it's great comfort food, especially when it starts to get cooler outside.“
