“A restaurant inside the Double Tree hotel. It was not busy, and service was prompt and efficient. The food was just okay. The menu has a few choices in each section of appitizers, soup and salads, sandwiches and dinner entrees. The buttermilk chicken patty on the sandwich was a bit tough and tasted like the meat had been frozen. The crab cake was good, with fresh crab and not too much filler. The old bay chips had a flavor that did not appeal to me“

“Everything past the two horrible hostess was excellent. Please re-educate them on what their job is, they set a tone from the beginning. Now to the relevant parts. My server Melyka was sincerely a breathe of fresh air from the attitude and eye roll I experienced at the beginning, she just walked up with the biggest smile and her Energy was amazing, it actually calmed me down lol. She constantly checked on me. Every runner was also pleasant who brought my food out. The food was hot and fresh. The mozzarella sticks were perfect, the big bites were hot and flavourful and the chicken tender (honey Chipotle) were cooked perfectly and crispy. I ordered a side salad as well that was so pretty (NOT just thrown on plate) It was a busy night, but food came out in a timely matter and job well done ( Besides the hostesses once again, sorry just unnecessary rudeness grinds my gears)“

We are always greeted and told about the 20% being included in each drink order and we’re fine with that because the mixologists are fabulous, the atmosphere is wonderful and we will continue to patronize this wonderful establishment and support the city of Baltimore and a small business in the process.“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. “My friend and I went here recently for the first time. We sat at a little table by the bar and were served immediately. Our female server/bartender was very friendly. Food and service were both excellent. We split a salad, buffalo wings, and a smash burger with fries. Everything we ate was seriously so good! 10/10 recommend this place!“

“I heard the stories about this place and it had been closed for a couple of years as the hotel it's in underwent renovation and ownership changes but it's back open and I couldn't be happier.

Steve the bartender is currently a one man show and we were there on the weekend it reopened and he was so happy to be back in his happy place. The man is a cocktail maven who loves his craft and what he does and his customers as well.

There is currently no menu here you ask for what you want or can tell Steve what you are in the mood for and he will make something amazing!

I got a smoked old fashioned that he smokes with his own blend of wood and spices and it was easily in the Top 5 of best old fashioneds I've ever had.

“So I went to blooms on a slow Saturday night. Inside is super nice, & I do love the vintage 70s aesthetic of it all. Idk if they take reservations, but I just walked in &. A hostess sat me down. The velvet couches are a nice touch, though they aren't the most comfortable IMO. It's small, can probably hold about 50 ppl total. But for it to be a slow night, the service was even slower, surprisingly. Getting my waiter's attention felt like the hunger games :( she served me and would disappear for 30 minutes. It took nearly another 30 minutes just to get the check after I asked. I'd go back, but I wouldn't get a table. I'd just stand at the bar, where the service seems quicker. My drinks were very good! On the pricey side but that's to be expected with cocktail bars these days.“

“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.

We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

I absolutely loved the show, ambience & vibe and the drinks. Spencer was nothing short of incredible! Every single act was jaw-dropping, but what really set the night apart was how much comedy and audience interaction there was. From start to finish, he kept pulling people into the experience, making everyone feel like part of the illusions rather than just be mere spectators. It was so natural, so fun, and honestly there was never a dull moment.
What I appreciated most was how genuine and down-to-earth he felt on stage. The humour, the timing, the surprises, it all flowed perfectly and kept the entire room buzzing!😁 You could tell he truly loves what he does, and that energy was contagious!🤩
And a big shout-out to Nicole behind the bar — she was fantastic and made the night even better with great service and a warm, friendly vibe! And the drinks were spectacular too!😁

“Max's Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Fells Point sometimes service can be a little tough here because there's usually only one bartender however it is a fantastic spot and one of the oldest bars in Fells Point I highly recommend you at least visit once in order to check it out there's so many bars in Fells Point it's hard to hit them all but this is one of my favorites the food is fantastic beer selection is great however I did ask the bartender about cider and he immediately said we only have it in cans which was wrong they had two different ciders on draft so maybe just read the menu for yourself since it seems to bartender may not know exactly what's on draft. If you are a cider fan I highly recommend you check out the DownEast fall cider it is delicious and on draft I'll recommend it since the bartender didn't even seem to know!“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“
