“A restaurant inside the Double Tree hotel. It was not busy, and service was prompt and efficient. The food was just okay. The menu has a few choices in each section of appitizers, soup and salads, sandwiches and dinner entrees. The buttermilk chicken patty on the sandwich was a bit tough and tasted like the meat had been frozen. The crab cake was good, with fresh crab and not too much filler. The old bay chips had a flavor that did not appeal to me“

“This place is such a hidden gem. I love that it’s in a very nondescript, mysterious location. The vibes are immaculate and I had the best cocktail of my life here (caffe pistachio) and they are delicious and reasonably priced. My only criticism is that the music was a bit odd, it felt like I was in a yoga studio. otherwise i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique, true speakeasy vibe for an after dinner cocktail.“

“I go to foleys all the time and I love it there! The wings are amazing and I love all the Guinness combos they have. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a tv in place of the chalkboard that is above the middle of the bar. If you’re sitting in the middle of the bar you have to crane your neck around to watch anything, having a tv there would be awesome!“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. “Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“Max's Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Fells Point sometimes service can be a little tough here because there's usually only one bartender however it is a fantastic spot and one of the oldest bars in Fells Point I highly recommend you at least visit once in order to check it out there's so many bars in Fells Point it's hard to hit them all but this is one of my favorites the food is fantastic beer selection is great however I did ask the bartender about cider and he immediately said we only have it in cans which was wrong they had two different ciders on draft so maybe just read the menu for yourself since it seems to bartender may not know exactly what's on draft. If you are a cider fan I highly recommend you check out the DownEast fall cider it is delicious and on draft I'll recommend it since the bartender didn't even seem to know!“

“This is a great local bar with a lot of character. You won't find friendlier people anywhere. Classic old school decor inside and on the night we were there, DJs spinning the disks at your request. Wander upstairs and check out the record store while you're there. This is a must hang in Baltimore.“

“I heard the stories about this place and it had been closed for a couple of years as the hotel it's in underwent renovation and ownership changes but it's back open and I couldn't be happier.

Steve the bartender is currently a one man show and we were there on the weekend it reopened and he was so happy to be back in his happy place. The man is a cocktail maven who loves his craft and what he does and his customers as well.

There is currently no menu here you ask for what you want or can tell Steve what you are in the mood for and he will make something amazing!

I got a smoked old fashioned that he smokes with his own blend of wood and spices and it was easily in the Top 5 of best old fashioneds I've ever had.

“Everything was excellent. The crabs were seasoned just the way I like them with a cold Coors light. Those sweet potato fries were to die for and the wings were freshly fried so they were juicy and seasoned to perfection. We also had the privilege of chatting with the owner Steve and Tyler and the two waitresses that waited on us was very attentive. I highly recommend this spot which I had passed by several times but never stopped.“

“I came here after dinner in Fells, and it was such a cool, swanky vibe—definitely not what I expected from a hotel bar in Baltimore!

Drinks were good and reasonably priced, but it did take a while to get our order in. We didn’t have to wait for a table (even on a busy weekend), which was a win for our group of four.

Parking: Street parking is rarely a problem! Just check the signs to confirm you're in a good spot, but in general it's not a problem at all!“
